I don't know if its just me, but I really dislike the popular opinion that if Mari got akumitized, she would be a darker version of Ladybug. If this did happen, everyone would know she was ladybug de-akumitized. It makes me think people only focus on Ladybug than actually Marinette. If she was akumitized, I would want the episode to begin where she fails her sewing class or something similar, becomes upset about it, and becomes a designer akuma. It really fits her personality.

I feel like one of the only people in the fandom that says "Cat Noir" like they do in the dub 😅 everyone else says "Chat Noir" which kind of throws me off considering they're speaking English. 😭

I roleplay as Chat Noir as an escape, and I think I understand why Adrien's so different as Chat Noir. Alternatively, meeting Ladybugs makes me unreasonably happy, and I feel guilty because it's like I'm taking advantage of them.

Don't feel guilty, Nonnie. Lots of people who roleplay develop a more emotional connection with their muse. I RP as Marinette and Ladybug a lot, and as someone with anxiety who struggles with self-doubt, I can really connect with her character and I love it when I find Chat Noirs who mesh well with my interpretation of LB. As long as you're able to distinguish reality from fiction, it's totally fine. Just make sure to respect your roleplay partners as people as well rather than just the character they play.- Mod Mari

Chloe is one of my favorite characters, and if she ever gets her shit together, I'd love to see some cool interactions with her and Marinette and Adrien. We were all little mean kids when we were young, so it'll be cool to see her growing out of it.

I cannot stand the fanfiction version of Alya. She is often portrayed as pushy, kinda selfish, bossy, nosy and controlling. Like I understand that Marinette is her friend and that when Adrien mess up, you have to help, but give the girl some space!

To be honest, I ship ladynoir not because they kissed in episode 10 but because Ladybug is more calm around chat noir than Adrien and they constantly flirt with each other.

I think saying Chloe was bee theme clothes and stuff is not only weak evidence but actually feels like warning lights saying "Do not give her this! She's already a Queen Bee. It will not help her!" It might make her worse because of all the bee stuff and would feel like she was entitled to it.

Well I mean, Marinette owns a lot of polka-dot/ladybug things and yet she’s doing a fine job wielding the miraculous given to her so I don’t see how Chloé’s pattern preferences would devalue her as a hero. On that note, after episodes like Antibug, she’s pretty much due for a redemption arc. Being Queen Bee might go to her head at first but in the long term, it will eventually help her grow as a person.

The thing here is that Marinette isn't perfect. She isn't supposed to be completely flawless! She's a lovesick hothead who's trying her best to be a role model to Paris and a friend. The difference between her and Chloé or her and Lila (as of now) is that Marinette learns from her mistakes and she tries to fix them! Yes, she hurt Max in Le Gamer but she didn't do it deliberately! She just wanted to spend some time with her crush which is a completely normal thing to do! She saw her wrongdoing and in the end she made up for it! She gave Max his spot back. In Volpina, she realised where she went wrong and she tried to apologise. Yes, Lila didn't accept the apology but she still tried to solve the problem! Also, as far as her feelings for Adrien go, they aren't something I would call unhealthy. What she does is very normal teenage behaviour. All the photos she has appear to just be magazine clippings and it isn't unusual for a girl (or guy for that matter) to admire their crush from afar. Marinette is just a teenage girl trying to make her way through life who just so happens to have a crush with a lot of sources accessible to her to help her fawn over him. I'm not saying that you have to ship them or that you have to like the character but I'd think for a moment before labelling perfectly normal feelings as unhealthy and villanising her for making mistakes.

In my opinion, I think the meaning of “biggest revelation” in the second season means three things: Or can be who is Hawk Moth, the appearance of Adrien’s mom or when Adrien and Marinette will find out who is behind the mask of each other. We have these three possibilities, and i really think that these three could hapen in a episode of two parts.
