For the Asl merfolk au who does Sabo meet first after they split up with each other? Also for some reason I kinda imagine the reason why Shanks is good with merfolk is because he met Buggy probably almost got mauled to death or something...

Oo when they split Sabo meets Koala! (Sea urchin type of merfolk!) They hit it off and Sabo ends up with Dragon and the revs — Basically part of an organization that helps other merfolk..

Oh and Buggy being a merfolk Is funny, I think he’ll be a clown fish type of mermaid! I can deffo see Shanks annoying him until he’s had enough and jumps out the water to maul him 😭
