well !  this isn’t a fun post to write, nor is it going to be fun to read because the topic of non-consensual sex is not FUN. it should not be treated that way. morally, it’s obvious why writing stuff like this is wrong in more ways than one and it’s so incredibly stupid to still have people polluting this website with something so disgusting, and passing it off as fun.

roleplay / fic writing / writing in general is in majority for FUN ;  it’s also a hobby, a hobby is also in majority for fun.  INCORPORATING THE TOPIC OF RAPE INTO A THING YOU DO FOR ENJOYMENT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  same as if you are producing art / graphic images of such ON A PUBLIC WEBSITE FULL OF SURVIVORS ;   you’re disgusting.  

i’m here to say ,  AS A RAPE SURVIVOR MYSELF that this is an uncomfortable post to make, and every person is different but i want to give you all a vague idea of what it feels like as someone suffering from EXTREME TRAUMA, being forced to relive and rethink it over something as simple as a single tumblr post.

mentions and shared experiences between survivors are not the same as coming across a thread explicitly outlining the non-consensual exploration of a character. in such thread is described for every moment the experience of the trauma but also how the VICTIM FEELS ;  now think about the worst thing that has happened to you off the top of your head - now imagine RELIVING EVERY SECOND OF IT BECAUSE OF SOMETHING SOMEONE ELSE THOUGHT IT WAS OKAY TO WRITE ON A PUBLIC WEBSITE. 

 “but its tagged” i hear you say “just blacklist it!” again, it takes one post ; one tiny thing to send someone into that downward spiral and sometimes ? blacklisting isn’t always the answer. god, and if you’re going to give me that “but its in mainstream media!” bullshit you can fuck right off -  tumblr is an escape, for most including myself. a lot of us stay disconnected from mainstream to avoid such topics 

if you’re going to decidedly write and HURT other members of this community by continuing to abuse people who are just here to write and enjoy themselves without having to be vigilant of when they’re going to have to relive their experience all over again.

im so excited for kori!!! i always made it a point to make her amazingly kind and warm and just full of light, and even innocence. but the thing is, she knows. she knows how humans work after a few months of living there, it's not that she isn't surprised but it's the fact that she an intelligent woman! she just believes in the human race so much because they're the one alien species that looks like her, they have the same structural anatomy and everything. she just wants to believe that people will get better and she keeps doing so and then humans disappoint her and here she is. still bright, still full of utter light, and she's still out here hoping LIKE no one deserves her.
