I love how they have such different reactions to meeting their dear old dad.
After everything John has done, I feel their reactions are more than valid, in each their own ways.
Still can't wait for the fifth and unfortunately last novel aaaah--
Seriously though whenever I read about Will I imagine this ashblonde haired guy with these baby blue bambi-eyes being all adorable but as soon as you piss him off; bam, run for the hills.
I like Will but he terrified me the moment he turned for the worst and seemed to snap, starting to go against Jacob. Then again I get the whole "standing in the shadow of the eldest sibling", also from my own sibling perspective since I have younger siblings and one of them once told me they felt pretty jealous towards me.
ok but jacob鈥檚 & will鈥檚 vastly different reactions to meeting their father again after 14 years are lowkey funny to me chdnjdjdjs like jacob is going through the 5 stages of grief & ends with righteous anger, meanwhile will鈥檚 immediate reaction is just violence 馃槀

Newest addition to my Reckless/MirrorWorld themed shelf
Since today I've a new addition to my Reckless/MirrorWorld themed novel series shelf. It's adorable!
It already has a decorative chest statue (gifted to me by a sibling of mine), an old key which is hidden behind the novels and was part of a Saint Nicholas Day surprise I recieved this year and a legit swan feather which I found this summer (while making sure the swans themselves were somewhere else at my neighbourhood and I actually picked the most clean looking and biggest feather; I did pick it up while my hand was in a plastic bag and made sure to give it a good clean when I came home with it).
But now it also has (a) Fox :)
Not to mention it's part of my 2022 Christmas haul.
The pictures belong to me, obviously.

Finished Reckless 4
I finished Reckless 4 not too long ago today and let me tell you:
It was fantastic.
It was mindblowing.
And I cried over specific chapters.
Again.
Kudos to you Cornelia Funke. :')
I want to read all four novels all over again now.
