Annoyed with myself for missing the actual anniversary but nvm. Here's the mock hazard tape I stole with my mates 20 years ago.

Gary propaganda:
He seems very stuck in the past, and although that has something to do with his substance abuse and trying to chase a high he'll never get again, his clothes haven't even changed let alone his style.
He really REALLY likes sisters of mercy.
He doesn't seem to get social queues, and although he was drunk for a lot of the movie, it didn't seem to be too out of character for how he usually is when he's off any substances.
Substance abuse is actually pretty common in neurodivergent people because it gives off dopamine and serotonin that we lack. Neurodivergent people are also more likely to get addicted to things. (not all ND people will be addicts obviously)
His emotional reactions seem inappropriate to the situations he's in, even before he was heavily under the influence.
Nicholas Propaganda:
He doesn't understand social queues and prefers to be alone.
He doesn't do well in a work environment, especially not with people he isn't close to. He seems to almost look to Danny in some of the social situations he's in for reassurance.
It seems like he has a fixation on the law and has done since he was little. He's better at talking to people in an orderly and professional manner and can't cope when things aren't a specific way.
Shaun propaganda:
(NOTE: I haven't seen this film in a while, so if some details are wrong I apologise)
He's awkward socially and seems to communicate better with Ed than most people.
Although it was a difficult situation, the way he dealt with his mother finding someone else was difficult, he seemed to just not enjoy the change more than anything.
He seemed to deal with the whole Zombie apocolypse idea better than any small changes that came his way.

"You just can't switch off, Nicholas, and until you find a person you care about more than your job, you never will."
this is a certified angelbutter moment 😎
in all seriousness i am completely insane about them and now that i've figured out how to draw them in a pretty simplistic style, i have a funny feeling there's gonna be a lot more of the two of them spilling out from my pencil in the future.
lineart under the cut!
I actually managed to replicate a specific style i've drawn in before! though the lineart this time is noticeably thicker, but whatever!!! this is still a huge win for me since normally any particular art piece looks completely disjointed from anything else i've ever drawn.
i also drew bill and ted in this style
