i would love to know what you try to focus on when drawing senshi. ive been struggling to draw him especially because im not used to drawing characters with large beards
i think it's definitely his head shape, nose and eyebrows ... also to make sure where his neck is under all that hair because then trying to pose him becomes awful
i always reduce his nose and eyes to a triangle and circles and then start to mold him from there LOL also key element that his eyebrows are really close to his eyes and he looks kinda angry all the time but he's just like that. also that his cheekbone is really pronounced? and his head is a little squished. I used to draw his head too long before. Also about the beard is go crazy with it tbh just make sure to know what direction?? the hair goes
The moustache is still my enemy but it helps with expressiveness!!! hope this helps and if it doesn't im sorry. here's some recent senshis where i wasnt biased by having been looking at manga panels for 30 minutes. i like senshi a lot

What makes me crazy about the Nightmares chapter/episode is that Marcille doesn’t just see Laios as a dog, she sees him as Dustrag. He’s Dustrag, his childhood dog. His childhood dog that was the unwanted, accidental mutt puppy of a village neighbor that his father begrudgingly took in. Guys he’s fucking Dustrag

You know, I don't see a lot of people talking about this moment in the TF2 comics right here, seconds after Sniper realizes he's actually from New Zealand. Does anyone else think about how freaking insecure Sniper must have been growing up?
I know it has a somewhat comedic tone but I can't help but think about poor Sniper as a kid wondering why he was so different but never knowing why. With other Aussies being huge and muscular he must have thought something was wrong with him. And I feel like you can actually see the relief on his face in the bottom panel.
Also, side note, I love the bit about him throwing rocks from a tree which absolutely foreshadows his future as a sniper. His whole thing is shooting people from far away because he was never built to go on the offensive.
