Conclusive list of reasons why Nynaeve is best girl:

-has never taken anyone’s shit ever in her life.

-Lanaeve series long pining will they won’t they doomed romance stuff. You get it.

-she’s so fucking funny for real. Local 25 year old acts old and jaded and tells her maybe three or four years younger friends to respect their elders, wishes she had gray hair already so people will take her old woman coding seriously.

-spends several books trying to make herself angry in increasingly absurd ways in order to successfully do magic. She is the second most powerful being on the planet and she can’t do anything with it unless she’s in a strop.

-while being the second most powerful being on the planet, says fuck you to every other avenue for that power and stays devoted to using her crazy high power level to heal.

-refuses to show deference to any royalty she meets, eventually becomes royalty herself. Karma.

-the Moghedien thing. Oh my god the Moghedien thing. Here comes this ancient and powerful evil immortal out to play with the regular humans and cause chaos and almost immediately gets nerfed by a villager with some jewelry. Outstanding showstopping, one of the funniest defeats of the forsaken by far.

Alright folks, I know i’ve been rather absent since the whole Tumblr Apocalypse thing, but here’s some Proof that I haven’t just been sitting on My Ass:

Announcing The Oracle!

A couple Months back, while I was working on the Mutophage, I had the idea stroke me of trying to play DND using a Deck of Tarot Cards in place of dice. Seemed like a silly idea, but as it happens sometimes, it stuck. I had seen a few classes out there that tried to make use of a deck of tarot cards in same way. but in most cases it was something along the lines of “I play this card to cast this spell” and felt more like a TGC than like reading tarot. I wanted to make something more integral. The Oracle is My take on support-centric class. By reading and manipulating fate, they are able to change the tide of battle, granting boons to their allies, and casting certain doom on their foes. This class is built from the ground up with the intent of feeling like an actual tarot reading when played. Having read tarot for almost 15 years, I worked to make sure that everything flows naturally in the same way as an actual reading, and in a way that won’t upset your deck. In fact, I designed the class to work as a great exercise in getting to know a new deck, or just learning the essentials tarot in the first place. If you love DND, and you enjoy Reading Tarot, you should definitely give it a read.

I want to start this off with I stand by the victims, I stand by Achievement Hunter.

I keep seeing posts saying "The Mad King is Dead". That, to me, is not good enough. Even in death one is remembered. I don't want that monster having anymore of my memory.

I looked up to him for nearly 10 years. I have followed Achievement Hunter since the first Minecraft came out. He is a man that, from my tiny viewing screen, I thought to myself "I could marry someone like him.".

Well look where we are now. I am hurt and saddened, but also feel nothing. I feel more pain for the other members and for the victims. If anyone ever needs any thing my DMs are open.

So instead of "The Mad King is Dead."

To me, my final personal statement on the matter is....

"The Mad King is Forgotten."

Do y'all remember way back when, Gavin used to be terrified of RH. I know it wasn't anywhere related to what is going on now....but maybe the lad had good instincts.
