THE FUTURE.

THE SADNESS is the house fire or the broken shoulder: i'd still be me without it but i’d be so boring. they keep telling me seeing things that aren't technically there is called "disturbed cognitive functioning." i call it "having a SUPERPOWER! " once, i pulled over on the 110 freeway and jumped out of my old jeep because i saw it BURST into flames twenty seconds before it actually burst into flames. i knew my girlfriend and i would be together because she turned bright pink the first time she saw me. i know tomorrow is going to come because i've seen it. sunrise is going to come, all you have to do is wake up. the future has been at war, but it's coming home so soon. the future looks like a child in a c a p e. the future is the map and the treasure. the future looks just like gravity: everyone is s l o w l y drifting toward everyone else. we are all going to be part of each other one day. the future is a blue sky and a full tank of gas. i saw the future, i did, and in it... i was alive.

“dude, you’re fine. i get it.” she reassures quickly, moving to get up and help the other frazzled woman. “are you bleeding? go fix that first. don’t worry, i get it. i’m a bartender too, i drop shit all the time. my hands are invincible to shattered glass at this point. shattered glass fears me.” she jokes, squatting down to help the other pick up the glass that’s sprawled out across the floor.

“ hey, no, just chill. i’ll get it, ” mae is already crouching to clean up as she absently reassures the customer that’s just knocked a half - finished glass onto the floor, shattering it and leaving bits of glittering, damp glass across the hardwood. “ don’t worry about it. i’ll get you another drink as soon as i - shit! ” she yelps when a shard catches her finger, cutting all too easily through the thin fabric of her glove and causing her to draw up short. “ christ. ”

oh dear mimzy

mess of a child . so wild. fears nothing. will do anything and everything. favorite game is truth or dare, and she always picks dare. she craves fame and adventure and is always the one whos like “y’know what, we should go drive to new york fuckin’ city today . do we all have enough to chip in for a hotel room? yeah, we can all pile into a bed, lets go” just... spontaneous shit like that. give her a full tank of gas and shes off to go

mimzy grew up kinda emo. it was always just her and her mom who was always grinding to get enough money to raise them both . her dad skedaddled on out before she was born bc he was a piece of shit cokehead who slept around and used her mom for sex. her mom was this .. innocent lil bean . we stan mimzys mom .

now being as broke as they were, mimzy always felt bad asking for anything from her mom. she knew her mom couldnt do it which would just make her feel bad so she turned to, u guessed it, theft ! and she got good at it. shes been caught a few times tho, her biggest problem being when she stole from a sephora despite the fact that everyone knows u shouldnt even try to steal from a sephora. mimzy, ur an idiot. she was on probation a few times as a minor and was lucky enough to slip out of juvy. it was always a thing tho . she wanted the best of the best, and she couldnt have it.

this is why she turned to stealing. shes muse a in plot 19, aka the ringleader of a group of young adults who steal from the richer peoples houses.

shes never been too intelligent or good in school which is why shes always kept a lower end job and relied on stealing and selling things to get by. shes never felt that she had too much of a purpose in life

miscarriage tw: mimzy was always someone who slept around a lot, just loved havin a good time and didnt want to settle down until late in life . besides, she didnt think she was really worthy of anyone dating. when she was 18 she found herself pregnant after a hookup with one of her friends. she’ll never say this too publicly to anybody, but when she found out she was actually excited, thinking that maybe being a mom could be a purpose for her in her life, but ... she had a miscarriage and lost her child, and it was a pretty brutal one. i’ll spare u the details. ever since then tho shes kinda just .. lost her purpose even more . just kinda livin life .

anyway sorry to end this on an emo note thats mimzy tho
