one of the cutest things I’ve ever heard is that really little kids didn’t understand that mio and tokatti from toq were supposed to have crushes on each other and thought they didn’t like each other so they would write to the actors asking them to be nice to each other

it’s so funny bc watching it as an adult I thought it was a great depiction of kid crushes but I guess if you’re a kid young enough that you haven’t really had a crush yet you look at this like “well they aren’t acting like my mom and dad or the other adults I’ve seen so they aren’t in love”
