Digimon Polaris is an 18+ (SFW) semi-lit story-driven RP group, where medieval fantasy meets Digimon! Instead of there being the human and digital worlds, our story takes us to the vast, mysterious world known as DigiGaia, where humans and digimon have coexisted in the last few centuries.

We begin in the secluded region of Witchelny, or more specifically, Polaris, a town situated inside of a mountain, and the only place in the world for digimon to learn magic. While humans can’t exactly learn magic, there are a variety of ways to contribute, be it for progression, discovery, and above all, camaraderie. Our goal in Polaris is to embark on crazy adventures, explore a vast world, and to forge deep connections, both in and out of character.

Digimon Polaris offers to you: ◩ An unfolding story lovingly crafted with custom lore, and an expansive world filled with wonder, danger, and mystery, all waiting to be discovered. ◩ A currency system where activity in RPs and events is rewarded, and there are shops to make a variety of purchases, including different digivolution methods. ◩ The ability to play either a tamer-digimon duo, or even a solo digimon. You also have the choice to play canon digimon or digifakes! ◩ The option to either draw your character application or write it out! Writers will not be left behind, and templates are readily available! ◩ Collaborative crowdfunding projects that upon completion, grants everyone a variety of benefits, including main plot progression and exploration opportunities. ◩ Optional missions that help expand the world of DigiGaia. ◩ Simple holiday-themed events. ◩ A modest, but responsive mod team that will do their best to weed out the problems and maintain a safe environment. ◩ And above all, a friendly and welcoming community that shares their love in all things Digimon!

I think it is incredible that President Biden is actually feeling the pressure from our protests. No, he hasn't done everything he needs to and he hasn't redeemed himself for his role in all this, but the fact that he was caught on a hot mic saying Netanyahu needs a "come to Jesus meeting" about how horribly he's treating Palestinians? That's incredible. All our protests and boycotts have not been in vain. If we weren't making trouble, these governments could keep pretending that they've done no wrong- but they can't escape the blame.

It's encouraging. When you feel like our protests are falling on deaf ears, remember that McDonalds started the year with a loss of over a million dollars, Starbucks fell below it's quarterly sales and is considering closing locations, and people are paying attention- they're changing their opinions. And while these numbers may not be groundbreaking, they are the signs of real effects. Real change.

Never Shut Up About Palestine. Never let them think we are silent and complicit. Let history remember that our governments did not stand for us in this moment, and we did everything we could to make them listen.

it's still exhausting to see the internet landscape nowadays, but I got my head on straight again. There's only so much running we can do. I'm still gonna be primarily focused on my IRL tho.

I'm tired man. I might just outright quit at this rate. Life became far more of an obligation lately anyway but that doesn't change the fact that I feel pain of wanting to share my art and stories with the world, but the world is making it harder to do that (well....shitty CEOs are, at least)

I won't judge anyone for staying here or migrating to other sites, because this almost feels like a game of "pick the evil you're willing to bear with", and I recognize some don't have much choice due to sustaining their livelihoods here.

looking at (vetted) gofundmes for people trying to escape palestine and i don't know how many of you actually click on the gofundme links you reblog but i would like to point out, for what it's worth, just how amazing it is that so many have raised so much money. it may overall feel like a drop in the ocean but the fact that several gofundmes have raised tens of thousands of dollars is amazing. it is so expensive to leave gaza right now, and people still need money after they escape. but regardless of what propaganda the US, UK, canada, and other western nations are trying to pump out, people across the world are doing what they can to help these people survive. many of them are still very far from their goals (like this one and this one and this one) and some of them are very close to high goals (like this one), and some of them have reached almost double their original goal.

and that's not even addressing direct aid or organizations that take continuous donations for distribution of food, menstrual products, etc. the PCRF has raised $16,000,000 of their target goal of $20,000,000 to fund current aid and long-term relief efforts in gaza. ANERA's febuary 13th update discusses the material ways they helped palestinians today:

my point is, it often feels like the world is turning a blind eye to palestine. but i would like to point out that there is an important difference between "the world" and "western political leaders and media narratives". a breathtaking amount of real people, the people who make up the world, are trying to help. in the face of israel attempting to commit genocide, the world is saying No. These people deserve to live. and literally sending millions of dollars internationally, through the internet connection that israel has desperately been trying to destroy.

it may not feel like it matters in the grand scheme of things. but to the people who get fresh clothes, or a hot meal, or blankets, or the kids who get new toys, or to the people who are able to bring their families to safety, it matters to them. go make someone's day better. i've linked so many options with ways to do that.
