President Sebastián Piñera just declared Chile at "state of emergency" over the riots that are taking place in Santiago.
This means that the police, military and special forces are no longer subject to our constitution's laws; they can legally violate our human rights without getting any punishment.
Guys, I'm scared. They're torturing people and a student is already missing. They're throwing tear gas grenades directly at people, shooting teens and college students, hitting and hurting anyone who happens to be on the streets. They apparently killed two college students already.
Please, please don't let this get swept under the rug.
Military arriving in the city's were the state of emercy was declared.
Now we can not go to the streets and fight for our rights, the military can shot u, can take u to make an "identity control", u can not return. We can't make protest, there are gonna be military forces in the streets, and the president after make the announcement of the emergency state he says the Government is open for dialogue.
The government want to scare us, just like in 1973 when the military start a dictatorship of 17 years, but we are not going to lose.
We are going to fight.
Even if that means death.
Now the capital are in military control, a lot of people is gonna disappear, jus like in 1973.
