โ€œRepresenting Indian women has been such a joy. Ninety-nine per cent of the people who recognise me and come up to me are women of colour, and thatโ€™s the best feeling because theyโ€™re so excited for me.โ€

The person who sent this ask shouldn't have asked on tumblr, cause this is the website that thinks touch grass is a genuine insult.
No you can't just show people Anime tiddies and expect them to be cool. Just because y'all are used to it, doesn't mean it wouldn't be weird to see in real life without a warning.
AITA for telling a guy to go touch some grass?
(This is a very minor issue, but I can't stop thinking about it, and I need to know if I was out of line...)
I (25F) am in my first year at an art school. I was working on a project at the school outside of class hours when we started chatting with the other students working there.
Another guy from the school (2nd or 3rd year, idk, I had never talked to him before) asked me to come see his artwork on tablet, which he was proud of. I got up excited to see it. It was a woman in anime style, very sexualized: very big curves, defined abs, low cleavage, etc. It immediately made me uncomfortable, but I tried my best to remain polite. I said something along the lines of "Oh, that's nice, you have good skills... maybe you should go touch some grass, though, but the technique is great!" And then I went back to work on my project.
Later on, when the dude left, a classmate (20M) who had witnessed the earlier exchange told me I had been "very rude and harsh" towards him.
I think the dude was the senseless one. I don't even know his name, I barely had registered his face at the school, and he shows me such a drawing. But maybe it's because I don't watch that kind of anime? AITA?

care is deliberate and enduring
[Image ID: a series of six cartoon illustrations depicting how to hand wash a kufiya, titled โ€œHow to wash your kufiya & deliberate care for delicate things. Each step reads as follows: Add cold water and half a teaspoon of detergent to a large wash basin. Completely soak your kufiya for 10-20 minutes. Gently wring out the water without squeezing too hard. Lay your kufiya on a dry towel and roll it up, pressing gently. let it dry for 20-30 minutes. Unroll and air dry out of direct sun to maintain colour vibrancy. End ID]

Stills from We Are Lady Parts season 2, coming May 30
A NOTE FROM NIDA MANZOOR (CREATOR/WRITER/DIRECTOR/EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) IN PEACOCK'S PRESS RELEASE: Making season one of We Are Lady Parts was immense for me. It was a trial by fire, but I found my voice, my style and my confidence in creating this show. Most importantly, I found my tribe - from actors and crew to producers and studio execs. So, coming to season two, I was galvanised. The characters, the world, the tone - it was all there, established, and ready to go. Now it was time to turn things up to 11. I wanted to go bolder, sillier, darker and deeper and that is exactly what we strived to do. In season two, we explore the interior lives of each of the women in more depth. Each of them facing new, existential challenges with all the silliness, pratfalls and banter of season one. The music is bigger too - more wild original tunes (penned by me and my siblings) and dare I say it, even better covers. The season overall asks the question of success. What is success? For a punk band - is fame, stadium shows and major record deals the answer? I wanted to explore the uncomfortable tension between art and commerce and ask how much compromise is too much. I'm really proud of what we achieved, and can't wait to share it with old fans and new.
