That specific relationship with your dad were he’s a really good person and you know he loves you with all his heart and would do anything for you but you just don’t talk and you feel sad because you know he wants to be involved in your life but his own childhood trauma causes him to not know how to talk to you so he spends most of his time alone

if you see other women as competition, you really need to check yourself and figure out why you aren’t comfortable with who you are as an individual. because once you figure out what’s different and special about you and realize that you’re offering something uniquely special to the world, you don’t worry about what another woman can take away from you
