I'm late to the party, probably, but this AU has been running around in my head since before Indigo Disk was released so here's my take on Blueberry Academy!Emmett.
A couple of general headcanons...
Emmett is part-time at the academy, teaching only 2-3 days a week. The rest of the time he still hosts the Battle Subway (with the Depot Agents running the trains in his absence).
Ingo has been missing for around a decade. Someone close to the twins (possibly Elesa?) suggested the teaching position as a change of pace, as he was burning himself out maintaining Gear Station.
Has a reputation for being a...difficult teacher.
Carries at least one Joltik on his person at all times. May occasionally trade one to students.
Frequently takes off his coat and hat while teaching; he likes the level of anonymity doing so provides.
Has been trying to convince the Director that the Terarium needs a train system between the biomes. Thus far unsuccessful.
Probably was asked to sponsor the BB League at some point.
