Tell me why at the time jonghyuns funeral was taking place, the moon turned aqua, the colour of shinees lightstick. Yet at the time of posting this it hasn’t been documented that moon changed colour.
To me it was his way of telling us he’s home and that brings me peace

roses for jonghyun ♡
south korea’s music industry lost a beautifully talented singer, performer, dancer, and songwriter on december 18th. he was extremely talented and skillful in whatever he put his mind to.
not only was he an amazing performer, he was also a great inspiration to those he surrounded himself by. he wrote countless of songs and poured his heart and soul into his beautiful creations.
i, myself, was never that big of a fan of shinee, but his death still hurt me deep down, and it still hurts. i have listened to his solo songs. he opened up the doors for me to listen to other genres of korean music, and i’m so thankful for being able to listen to his music.
people are slandering those who are mourning over him because they were “never a true fan of him or his group,” but they tend to forget that actions speak louder than words. the fact the kpop community came together in silence to pay tribute and respect to his death speaks volume.
it is sad that as fans, we were unable to notice how much he’s been hurting. it is sad that as fans, we are unable to reach out and help him. it is sad that people were so careless about how he has been feeling. it is sad that we lost him because he ended up losing himself. just imagine how many years of pain he’s endured for his family, friends, and fans.
kim jonghyun may have left this earth physically, but he will always be here spiritually. he became one of the bright stars that shines our nights in the sky. he has done so much for his group and fans, and it is only right for us to pay back for all that he’s done for us. jonghyun has left his own legacy in the world and it is our job to make sure he’s never forgotten.
shinee has never been four. no matter how many members shinee seems to have, it has and will always be five with and without jonghyun’s physical presence.
jonghyun is shinee’s member for eternity. you’ve done well. don’t forget that you’ve done well.
