Hi!! I absolutely loved writing the spirt of prophecy, and you’re right I did hide it. I’ve been working on it lately, and do plan to eventually put it back up! The writing in it was just making me cringe at first, so I just wanted to sharpen it up!

This is my thing with Percabeth. Every fanfiction or “incorrect quote,” has them dumbing Percy down to fit the standard of dumb boy/smart girl. It has always annoyed my soul.
Percy is so smart. He’s been able to do so many things without Annabeth, and all the fandom wants to do with him is make him seem dumb.
I also agree with the person above. Sometimes fanfictions make it seem like Annabeth just hates Percy’s out-going personality. Like all she need’s to do is ‘reign him in’ and then she’ll like him. Twitter especially does that too.
Like no, Annabeth loved him for that out-going and dumb humor of his. She needed someone that complimented her. Her as a stoic (sometimes) and serious girl, with a boy who’s sarcastic, funny, and out-going.

i think one of the reasons i find jily hard to engage with is that in so many fics (and posts) about their dynamic, it makes it seem like lily genuinely dislikes james.
like major parts of his personality. she just finds him obnoxious and irritating. and people will be like “he matured and they got together” but that makes me feel gross.
like i’m supposed to root for this couple when lily didn’t even want him? like she doesn’t even seem like she’s won over half the time. it’s like “james changed to fit my standards and now i like him.”
idk it makes james unbearable and it makes lily seem like she’s either pity dating james or emotionally manipulating him. except she barely had agency in any of the fics so she’s just existing as james’s love interest/wife

Y’all remember this? Yeah, it has six thousand words written down right now and I am nowhere near done with this. After plotting so much out in my brain over the years, it’s hard to write everything down.
But! It’s coming along, I’m really loving it. I know the ship definitely will get me hate, but that’s what fanfiction is for. For weird ass ship-pairings and making shit up.
Anyways! Reading the books is coming along too! I’m developing some new friendships within the series, that I think you guys will like!
This is a genuine question for y’all. Whilst I am working on my main fic (reading the books) how would you guys feel abt a 6-11k one shot from a brain rot I’ve been having for awhile. (Percy Jackson Fic)
Like If I never write it down I will genuinely go insane. It’s completely self-indulgent no matter why, but I want to know what you guys think.
It’s a pairing that… well you definitely don’t ever see it. It’s the multi relationship fan fiction, it would be a five person pairing but soulmates!
It has plot bc it’s been marinating in my head for the past 6 months.
This won’t stop me from working on the main fan fiction by the way. I just need this fic idea plotted so it can stop taking up my brain.

Ao3 subscriptions are so fucking wild to me. Every time I write my silly fanfictions and post them 124 people get an email just to let them know that this idiot is posting their fanfictions again. I send 124 people an email every time I write smut. Imagine sending 124 physical letters out just to be like “hello everyone, I put some guys we made up in our heads through the horrors again.” Absolutely absurd. I am kissing all of you on the lips.
