Check out the video of us performing the trimmed down version of “Oceanic Heritage” at The Red Knight in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia during the Atlantic Annihilation Tour last year, over at the Concert Vault YouTube channel.
Got to visit my fav coffee shop south of the border today. Haven’t been to Grindcore House in 5 years so it was cool to come back. Definitely a place worth checking out if you’re ever in Philadelphia.
I’m just going to leave this amazing poster for our comeback show designed by our very own Erin here, for posterity. It deserves to see the dark of night.
By the way, in case you haven’t done it yet, go and give Erin’s booking alias @pissxhouse on Instagram a follow. Their next shindig is coming up at Bâtiment 7 on April 18th with Hakapik, Typeface, Lobotomite, and Artificial Scarcity from the US!
Hey thanks @metalhead-brainrot! I appreciate it. I personally would recommend the EP NWONFLDBHM as a starting point. It’s short and to the point. My last record, Oceanic Heritage, is probably my most sprawling and detailed release though. It’s easily the best thing I’ve ever put out, though I’m sure every artist feels that way about their newest album.
Dropped a couple of live tracks over on our Bandcamp today. "Alexander Bay" and "Mystery Veteran" recorded at The Dank Basement in Glovertown, NL during our Maritimes tour last year. Thanks to Aaron for letting us do this in basement and for using his old school VHS camcorder to do it with.
One of our very first shows as a live band was with our old homies in Stand Alone back when William of the Green Woods was still our live guitarist. It was great to link up once more and share a bill with them again, especially at a greasy, sweaty house show like this one. High octane melodic hardcore punk.
It was a pleasure to share the stage (floor?) with Ghidorah for their second ever show. Been pals with these guys for a while and it was very cool to witness their brand of dirty, pitch-shifted grindcore in the mortifying flesh. Great riffs. Great drums. Disgusting vocals.
Thank you to everyone who came out to catch our return to the frontlines at The Rat Trap on Saturday. It was an absolute fucking blast and we cannot wait to get back out there and spread our dark wings of foreboding over the rest of the country.
Thank you to Ghidorah and Stand Alone for playing with us and kicking ass, to Piss House Productions for booking and organizing, to Erin for the initial poster design and Marshall for the updated poster design, as well as to Justin for filming our set.
Next show is May 26th at Piranha Bar with Spiter, Desolus, and Shroud! Catch you there.
Hey hey! It’s Bandcamp Friday! That means that today is the perfect day to head over to our Bandcamp page at mistwalker.bandcamp.com and pre-order yourself a CD copy of my most recent album ‘Oceanic Heritage’, coming out through @syrupmooserecords!
We’ve got to sell 50 copies in order to cover the cost of production so now is the time to get yours!
