Day 345
345 days since TSI 7 days since the Fall
Everyone鈥檚 been forced to go back to school by the board, even though the teachers are gone. There are reporters all around, asking us what happened. I swear, among the crowd of reporters, I saw one of them. One of those kids with that gaze.

Day 339
339 days since TSI 1 day since the Fall
The rest of the teachers have disappeared. Nearly a quarter of the students didn鈥檛 show up today, since there鈥檚 no class anymore. The ones who did show up partied pretty hard.
...The lunch staff are on vacation too. I had to eat gross, half-cooked cheese dip slop. I鈥檒l bring my own lunch tomorrow.

Day 338: The Fall
338 days since TSI 0 days since the Fall
The principal went on unplanned vacation today. The remaining teachers stood no chance against the horde of teenagers. We overthrew the teachers, and got to do whatever we wanted. This is a new era. Let's call it "After the Fall."

Day 337
337 days since TSI 6 days since the Beginning
Yesterday, we spent all day partying in the supplies closet, which is normally off-limits to students. We were able to do that because even more teachers went on unplanned vacation. There's nothing in that closet except mops and buckets, but I suppose the appeal is how forbidden it was.
...Come to think of it, it鈥檚 a bit strange how many teachers are leaving. Could the school be hiding something?

Days 334-335
334 days since TSI 3 days since the Beginning
I ran into one of them today. That's when I understood: They never left. They've been infesting the neighborhood bit by bit. Like moths in fabric. Like roaches in crops. Like maggots in my- AHHHHH WHY ARE THERE MAGGOTS IN MY HAND
335 days since TSI 4 days since the Beginning
Today, my homeroom teacher at school left on a completely unplanned vacation. We spent all of first period playing hide and seek in the lockers. The quiet kid is a surprisingly good lock picker.

Days 331-333 since TSI
331 days since the Tomato Sauce Incident 0 days since the Beginning of the End
I see them, far over the hills. A mass of short figures, slowly approaching. What could they want...?
332 days since TSI 1 day since the Beginning
They're finally here. A huge army of rugged-looking children, their eyes lit with pure determination. Someone asks why it took them a day to walk two miles. One of them looks up and replies: "We stopped to get balloons."
333 days since TSI 2 days since the Beginning
I don't think anyone in the horde was more than eight years old. They've disappeared by now... but that gaze. That piercing gaze, the stare of someone who knows exactly what they want, and exactly how to get it.
That gaze looked so unnatural, so out of place on such young children. They disappeared, but there's no way they left. The fierce wanting, the fierce knowing in their eyes... That doesn't go away this easily.
