okay all of yall are different ages with woojin, chan, minho, and changbin in their last year, the 00 line in their middle year, and jeongin in his first year (with u and persi)

yall are taking,,, drum roll please,,,

art 1 !

listen. these mad lads went straight for their music and dance which is FINE but mandatory one year of art so yall are in a class together! strange,,, but that is the class all eleven of yall share and its,, fairly chaotic

well, mostly because of the crackheads (you, felix, minho, and jisung) who congregated in the back corner and get kicked out three times a week for their antics but like. the rest of yall are chillin and are good diligent students !

well,

for the most part

see the thing is,,

you get your stuff done all the time !! in fact youre probably among the first to turn their stuff in !! like WOWZA ur fast

but, that, is, because, u, want, maximum, time, to, daydream, about,,,,

HYUNJIN

you never really interact with him because hes an uppcerclassman and hes got his friend group and stuff and ur best buds with the Crackheads ! but like. hes so CUTE and SOFT and TALENTED like truly... an ideal boyfie

and your friends make fun of you ALL THE TIME ! like.. you finished your work and youre goofing off with the mad lads in the corner and then jisung will nudge you and go “oOoOoO he glanced in our direction i wonder what that could mean”

and ur like. we are. so loud. the loudest ppl in the class. hes probably a lil annoyed but on the inside ur like “WEEWOOWEEWOOWEEWOOWEEWOO” like ur having an internal meltdown bc dance god visual god just looked in your direction

but then the teacher comes by and ur head goes down a wee bit and you add some finishing touches to ur project as the teacher bags on the rest of the Crackhead Squad for goofing off in class and theyre asked to step outside and take a breather and once they think they can behave they can return to class

which MEANS they aint comin back

so you take this opportunity of Tranquility to do your fave activity ...

daydream abt ur crush and stare at the back of his head wistfully ! and its real cute and wholesome and stuff and like

when he turns to ask woojin about something for the project you see the lil mole under his eye and the sunlight catches his soft hair just right and ur just losing it because hes SO SOFT like bitch what the absolute fuck !! why did god pop off so hard making him

and then... It Happens

youre gazing at him, lost in space as you daydream about holding his hand and going on ice cream dates, he turns around to ask woojin something again and as he does so Yall Make Eye Contact and you FREAK

not externally but internally youre literally on fire and you dont know what to do

so out of instinct you do a quick peace sign and he gives you a little smile and then goes to do what he intended to do (ask woojin how the hell ur supposed to paint this)

and youre LOSING IT like not only did he acknowledge you but HE SMILED AT YOU!! HOLY SHIT !! BITCH WHAT THE FUCK OH MY GOD

youre lowkey hyperventilating but its fine because class ends and its your last period so you pack up your bags and head out to walk home with lix, jisung, and minho!! and theyre like wiggling their eyebrows at you and you KNOW theyll tease you but. you need to share this interaction.

and lemme tell you THEY LOSE IT TOO!!! bc hyunjin is a Shy Lad there is no way he caught you looking at him and let it pass !! he had to like you theres no way he didnt NOT like you yknow??? it is Out Of His Character he usually ignores that stuff

and ur like haha no guys its not that deep !! but internally ur freaking out Because Oh MY God What If It Is That Deep so you decide,, to hatch a plan to confess

and the thing is,,, IT IS THAT DEEP

hyunjin is lowkey losing it because. he usually Minds His Own Business and he knows hes popular among people for being cute but ur just. so funny and cute and wholesome and oh wow is his heart beating a lil fast?

so. yall are hatching your plans to confess

hyunjin goes to persi, resident Secret Holder for the laid ease, and reveals that you like nice bright flowers !! like roses, sunflowers, orchids!!! and that you really like pretzels and chocolate almonds uwu

and you go to seungmin and jeongin, who reveal that hyunjin loves forget-me-nots! and he has an affinity for strawb milk and the golden oreos!!!

the thing is,, yall are kinda cliche. like,,, shoujo manga kinda cliche. so if it isnt obvious already yall are hatching THE SAME CONFESSION PLAN HHHHH YALL ARE SO C U T E

so yall draft letters upon letters, spilling your hearts out in its contents !

hyunjins letter is pure white, smelling a bit like his cologne ! it has no marks on it or anything

your letter is light pink and smells like your perfume! its closed with a red heart sticker uwu

yall slip a little note onto each others desk asking to meet each other on the rooftop and ur both like FUCK I HOPE THEY COME EARLY SO I CAN REJECT THEM BEFORE THE PERSON I ACTUALLY LIKE COMES

because,, since yall dont interact much yall dont recognize the others handwriting sgfgfdghf literally dumb bitch hours

anyways yall both SPRINT to that rooftop after school but you were nervous so you got a pep talk from ur friends, the lads, before going up

so once again, yall dont realize. that you have. the same plan.

so hyunjin is waiting there all nervous HOPING youll come first and not whoever else planned on confessing

and youre sprinting up the stairs, hoping whoever planned on confessing wasnt there yet but hyunjin is so that you can confess

and as you burst through the door, pink letter in hand, your eyes zoom to the letter in hyunjins hands and ur like. Oh. Oh Dear.

and hyunjin looks at you, then the letter in ur hands like. Oh. Oh Dear.

so you two shyly exchange letters, faces burning red as you read through the confession

and the thing is at one point in your letter you mention how it would be a dream to even hold is hand so he just. this absolute cheeseball. he hold your hand and goes “i guess dreams come true!” and you LOSE IT because oh my god hes such a NERD !!!! but now hes your nerd :^)

so yall go to the park afterwards and split your snacks between the two of you, monching and talking until the stars are twinkling and you guys realize FUCK THERES HOMEWORK

so you go home to do your hw! and yall put the flowers in a cute vase, right next to your beds :^) as a reminder ! (though hyunjin presses some of them with the help of his mom so he can preserve them forever oopsies_

and when yall walk onto school the next day hand in hand, hyunjins friends are like “NICE” but also super shocked bc HYUNJIN?? DATING???

but then your friends. your mad lads. absolutely fucking LOSE IT they are hooting and hollering and you are like Oh My God I Am So Sorry and hyunjin just. does a lil smirk and kisses ur cheek and u are sent into SHOCK and your friends are in cardiac arrest because holy fucking SHIT

and you two are literally the school’s it couple like initially some people were hostile because they wanted to date hyunjin !! but after a while they accepted it and grew to love the both of yall together, from your wholesome interactions to slight crackheadedness

its just so CUTE he always brings you like a rose or smth every day and ur like “this must be expensive” and hes like ! “for you, nothing is expensive” and ur like “ur so cheesy” and hes like “only for you bb :^)”

also now your side of the class has merged with hyunjin and his friends now joining yall crackheads and its cute uwu

yo lets g o i might be in a funk but i can be productive

the most teasing boyfie alive!! hes like. 9 inches taller lmaooo u BET ur ass that whenever u wanna smooch not only does he refuse to lean down to meet you halfway he goes on his tip toes just to piss you off

yall just have that cute dynamic where yall tease each other but more often than not yeonjun has the upper hand bc. hes older. taller. part of a successful idol group. the whole shebang ! hes just got an advantage in terms of superiority in more ways than one

but at the very least,, you dont have to call him oppa owo

some common dates!!

honestly b e t yall go to mcdonalds or something at 2am for like. ice cream or fries or straight up a Feast because you dont sleep and hes always at practice so youre both still enthusiastic and fun and the workers arent fazed by yalls attitude but d a m n

you: “do you think this cookie would taste good if i dipped it in ranch”

you, almost vomiting: “it tastes so good, try it”

also just driving aimlessly in general! its good content especially if neither of you can sleep because uwuwuwu you get to watch the sunrise together!

you guys almost fist fight over dance dance revolution bc. homeboy is literally an idol but he didnt even TRY to go easy and lessen the gap a lil but its okay bc ur the number one dancer and musician in his heart anyways uwu also he won you several plushies so !

on the topic of musician ! yall playing the guitar and singing a duet together? a nice soft love song that leaves yall in a soft mess of uwus ? adorable and incredibly realistic

also just. hes the Adult member of the group so sometimes he just stays over at your place and yall cuddle and now just imagine:

you wake up in the morning, your eyesight bleary as some rays of sunshine stream through the curtains. you try to get up but youre pinned down by yeonjun, fast asleep with his arms wrapped tightly around your waist. you try to inch away to get a glass of water, rubbing the sleep from your eyes, but yeonjun wraps his arms tighter

he mumbles a good morning, sleep dripping from his deep voice as you mumble a quiet good morning back, asking him if he could let go of you so you can relieve your throat, but he drags you back to him. “later. let me cuddle you.”

and you both slowly fall asleep again in each other's embrace as the sunshine kisses your skin

that is LITERALLY so soft and so ideal and yall have mornings like that so hecking often

also !! lemme get into some pda :^)

first of all: hugs!!! he literally gives the best hugs bc he fucking towers OVER you you barely reach his shoulders !!

so he just. engulfs you !! and its so nice especially when youre feeling overwhelmed and overstimulated so he just hugs you and the world melts away and all you can sense is him

like... truly and ideal mans!! also because yall are real playful you guys do running hugs a lot !! like when he gets home early from practice you just YEET through the halls and throw yourself at him and he picks you up and twirls you around ! and hes like !! princess!!

yes indeed he calls you PRINCESS how soft is that...

anyways: kisses!!

usually yall peck each other wherever !! you tend to just. smooch his shoulder or, if you rlly put in the effort is neck or his jaw, which sends him into a fit of giggles

he loves to peck your forehead, your nose, your cheeks !! he just loves to SMOOCH bc ur small and pretty and cute and lovely

like... wowza !!

but most importantly he loves to actually KISS you !!! and usually its real soft and sweet

but sometimes,, homeboy is tired and anxious and riled up and so he just. kisses you so needily and youre like.. :o but also :^) and it quickly devolves into a nice long makeout session

he likes having you sit on his lap/straddle him during those :^) and i will end it at that

sometimes yall get into some funks and thats so valid!!! it happens to the best of us

so yall order some of your fave foods and desserts, pull up netflix and marathon your favorite movies as yall distract yourselves for the time being

and afterwards, yall put on some nice jams and just. talk about whats bothering you, what life has been like, etc! because both of you are big ol softies at heart and your feelings tend to be rather transparent and you guys cry it out, be it sadness or frustration

and it makes you guys all the more closer because youre at that level of comfort where really, you can talk about anything without feeling awkward or uncomfortable

anyways, back to some nice fluff

you steal his clothes a l l t h e t i m e and its kinda funny because hes literally nine inches taller so you are just SWIMMING in his clothes but it makes you all the more cuter

and sometimes when he wants to make you laugh he’ll steal your clothes, the ones with a nice stretch, and model them for you (with a strict no photo policy unless youre feeling down) and its the funniest thing seeing this toned, 5′11 guy wear your crop top that BARELY covers anything for him

and hes just like “just look dont touch” with the s a s s i e s t voice and youre in fucking s h a m b l e s

overall hes a really nice guy that might tease you sometimes but he loves you SO much its unreal and hes ready to be with you through good and bad

and hes down for all the adventured that youll have and he hopes--no, he knows--that he will spend the rest of his life with you :^)

soulmate au!

soulmate au where you have your soulmates favorite flower on your wrist, and it starts off as a seed but as you get closer and closer to meeting the flower grows and grows until its in full bloom

you were born with red carnation seeds decorating your wrist, which you found out meant strength and commitment

some peoples flowers would bloom by the time they were tots, whereas some would only bloom in their old ages when they were in retirement

and god, you being a hopeless romantic, you prayed that your soulmate would come sooner than later

however, you went through most of your life with dainty seeds decorating the expanse of your right wrist

of course, you were thankful you had seeds at all--some peoples seeds whither away when their soulmate died before they could even meet, some never had seeds at all

but you hoped you could see the day your flowers would bloom and you could be hopelessly in love with your soulmate

but they remained stagnant as always

and you didnt want to be a negative nancy but so many of the people around you found their soulmates already

at this point you’re in high school and you just,, c r a v e intimacy because dating outside of your soulmate is frowned upon so you project your love onto kpop idols

you jumped from one to another, tao to hoya to wendy to daniel

and you heard about some of the other rookie groups but you were generally sticking to your guns

even when persi burst into your homeroom one day, screaming about how she just met her soulmate in a cafe and it was minho from stray kids

but you just focused on the delicate forget-me-nots on their wrist, sighing and wondering when you too can flaunt your flowers

persi sat down next to you and began rambling, either ignoring your distant look or being too enamored to care, they talked and talked about how sweet he was and how he invited them to their next fansign before she shook you and said

“DUDE we can got to the fansign together !! his managers letting us go im so excited for you to meet him hes such a sweetheart !! who knows, maybe youll find your soulmate there too !”

you rolled your eyes but nodded, noting down the date of the fansign in your planner

you highly doubted you’d find your soulmate at a fansign of all places,, besides, itd be chaotic with so many fans around--how could you tell who was your soulmate?

regardless, you didnt wanna look like a fool, showing up to a fansign for a group you didnt know of, so you started looking into skz and my god,, are they talented

and you couldnt even begin to choose a favorite song or even a bias but something about ,, hyunjin, was it? just really stood out to you and you wanted to know more and more

in fact, you were so enthralled with learning more about the group (and hyunjin) that you failed to notice how the seeds started to grow and grow as the fansign approached, flourishing into a little sprout curling on the smooth expanse of your wrist

and approach it did, and you and persi arrived at the fansign looking bomb as fuck and you were incredibly giddy to see your new ult group and your new ult of ults--hyunjin

hes just so sweet and hardworking and talented and empathetic and humble and on top of it all hes HANDSOME

as red petals began to sprout from the little plant on your wrist

and you got in line behind a bouncing persi as she bounded forwards to meet her new friends and her soulmate !!!

you passed through the lines quicker than expected, engaging in playful banter with seungmin and passionately discussing music with 3racha and exchanging memes with felix--the whole nine yards !! you were incredibly excited

you met minho as well, and discussed a whole lot about persi (and exposed their incredibly embarrassing moments)

but then you got to the end of the line, your album almost complete with eight whole signatures !!!

to hyunjin

and its like cupid struck you with an arrow and hyunjin was basically GLOWING as you guys started to talk, though hyunjin did have to lead the conversation because you were STARSTRUCK by him,,, this absolute angel among mortals

the mole under his eye is cuter than the pictures, his smile is brighter than you can imagine, and he is so incredibly SWEET and youre in love

and honestly, so is hyunjin ! bc youre quiet now but he saw you rambling with persi and how excited you were and hes just HOPING he can bring you back down to earth in time before your time is up with him beause not only are you cute but your personality is, to be quite frank, intoxicating

and you guys start talking about music and dancing, your passion for performing, and you guys realize just how MUCH you guys have in common !! its ridiculous

and hyunjin signs your album, giddy, including in tiny writing his phone number !!! bc he really wants to see you again and if minho can talk to cute ppl so can he !!

and as your hands brush as he gives you your album, as your sleeves slip up your arm as you two stretch out to exchange the albums

its all sunflowers and red carnations

and you two look at each other in shock, flustered, because no DUH youre so enamored with each other,,, youre soulmates.

and hyunjin calls over his manager as you move away as the next person in line gets ready to talk to hyunjin

to make sure you stay, to pull you aside, so that he can talk to you after and ensure that he can take you out on a date

because like hell he’ll let you leave him so quickly

and you couldnt be giddier, tracing the red carnations staining your wrist as you stand off to the side, waiting until the end of the fansign so you can go on a date with him

because like hell you’ll let him leave so quickly

youve accumulated an interesting and lovely friend group over the years !!! from felix, your aussie meme supplier to persi, your chaotic fool !

but honestly? youre most grateful for your lovely (ahemboyahem)friend hyunjin !! bc honestly,,,

you two have been friends since diapers and have been together through thick and thin, from bad haircuts to weird crushes !

you guys binge watched random shows together, cried together, camped out for concerts together, and so much more !!

he always without fail, knows what to say or do to make you feel at least a bit better and to regain enough energy to get through your day no matter how bad its been going

hes always been a pillar of support, and even when you called him at 4am because you cant sleep and youre exhausted and sad he sings you back to sleep and talks you through whatevers got you buggin

and it means so very much to you because youve had the misfortune of meeting some nasty people in your life, and theyve come and gone but hyunjin has consistently been there for you ! a lovely friend and your #1 supporter

and the same applies to him ofc!!! when he cries because he doesnt know if he can pursue his dreams, when he stresses over examinations, when hes craving jack in the box at 2am youre right there with him (even if you might be tired oops)

and youre quite the romantic so sometimes you look at your friendship like There Is No Way Our Friendship Is Real ! but it IS and its marvelous !!!

but ,,, on the topic of you being quite the romantic,,, your heart gets the BIGGEST dokis when youre around him

like youre absolutely enamored with his passion, his dedication, his energy, just, everything about him has you head over heels !!

and it doesnt help that hes also just incredibly cute. but also he represents the duality of man and you just generally feel attacked on all fronts like he is Cute And Hot And TALENTED He Is The Whole Package

but like,, over your dead body youd let him know you have a massive crush on him

bc above all else hes been one of the few people consistently by your side and you dont know what you would do with yourself if you somehow messed it up? but little do you know hyunjins thinking the exact same thing

but anyways

you and the gang go camping !!! it is summer break so it is warm and nice and although there are bugs you also dont have to worry about a storm carrying off with your tents

however,,, a miscalculation has occurred bc persi was initially VERY against going camping so bang chan only brought ten tents but ultimately they came after much convincing from minhos end

so,,, someone is either going without a tent or two people are sharing

and there was a Lot of discourse going on about who would be sacrificing their sleep to share a sleeping bag (incredibly close and pretty intimate) or sacrificing their sleep to the elements

however, seungmin was like :^) how about the last people who are awake can decide if theyll share or if one of them goes without the sleeping bag ! and everyone agrees

but you,, stay silent,,, because you notoriously stay up super late

“sleep is for the weak”

ah how your ideologies bite you in the ass now

first the youngest kids start to knock out like jeongin and jisung and felix and seungmin

and then bang chan and woojin who stayed up all night before producing and practicing singing, respectively

and then changbin, who was just rlly tired

and then minho and persi, who passed out after an Intense game of uno

which left you and hyunjin and youre internally freaking out bc even if you Insisted on sleeping ad facing the elements hyunjin is stubbornly nice and would make you take the sleeping bag

so you blurt out “do you want to just share the sleeping bag? its not much different to the sleepovers we had as kids”

and hyunjin looks calm and collected and goes “sure :^)” but internally hes SCREAMING in glee because hes exhausted but he Needed to stay up so it can play out the way he wanted it to which was : cuddle you

so you two separate to change into some pjs before slipping,, into the sleeping bag together

and it takes some shifting and adjusting but then !! hyunjin is big spoon and you are small spoon and you are so tense and awkward because HECKHECKHECK HES SO CLOSE

but then hyunjin kinda sleepily breathes against your neck

“relax”

and you just,,, turn into mush on the spot because thats so cute but incredibly attractive

and you two fall asleep, cuddling like that

and you wake up in the morning to bright lights and the sound,,, of people LAUGHING and you open your eyes to someones camera pointing directly at you

and as you wake up a bit more you realize,, that you and hyunjin shifted and you are lying down ON HIM, head tucked into his neck and his arms wrapped around your waist and you want to shriek

and then you feel hyunjin shift and you are MORTIFIED as he whispers a husky good morning and you zip zip that sleeping bag open, say a hushed good mornin before NYOOMING away from the hyunjin and your friends, currently crooning over the pictures of you and hyunjin cuddling on persi’s phone

you sneak into persis tent and change into some of their clothes because it Does Not Matter You Need To Yeet And Get Over The Embarassment

so you head down to the lake nearby and sit down on a log and just,,, repeat the scene of you looking up at hyunjin as youre laying on him, remembering the heat he radiated, the way he smelled, and youre like u//w//u but also :OOOO oh no youve got it bad

and you dont realize it but a few hours pass and everyone else is kinda like hm we might have made her mad lets give her some time to herself but hyunjin feels bad because what if youre upset at HIM poor baby

and so he goes down to the lake and he sits down next to you

“sorry if i made you uncomfortable. i know you said we should share the sleeping bag but i probably embarrassed you this morning”

and you,,, youre not only in love but also WHY IS HE BLAMING HIMSELF and you just,,, profess your love

and you just go on and on about how you really had a crush on him since you were tots and how hes just too nice and too sweet and his heart is too big for his chest and how he needs to look out for himself just as much as how he looks out for you but hes such a DUMMY for never realizing that youve had heart eyes for him this entire time

and youre just ranting about how uch you love him and you dont see the love in his eyes and so he shuts you up by giving you the sweetest kiss youve ever had in your LIFE

and hes like “i love you too angel :^)”

and you two walk back to camp, hand in hand, as persi SCREECHES and screams that theyll send you the photos that sparked this beautiful relationship

everyone is hollering but you and hyunjin just smile at each other, content

in retaliation to miss parker dae’s decision to write some persimin im writing some parkchan so bring it on, bitch boy

how do yall meet ?? its because u were both at the park uwu

u and persi were playing on the swings and oru boy bang chan arrived with his kids and !! he might be the leader but he Wants The Swings !!! but persi is in their own world so you, being a Kind Person (not because hes super cute or anything) gave up ur swing for him and decided to play on the monkey bars instead

and it goes like this for a few hours !! its u, persi, and the boys playing around the park and having the time of ur lives !!! but then the ice cream truck comes and chan, not forgetting that you gave up ur prized swing for him, went over and bought u both some !!! and its the expensive soft serve ice cream too and ur like BITCH WAIT LEMME PAY U BACK

and hes like no !! u gave up ur swing for me !! im repaying u for ur kindness

persi and the kids in the background: huehuehue lovebirds

anyways u two playfully bicker about who owes who (chan insists ur both equal but u insist u owe him) before it gets really,,,, really dark our and u all have to head home and chan, smooth as hecking EVER, says he needs ur number so yall can settle this matter later and who are u to deny this hot guy with a cute accent ??? so u give him ur number and ur like “i WILL repay u”

and he gives u the cutest grin and is like “sure you will ! its a date” and he leaves and u fucking SCREAM

and he keeps u to it yall go on an ice cream date later and u treat this time !! tho he did try to sneakily pay when u left for the bathroom but you caught him in the act and he just,,, walks back to his seat and ur like :^) before paying for the two of you !!

also yall take some cute pics but he insists on having his mask on (you think its for the fashion but its bc he doesnt want to get caught by dispatch oopsies)

and this becomes a monthly thing !! you guys go out to a new ice cream place and try different flavors and stuff once a month as a date but also yall enjoy going on different kinds of dates as well :^)

such as exploring !!! chan told you his job sometimes forces him to stay up rlly late and ur like :( oh no bb but then hes like BUT LETS GO ON A NIGHT ADVENTURE and ur like oh HECK yeah !!! and you guys explore the city at night

also u both speak english and korean so sometimes yall just,, randomly switch between the two in the middle of ur sentences ! anyways uwu

this is maybe three months?? after yall started going on dates and yall are stargazing from the rooftop of the tallest building there is in the area and ur eyes are sparkling, looking at the sky as some soft music plays from ur playlist

and chan just blurts out an “i love you” and you whip your head because !!! holy shit !! and hes like “please, please be my girlfriend” and ur like omg YES !!!

and thats how yall start dating !! but he feels guilty bc hes assumed that u dont know that hes an idol and he calls you and hes like “ive been keeping a secret from you” and ur like “ur an idol? dw i been knew but ur a person before u r an idol !! it changes nothing between us” and his heart hecking BURSTS with his love for you bc !! u dont care abt his career u care about him primarily and he just LOVES YOU
