Colin Bridgerton wants to dance with Penelope Featherington throughout the seasons:
Season 1
He asked and was rejected.
Season 2
He's not getting rejected this time, he simply says they're dancing.
Season 3
He's taking no prisoners, this is his girl, step away motherfuckers!
This might be my favorite parallel in the a Bridgerton universe!

Hearing Penelope call Colin ‘Mr. Bridgerton’ healed me, moved me, and changed the entire trajectory of my day. I honestly feel like it put us all back on the correct timeline. Outstanding, amazing, brilliant.

Tashigi looking like Kuina never mattered at all
Some people still put too much importance on the fact that Tashigi looked like Kuina when she was introduced, and as a consequence they're still going on about "a missed opportunity", "Oda fumbled", "a disappointment" and so on. And of course using it to hate on Tashigi as if it's her fault.
It. Was meant. To be. A gag.
That's it. Just a gag to make stoic and badass Zoro lose his composure and be unable to fight someone for once, and to connect the two characters so that they would have a special relationship of rivalry-turned-camraderie in the future.
Zoro is acting like a child here, in case you don't remember. Tashigi is 100% right in calling him out:
And then in Alabasta:
Yes, this is what people would normally call a gag. Everything about these panels is comedic.
The resemblance thing wasn't even dragged out for long, because it only lasted until Alabasta, and then the next time Zoro and Tashigi met in Punk Hazard Oda specifically commented that "Zoro doesn't call Tashigi 'copycat' anymore" (source: author notes in One Piece Party 1) and the gag was dropped.
If you need more evidence that it was never meant to be anything important, this is from "Fans Chat With Oda Sensei" at Jump Festa 2008:
Tashigi's arc was never meant to be connected to her resemblance to Kuina. Her personal arc goes much deeper.
Her arc is about going from someone who hated pirates and saw the world in black and white to someone whose eyes are fully open to the truth of the world, and Zoro and the Strawhats are the catalysts for that:
If you can't see this character development – that was already occurring in Alabasta! – because you're still stuck at "but what about looking like Kuina???" then I don't know what to tell you. Does her (former) resemblance to another character matter more than her own character?
But also, Tashigi's arc is not over yet. So before handing out definitive judgements, maybe wait to see what the story still has in store.

I had plans to make a 2 part comic featuring this situation but alas, I don't have the TIME.

Matt Owens has confirmed that the Loguetown arc was only cut from season 1 of OPLA and won't be skipped!
Can't wait for them to adapt the iconic Zoro and Tashigi moments in Loguetown 🙏
I expect there will be changes – for example, in the LA Zoro knows Wadou Ichimonji's name already so he won't learn it from Tashigi – but I hope they'll stay as faithful as possible to the manga events. I don't mind them adding original scenes, but hopefully they won't cut anything that's already there.
Also, the reveal that Tashigi is a Marine and Smoker's right hand, after getting to know her in the scenes where she befriends Zoro, could be a great twist for new audiences! Hopefully they keep that too and don't reveal it straightaway.

For me these panels of Zoro and Tashigi are bias left by Oda, to connect the two, they are too similar.
But what do you think?
I love to find so many similarities of Zoro and Tashigi in the manga.
