Okay, so the WOY pilot.
I've kind of had the assumption/theory/whatever that Wander and Sylvia had been traveling together and been partners for only a little bit of time before the show started, this being the reason for why Sylvia was still taken somewhat off-guard when Wander wandered off to greet the Watchdogs. And, slowly, we see Sylvia get used to his antics and understand that he is most certainly going to run off.
In the pilot, though, their relationship already feels really strong, like they already know each other well, Sylvia just shaking her head and smiling when Wander gets distracted and acknowledging Wander's ideas. It felt very sweet.
I'll just keep it short and sweet and say that I love the growth and exploration in characters' relationships throughout the show.

JUST WATCHED THE LEAKED WOY PILOT!!!!!!!! It was, as I expected, literally just the first episode with some minor changes. Sylvia, Peepers and Hater all sounded slightly different(despite having the same VAs as in the actual show), the designs were all slightly(or in Sylvia's case INCREDIBLY) different, etc etc. Wander and Hater's personalities stayed mostly the same from pilot to show, but Peepers had like. A different energy that's really hard to describe, and Sylvia was an ENTIRELY different person omg- she was so much more anxious and unwilling to fight in the pilot damn. The sound design was also pretty different. I also like King Bingleborp a lot more in the pilot- Idk why he just has a better vibe.
