Huge Cylinder Shape UFO Over Wildfire
Date Of UFO Sighting: November 13, 2018
Location: Westlake Village, CA
Source: KTLA
Whatever this thing was it’s really massive! Compare it to the passing airplanes.
Witnesse Description of UFO Sighting: “To clarify, I witnessed what looks like a UFO on live TV. This is the footage as I filmed it from my TV screen.
I was at home watching the KTLA morning news as I was getting ready for work. The live news story being filmed from a helicopter was about a heavy brush fire in the coastal mountains in nearby Westlake Village, CA.
As the video linked above shows, at approximately 9:24 AM (11/13/2018) the footage inadvertently appeared to show an extremely large flying object traveling in the distance beyond the smoke plumes, not far from the planes and helicopters attempting to put out the fires near Lake Sherwood. The camera was facing southwest towards the Pacific Ocean.
The object appeared rectangular in shape and moved steadily from the right to the left of the screen until it disappeared off screen. The photographer must not have noticed it since he did not follow it and stayed focused on the fires.
I immediately noticed this anomaly and feverishly hit rewind on my digital cable box so I could record the broadcast to my phone. After playing it back a few times, I was convinced this could only be a UFO.
I attempted to contact the the news station and they responded saying the pilot and photographer both claim that it’s a ship out in the ocean and that it isn’t the sky. And because of perspective and the way that the helicopter was moving, it appears to be moving faster than it actually is. While covering the fires this past week and last, they said that there is a shipping lane out there and they’ve seen dozens of cargo ships go through there.
As a photographer and video professional myself, I must respectfully disagree with their conclusion. I did some calculations on this and their explanations simply don’t add up…
First of all, there is very little (if any) parallax movement between the mountains being filmed, so we can safely assume the helicopter is somewhat stationary during this segment. Due to perspective, objects far out in the distance would not noticeably gain speed the way it does here.
Secondly, most container ships are about 1000ft in length. I timed the distance which the object in question travels it’s own length (2.5 seconds) and if it is a container ship, then it’s traveling at 272 MPH or about 236 knots. Even small planes max out at about 200 knots.
It just doesn’t add up.”

Augusta Victoria, placed in service in 1889 and named for Empress Augusta Victoria, wife of German Emperor Wilhelm II, was the name ship of the Augusta Victoria series and the first of a new generation of luxury Hamburg America Line ocean liners. She was the first European liner with twin propellers and when first placed in service, the fastest liner in the Atlantic trade. She was also the first luxury liner at Hamburg America, introducing the concept of the “floating hotel”; she had a rococo stairhall, illuminated by a milky way of pear-shaped prisms and naked light bulbs clutched by gilded cherubs, a reception court choked by palm trees and a dark and gothic smoking room. In 1897 she was rebuilt and lengthened and in 1904 she was sold to the Imperial Russian Navy, which renamed her Kuban.

The Colossi of Memnon are 2 sandstone statues of the Egyptian Pharoah Amenhotep III which have stood for the past 3,400 years in the Theban Necropolis, just west of the city of Luxor in Egypt. They were built to stand guard at the entrance of Amenhotep’s memorial temple, little of which remains today. Its foundation was too close to the Nile, and slowly eroded away over the centuries.
At 18 meters tall (60 feet) and weigh approximately 720 tons each, the Colossi are all that remain, but both have suffered extensive damage over the years. While the southern statue still remains a single piece of stone, its northern counterpart is decidedly broken, the result of a supposed earthquake around 27 BC. But after splitting in half, the statue was reputed to “sing” on occasion – usually within an hour or two of sunrise, most often right at dawn, and most often in February and March. Local legend had it that hearing the “Vocal Memnon” (as it had been nicknamed) would bring good luck, but also inspire some kind of oracular power or moment of foresight in the listener. In any case, the legend became known outside of Egypt, and the colossi were visited by a steady stream of travellers, not the least of which including various Roman Emperors.
There have been several explanations for the phenomenon ranging from man made to natural. In the case of the latter, it was likely the sound of dew evaporating from inside the inherently porous sandstone. In any case The last recorded instance of anyone hearing the sound was in 196, though it is said that around 199, Roman Emperor Septimius Severus attempted to rebuild the northern statue as a means to gain favour with the oracle.

We now classify these creatures as Manta Birostris, or gigantic manta ray. They have the largest brain of all the world’s fishes. Despite its massive size, the giant manta ray feeds on some of the tiniest organisms in the ocean. Giant manta rays often jump clear of the water, possibly as a form of communication or even play.
