so I just spent a week on the best face-up of my entire life, something I know I'm never going to be able to repeat, and when trying to put the head back on the body I remembered why I always reunite the head and body before I do the face and everything cracked and I have to start all over again.

so I have a couple projects in the works: a re-repaint of wyll that involves a whole new head and a doll that needed such big eyes I bought my first LOL OMG doll that had an interchangeable head and I put the spare head on a Monster High body

I made my second Tav of way too many at this point and took her to the park for a photoshoot
This is Chiara, my tiefling ranger. She doesn't have pupils because I did the face up like three times and every time I just didn't like how the pupils looked so she just doesn't have any. Makes the bright green eyes pop.
I kind of went a little nuts with the accessories this time. Since I made a quarterstaff for Theia I thought it was only right to give Chiara a bow, but then I was in joann fabric one day and I came across these adorable little mushrooms that were the exact same shape as the rogue's morsels! So I bought a pack, painted them, and then modified a monster high backpack to put them in.
and since there's three of them that's enough to make an extract for a potion of healing.
I don't always have an ideal spot to do a photoshoot but I figured i had a chance just this once.

finally got some small size gloves for handling apoxie sculpt but they're so small i got to re-enact the hbomberguy "I bought these in size twink instead of bear" bit

So i moved apartments, which delayed all my doll projects even more than I've already delayed them, but I'm getting back into it and I have ✨plans✨
Plans that I want to delay because I need to get back into the swing of things. the new work area is still a work in progress. Expect the completion of Darcy, my bg3 ranger Chiara, and then a few easy projects. maybe another stock box challenge

I'm moving into a new apartment and I couldn't resist getting out all my dolls even though I only have a bed frame and a shelf. This shelf. If you've noticed a few missing from the group that's because Theia was finished after I packed up the doll box and everyone else is in that box of dolls I plan to re-repaint and yes Astarion is in there and yes I feel bad and yes Wyll is also in there and yes I feel even worse

This is Theia, my Seldarine drow monk in baldur’s gate 3. She’s a long way from her home in the Underdark, but she’s here to kick ass and take names if it means getting this tadpole out of her head.
Making my own tav (well one of them bc now I have twice as many as when I started this project ) as a doll has been a long time coming. I’ve been so unbelievably busy lately, but thankfully I managed to get this one done before I move. This is gonna be a bigger place so thankfully I’ll have more craft space.
Bonus: Her hair glows in the dark. This fiber is different from what I’m used to working with and it has a texture that looks great on her but i can think of at least one planned project where it would come in handy.
