♡ Valentine's day event! ♡

Since it's now February and Valentine's Day is near, I figured it's not a bad idea to host a small event!

the regular rules will still apply, and regular requests will stay open. However, I'll be taking the cap off my inbox to allow for more requests, and event requests will be prioritized.

This event will run until February 14th, 11:59 est! Any requests for the event made after that date will be denied.

(but i'm honestly also considering picking this right back up and doing events during march and april for white/black day, so...stay tuned! )

So here's how to participate:

simply send in an ask with a character/ship and a type of edit as well as the 💌 emoji (if it doesn't show up for you for whatever reason, you're welcome to just say "for the valentine's day event" as well), and I'll randomize a theme/aesthetic from a short list of Valentine's-related ones.

You're also totally welcome to request pride edits- I'll figure something out to incorporate both the aesthetic and the flag. That should be fun.

How this event works!

Everyone will start off with 5 tokens! Check in each day to claim more tokens (1-10 per day) that will be randomly decided by a wheel.

There will be different pulls you can do, so save up if you want to!

1 pull = Just character (10 tokens)

2 pull = Character and Aesthetic (20 tokens)

3 pull = Character, Aesthetic, and Edit Type (30 tokens)

If you have tokens left over from your pull, don't worry! You get to keep them and save up for another pull if you wish to!

This starts today (January 29th) and ends February 12th! (Or sooner if I decide, but there will be a notice if so!)

okay maybe a weird question but

coming from somebody who's working on setting up an edit blog, how exactly do promos work? do you just tag larger editing blogs? do you have to be mutuals or otherwise a person to tag them or do you just tag random people?

not a weird question at all !!

with a promo, you basically tag blogs that you think will help reblog/boost your promo post !

you don’t have to be mutuals, but be sure to check their blog to make sure they’re ok with promos first. if you have editor friends that are ok with being tagged, though, then i def recommend tagging them !
