⋆ ° ⟡ ( ROSS LYNCH, twenty three, cis male, he/ him ) has MIKOLAJ WARSZAWSKI, the PRINCE from POLAND arrived yet? i heard they can be quite GUARDED , but also THOUGHTFUL. there’s rumours they’ve come to genovia for KEEPING UP DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS, but you never know. HISTORY BOOKS, LONG GAMES OF CHESS, AND A CATS PURR always remind me of them. ( danny, 21, pst, he/ him )

BASICS

Full name: Mikolaj Otto Warszawski Nicknames: Mik, Miki (childhood nickname, still used by some family/ family friends) Hometown: Warsaw, Poland Sexuality: gay Languages spoken: Polish, English, and German

BACKGROUND

The second born of the king and queen of Poland.

He had a sheltered upbringing. His parents did their best to give him a good childhood. They bought him just about everything a kid could ask for and regularly hosted families with kids around his and his siblings ages. When he was old enough he started playing sports, and realized from talking to other kids that his life wasn’t normal. He asked his parents why he was homeschooled and why guards were always with him when he left home. They explained that life was different for him because he was a prince, and the answer was good enough for him. He was happy, and he might have been different but that was good.

The pressures and limitations of being royal became clearer and clearer as he grew up. He took it all in stride, and worked hard to be the proper prince he knew his family wanted him to be.

At nineteen (normal college age in Poland) he started attending Jagiellonian University over 3 hours away from his hometown. He did great academically. It took him longer to figure out living independently and how to act like a normal-ish teenager, but he figured it out. He went to parties and stuff, but he was responsible and never got tangled in any scandals or got on the cover of tabloids. His parents still weren’t thrilled with him being so far from home, especially because he was making friends with middle and lower class people who they don’t trust to have good intentions (he loves his parents, but they’re the worst tbh).

He graduated at the end of last school year with degrees in history and linguistics. He wanted to continue school and get a masters and then maybe even a doctorate in history. He and his parents argued a lot about it. They eventually agreed that if he took a year off of school and still wanted to go back they would pay for it.

Shipping him to Genovia around a ton of other royals and rich kids was perfect for them. He knows they’re hoping it somehow changes his mind about needing to go back to school with a bunch of ~commoners.~ He’s a little annoyed at the whole situation, but he’s trying to hide it. He’s on his best behavior because he doesn’t want to give them a reason.

PERSONALITY/ OTHER

Mik is pretty friendly, but he can come off as stuffy. He was raised to be polite and proper and it shows. It takes a long time for him to feel comfortable enough around someone to fully let his guard down. Once he does ??? He’s like another person he is constantly joking around. Still a rule follower, but so much more fun.

Know that John Mulaney “I’ll keep all my emotions right here, and then I’ll die” bit? Yeah, that’s Mik. He holds himself to impossibly high standards, and puts everyone before himself.

He’s a huge nerd. He reads all the time and he loves puzzles and games of skills. He’s a big fan of chess, word games, that kind of stuff.

He’s competitive, but he is a good sport if he loses.

Also a bit of a know it all, honestly insufferable to argue with.

He loves music!! He’s been playing piano since he was a little kid, and is pretty good. He tried to teach himself guitar in university and he’s not terrible.

He has a pet cat who’s name is TBD. Idk if bringing pets is a thing, but Mik could never leave her behind for longer than a week or two so I’m saying he brought her.
