Captain’s voice scene remains an all-timer. Love how they can get back together, Stede can be 100% aware that Ed loves him and he loves Ed, as well 100% aware of his sexuality amid his many many gay sex dreams, and the precious baby is STILL completely oblivious to the effect he has.
Ed is sitting there discovering three new kinks in two minutes and getting hard just from Stede’s tone of voice, and Stede remains a human :D emoji.

Sleepy morning Ed has Stede Tunnel Vision until he has his seven sugars.

2a. Reverse shot shoulders up of Ed in a nightshirt, hair messy and still looking half asleep. Stede continues off screen: “Come take a seat!” Ed thinks to himself, “Seat?” 2b. He thinks triumphantly, “Seat!” With a pink heart.
3. Full body shot of Stede on the couch, rearing back in surprise as Ed, exclaiming “Don’t mind if I do!” plops directly down onto his lap. Ed is wearing small cloth shorts under his hiked-up nightshirt and has both bare legs folded on either side of Stede and both arms wrapped around his neck, face buried in the crook of his shoulder opposite the viewer. Stede’s pink and panicked expression is in the forefront, hands raised as if trying to avoid touching Ed’s legs.
4. Zoom out to reveal Olu, Lucius, and Buttons sitting on the other couches around the coffee table, which holds Stede’s cup and a teapot. Olu is lounging on the left, turned sideways with one leg folded up and one elbow on the backrest. His other hand is holding a cup of tea and he is grinning teasingly at Stede and Ed. Lucius is on the right, one leg folded over the other, and continues writing in Stede’s journal as he smirks over at his captains. Buttons sits beside him stock-still and staring. Ed, still slumped over Stede in a loose embrace, begins to snore. Stede’s face continues to get redder and his hands fly around nervously as he stutters “Ed, Ed! Um, wake up, darling! Ed!”
