Barbie in The Nutcracker is THE Barbie film that started it all. I wanted to design a necklace that featured the heroine herself in her signature sparkly pink tutu-- and yes, the dress on each pendant has little flecks of glitter. Princess Clara wears a heart-shaped locket throughout the movie so I decided to incorporate that on the tiny charm by the chain. It's truly a must-have for any Barbie movie fan🩷

Ok, i just wanna say that I adored the live action! Hearing Halle sing "Part of Your World" brought tears to my eyes🥹 Any doubt I had with her casting immediately went away. She IS Ariel❤️
I drew this as soon as I got home from the theaters. I paid close attention to every little detail on Ariel so I can draw her faithfully. She has scales on her upper body that faintly glimmer under the light and I just found it so beautiful✨️ The way her tail and hair moved was just memerizing to see. Lots of love and care went into this drawing; feel free to zoom in☺️
At the end of day, Ariel is more than the way she looks-- we know her for her beautiful voice, her strong spirit, curious nature and burning determination-- this little mermaid has all that🧜🏿♀️
