OMG YES CANDY HERE WE GOOOO
So I’ve actually thought about this a lot, and because of the style Pendergast has I assume Beckett’s high school and Middle school were similar (rich boy tm) and so he had the whole uniform, class schedule, ya know.
But his favorite part of the school year is when his sister came back right before winter break.
She would bring him presents from college/travels and help him with his studies.
He would be really risky and try to preform big and dangerous spells, but Katrina was there to stop him and tell him he isn’t ready, which I think would be the reason he became so hellbent on not having any help in college, he wanted to do things his own way no matter how risky they could be.
Another thing he most likely did during grade school was sports.(yoga is cool and all but How else would he get that gorgeous body automatically) Things like PE and extra circular sports were one of the reasons thy let him into Pendergast. (He even got offered a place in the Theif team, that’s why in BK1 he’s not as impressed with it while they’re at the beginner level)
I like to think that because he does yoga, he did Swimming as well. (Swimming, like Yoga, uses the whole entire body to push through the water.) And so whenever he didn’t have any homework to do but was still stressed, he found Swimming as an anxiety reliever and it worked pretty well.
As for relationships...
Yeah this man was not having any of that.
He went on dates that his parents had set up for him, but all the girls he met were always the same and boring rich girls with no talent or personality. They just had influential parents.
That’s why when he met Ellie, her charisma knocked him out of the park. But when she attempted to help him he turned into a tsundere like super fastt.

Summary: Here’s a little adventure as to how Tim and Beckttt are doing...

It’s been 5 months since Ellie and Beckett first started their official relationship. Kane had been defeated and Ellie was home from her internship with Beckett’s sister Katrina.
Beckett has both met Ellie’s mom and adoptive parents, and she has met his parents as well. They were very accepting of their relationship and were all very kind towards them.
Well... all except one.
Tim.
Beckett knew Tim was extremely important to Ellie so he made it a point to make friends with the Gourge.
All attempts resulted in failure.
At first, Beckett thought it would be good to hold the small animal and get him a snack.
Not only can’t he hold Tim, he has to have a giant chicken leg handy for him to even get close to Beckett.
“Chicken legs are the only way to this man’s heart.” Is what Eliie says whenever it results into bribery.
Beckett and Ellie were going to the beach for a small vacation day with Tim.
“Maybe this would be a good chance to convince Tim to like you! You guys can play with the ball I brought!” She plucks a small, miniature version of a beach ball from her bag.
“Maybe so, I’m running out of ideas so I’ll take what I can get.” He kisses the top of her head.
“Ready?”
“Ready.”
A few minutes later, Beckett and Ellie walked through the portal and onto the warm sand of the beach, making Tim appear On Ellie’s shoulder and squeal in delight. He hops on top of her head and looks around in awe.
“I’m glad you like it Tim.” Beckett pats his back, making Tim give the strange human a look.
“Hey, That wasn’t too bad...” Ellie pets his head.
“I agree, it’s a start for today.” He smiles.
Ellie puts her bag down and rolls out their beach mat. Beckett goes through the bag and grabs the miniature beach ball which makes Tim turns his attention over from the sea to the ball. Beckett smirks and tosses the ball right over his head and onto the sand, causing him to jump and chase it to the landing spot.
“Pass it back here!” He calls for him.
Tim blinks a few times before grabbing it with his tounge and carrying it to his feet.
Ellie smiles and claps her hands. “I think he starting to warm up a bit more!!”
“That’s good because he’s harder to convince then your parents ever were.” Beckett chuckles and throws the ball, making Tim waddle even faster. Beckett goes to sit down by Ellie under their umbrella set up. He wraps his arms around her and nuzzles his nose to her cheek, making her giggle.
Just as he was about to speak, he feels the cool touch of plastic st his feet and looks down to find Tim nudging it towards him, urging him to play.
“Duty calls.” Ellie says booping his nose. “I’ll set up our picnic while you hang out with him.” She pats his leg and gets up to grab their picnic basket. Beckett sighs and looks down at the small animal.
“Alright then, let’s go.” He grabs the ball and walks out slightly closer to the sand to sit down and play catch. Tim gets so wound up that he spins in a circle every so often. Cute
After a few minutes, Ellie calls them under the shade for food, letting Beckett feed Tim’s favorites to him, and overall just enjoying the day in peace.
The sun was setting, casting a beautiful glow on Ellie’s face, making Beckett stare a little longer then intended.
“Hey mister, quit staring my personality is up here.” Ellie teases, tapping her head. Tim had fell asleep on the blanket and now it was just the two of them enjoying the evening.
Ellie lays her head on Beckett’s shoulder and lets out a cute yawn. They had decided to call it a day. A very successful one at that. With Tim and Beckett growing closer, more joy filled Ellie’s heart with warmth and happiness at the sight of their friends and familiars becoming family.

Summer Break!
Hey cuties! I’m finally done with all my exams and homework!! I’m glad to report they all went amazing, and I’m ready to hop back into writing! Over this summer break, I have writing assignments to complete and turn in at the beginning of the year, but I hope to focus more of my attention on Tumblr writing, something that I really haven’t been doing lately 🥲
As for up coming fics, I have: The Elementalists, Open Heart, and Bloodbound all in the works! As for my series Vacationing with Distance, I still on the fence as to wether I should discontinue it, One shots are a way bigger thing for me and something I enjoy doing, so time will tell 😗

Following up on my Beckett ask, could you write a reunion fic, like where Beckett and MC reunite at the beginning of a new school year with
10 - lifting someone out of excitement

author’s note: it’s been a while that i’ve written for these characters, so i hope i did it justice. This takes place after book 2 but before winters past. i hope you enjoy!

summary: beckett is a little nervous about seeing his girlfriend again after a summer apart.
reunion
beckett fiddled with his cufflinks for what was probably the third time that morning. was he nervous?
harringtons don’t get nervous, he thought to himself, smoothing out the nonexistent wrinkles on the front of his blazer.
he did his morning yoga, so he should be feeling pretty relaxed right now.
and he got a headstart on outlining the plan for his independent study.
he had meetings set up with his professors and advisor to discuss his plans for the year and school hadn’t even started yet.
he really had nothing to be nervous about.
except, of course, the one thing – or rather, person – in his life that he could never quite seem to figure out (and anyone who knew beckett harrington knew he never left a puzzle unsolved), was celeste.
his girlfriend.
of course, his normal approach to puzzles and new challenges was to practically drown himself in learning as much as he could.
and while he would thoroughly enjoy taking a studious approach to a relationship, celeste wasn’t someone you could study or “figure out.”
she was wild, untamed, and endlessly warm.
she was perfect.
and he still could not believe she said yes.
he frowned at his reflection before making his way to penn square, where the pend pals had all agreed to meet up.
what if celeste changed her mind?
his brow furrowed in thought and his gaze fell to the floor as he continued walking, having long memorized the path to the shops on the other side of the square.
they had only been officially dating for a few months. and spent the majority of that time apart, given their respective internships.
they talked often, but this was still going to be the first time they’d be seeing each other since last semester.
“beckett!”
he looked up to see celeste running across the square towards him, her face beaming even more brightly than the early morning sun, if that were possible.
everything else seemed to fade away, so in his mind, it was possible.
she leaped into his arms and he wrapped his tightly around her waist, holding her against him so she wouldn’t lose her balance. she wrapped her arms around his neck and he swung her around, eliciting a melodious laugh that made his gaze soften and heartbeat quicken.
before he could set her back down on the ground, he kissed her neck and worked his way across her jaw to the corner of her mouth. she tilted her head toward him until their lips met. he nipped at her bottom lip and nudged her mouth open with his tongue, eager to taste as much of her as he could.
“ugh, it’s too early in the morning for this, get a room!” atlas’ annoyed voice rang loud and clear across the square.
beckett chuckled and lowered his forehead to hers. celeste nuzzled her nose against his before pulling away and grabbing his hand.
“i love you,” she murmured, turning to follow their friends across the square.
beckett smiled and squeezed her hand. “i love you, too.”
