I really hope Jack Edwards chokes. "Oh look we made Dostoevsky number one bestseller on Amazon!" as if that fucking guy needed any hype. Maybe you can spend all this time and energy promoting books and authors that truly are not represented? I don’t know, make a video on Georgian literature, spend hours trying to find at least one English translation of the biggest Lithuanian authors? Of course, it’s going to be hard, all of the money was spend on English translations of Russian authors and all of us had only last 33 years trying to do anything to promote our culture while you all were simping for chauvinists, who hated the bare existence of us. Google at least the names of prominent Polish and Latvian authors. What are their names? What were they writing about? Could they afford to write about some highly intellectual suffering while their nations were balancing between life and death? Read the names of modern Ukrainian writers that were killed in the last 2 years. Who killed them? What would they think of Dostoevsky? Were they the "trembling beast" or "did they have the right"? Literature does teach a lot and for some reason the countries that were (are) under Russian attacks don’t like Dostoevsky, why his philosophical thought is so pathetic in our eyes? Do some research, then we’ll talk.

boycott everything russian!
please boycott and don't spread russian music, literature, movies, series, art and russian artists! don't use trending russian music on Instagram or TikTok, don't popularize the culture of a terrorist country!
and please be sure to point it out to other social media users. this is the minimum you can do to avoid unnecessary trauma to the victims of russian aggression. the victims should not see the tolerance of the culture of the state that kills and tortures them every day, that destroys entire cities and creates environmental disasters killing hundreds of people!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
earlier I wrote about why it is important to realize the level of guilt of the russians and not tolerate everything russian, in order to show the whole world and the russians themselves that their culture of terrorism and dancing on bones will not be tolerated in a civilized society!
russia is currently waging a full-scale genocidal war against Ukraine and taking part in the genocide of the Syrian people who are suffering from the terrorism of dictator Bashar al-Assad!
Tumblr media
please show your respect and tolerance for Ukrainians and Syrians, boycott everything russian and educate others! do your part in the information war against imperialist xenophobic racist homophobic and nazi russia!

Wanna see how Russians hunted civilian cars in Kyiv region in March 2022?
Surreal now that it was all happening some 15 km from where I lived and I followed the local chats crying that "People, don't evacuate by the road leading to Zhytomyrska highway! Russians are hiding among trees off road there and shooting down civilian cars!!" in real time - and now I can actually see it happening on recovered footage from street cameras. Surreal.

don't be silent about russia's crimes, please continue to support Ukraine! don't let your politicians betray Ukraine, Ukraine needs help to defeat russia. real help that the USA and Europe are obliged to provide us according to the agreements.

Where the fuck I told don't trust them?
I was talking about you paying them for something, and that money going straight to their military to buy and make more and more weaponry to kill my people, to destroy my city, and who knows what piece of country they'll want to take next.
And they are not people. Trust those who got away from the hell they put us through. There is nothing humane in them. They try to make themselves a victim like a rapist is telling his victim seduced him with a short skirt. We've dealt with them for centuries.
Every time I see a westerner like or reblog something from a ruzzian, not even specifically their shitty opinions, but like art (if those morons are able to create it even) I want to smack them for not knowing better. That fucker has a damn flag or their nationality on their bio, what the fuck are you doing. Or you even commission their work??? Do you realize you just contributed to missiles, the same that plague Ukrainian sky? The same, that terrorize and kill civilians? You say you oh so tired of this war, and then you directly pay to those who started it.
How can you be so unbelievably forgetting? After you yelled your support for us? After you cried for us? And then you don't even bother to check, or, what is more horrifying, don't care who made the content you consume?
For someone who is racing to cancel every celebrity (rightfully so, in most cases) you somehow forget to watch your own interactions with those who directly pay for the genocide of not just Ukrainians.
It's not that hard to click on the profile. It's not that hard to just go past those fricks who yell "but I didn't want war" while they continue to live and pay taxes in their shitty nazzi hole of a country. Even better - block them. Most of you can decipher the ruzzian language, I know that. Ukrainians have their flags displayed proudly after all. You won't mistake us from them.
They continue to kill civilians. They continue to destroy our homes. They don't. Fucking. Care.
It's not just soldiers. It's every one living there. You just had to read their chats after every missile attack to know that.
Don't get complacent. Please don't.

I'll tell you what I want ruzzians to do.
To die.
For every dead child, infant, mother, father, brother, sister, grandpa, grandma, cat, dog, cow. For every injured person. For every ruined home. For every tear that was ever shed by one of us. For the years of rebuilt and healing we will have to do after our victory.
We, Ukrainians, told them what they had to do in the first months. And after Bucha, when every fucking one of them didn't go out to scream how horrific their own countrymen treated us, when they laughed and told us it was a scam... Well. It was the moment we told them all to fuck off and go down with their own ship.
I don't care how they are going to free themselves. All I know is that Ukrainians who found refuge in other countries get bullied by the ruzzians who fled their piece of shit 'country' too. And those ruzzians in Europe or USA also don't go out to protests their government. What they are afraid of there? They just simply don't care.
So don't tell me to pity them. I think we, Ukrainians, know them better than anyone. And when we tell you, they want to see the world burn - trust us. We receive their threats every day and every night.
Every time I see a westerner like or reblog something from a ruzzian, not even specifically their shitty opinions, but like art (if those morons are able to create it even) I want to smack them for not knowing better. Ooh, are you little nazzi too, yeah? Gulping down the ruzzian propaganda right down your throat like a good bitch?
May I remind you, Ukraine fought our best to get rid of the ruzzian influence. A hundred people were killed when we rebelled against them. We raised the revolution against our government. And it was bloody. Very bloody. But we won then. And we gave advices to ruzzians too. But they were too comfortable with government it seems. They were fine with that, and didn't fight a bit. Now those 'progressives' yell in their xhitters the same narratives their government does. You would think they will over everyone else support Ukrainians, will fight back, but no.
I wonder if after the Second World War any person was saying "noooo, why you hate Germans, not everyone was bad, noooo"
You are pathetic. I hope you will never get the same treatment my people are getting now. Because I don't want you to feel what it feels like to fight against morons like you.
Every time I see a westerner like or reblog something from a ruzzian, not even specifically their shitty opinions, but like art (if those morons are able to create it even) I want to smack them for not knowing better. I really need everyone to work together and get Ukraine to the trending hastags so that everyone can see the results of one of the tonight's russian air raid.
First of all, the air raids began as early as 2 A.M., when everyone was asleep at their homes, including me. There were drone attacks even before that, starting at 9 P.M., but they reached Kyiv around 2 A.M., and the drone danger lasted until 4 A.M. 35 drones were launched by russia and destroyed by our defenses, including Kyiv and other regions. Around that time we already knew that russia had launched guided missiles — long distance missiles that take hours to reach the Ukrainian borders and then can change their direction at any moment, making them unpredictable and hard to shoot down. But we had some time to rest until they came close enough to be dangerous, so everyone tried to get at least a bit more sleep.
Then, at 6 A.M. the real terror began. Guided missiles from one side, more and more were launched after that, and sonic missiles were launched as well. Loud explosions from all sides, debris falling over the city, it was loud and dangerous as hell. An apartment block was hit, a fire caught on because of the damage, civilians had to be evacuated immediately. Debris landed onto streets, around parks, a lioness in the local zoo got contusion from the burst wave of the debris piece landing 300 meters away from her cage. Everyone is receiving medical help, both humans and animals.
Kharkiv city (east of Ukraine) was targeted as well, ballistic missiles hitting the city centre, apartment blocks, targeting civilians and their homes.
The air raid was over at 10 A.M. and by the evening the numbers reached 130 people wounded and 5 people killed in the air raid. In last 5 days russia has launched more than 500 drones and missiles towards Ukraine, targeting civilians. Tonight 99 different types of weaponry was used against people of Ukraine, from sonic ballistic missiles to guided missiles.
Important: all 10 of the sonic missiles were shot down by Ukrainian air defense using Patriot air defense complex. Ukrainian warriors are constantly showcasing perfect aim and usage of the gifted complexes, considering this type of missiles can only be neutralized by the Patriot complex. This shows not only perfect strength and devotion of our fighters, defenders of our people, but also the sheer need of these complexes in order to survive. Sonic missiles reach my city in 3 minutes after being launched thousands of kilometers away, so please, if you can, reach out to your government authorities in order to support our defenses with the needed weaponry.
And a moment of karma for the last: a russian missile, launched towards Ukraine, lost control mid-air and fell down on some village in voronezh oblast of russia. Finally russians got to experience the kind of terror they make us live in, by their own hands. I don't think they'll learn anything by this after all, but I hope for some kind of justice for everyone they've killed.

okay here we go.
this year I have absolutely no creative energy to put all my emotions and feelings into words but I’ll try to.
i have little positivity left in me, the only thing I’m thinking about today is gratitude. I am so very thankful to Ukrainian Armed Forces, to titans and gods, who are holding my world together. my Ukraine stands tall despite all of the hardships thanks to you only. i can only hope that I can repay you with something.
there is less hope than last year. I remember writing about "victorious year" and I still stand by it but it was also a year of tragedies, so many tragedies. there are simply no words to describe this pain.
and one can only hope this year will be just a little better. that it will be successful for Ukrainian Air Forces and they would proudly say 100 out of 100 missiles were downed, for all brunches of Ukrainian defence forces on the ground: may Ukrainian flag fly about all of our country again!
thank you to all of the people who help us in any way possible. maybe we don’t say it enough but we are grateful, eternally grateful.
and sorry to anyone who find me annoying for posting only about Ukraine. that is my life and my Ukraine, and I only have one of each.
to 2024, may you be less awful.

Ukrainian POV: you wake up from sounds of explosions, ring through all of your friends and relatives to make sure they are still alive, read comments from russians who celebrate deaths of innocent ukrainian civillians, read comments from americans with palestine flags in their bio about how you have it easy (they know better) and how dare you not talk about Palestine instead of another war crime you just barely survived, read a NYT article about russian "microprotests" with instagram posts of toys, then drink your coffee and are somehow expected to operate normally as if nothing happened.
Eternal gratitude to the ukrainian army for my privilege of being able to survive and sit here complaining, instead of dying under rubble from crush syndrome as yes-all-russians intended me to.

Keep thinking how the last time I celebrated New Year was in 2021. I remember trying to memorize everything - the smell of cooking dinner, the sight of lights on the tree, the giddiness of the midnight as we stood in the street, covered in snow, dogs barking, as we watched fireworks. I fell on the ice trying to catch our dog, and laughed so much, deep down feeling as it will never be like that. I felt the war approaching.
I watched my snowy Orikhiv, imprinting its peacefulness in my mind, just in case I will never see it again.
Now I know I will never, ever, see my beautiful town like that. Most of the town is destroyed. There is no house that is not damaged. All the stores we did our holiday shopping are burned down. The town square is bombed to smithereens. There is nowhere to go back.
I wish I was back home. I wish I could celebrate again. I wish it didn't feel so lonely. I wish fireworks didn't make me scream and see nightmares every night.
