I love how Blood of Eden names work, but Jod willing if having a literature quote as a name was socially acceptable here I would misuse it so badly. It would take me like 9 seconds to be like “Actually Pacific Rim IS classic literature and you WILL refer to me as Today We Are Canceling The Apocalypse.”

I'm pretty confident the end point for Gideon and Harrow in Alecto will be them performing the perfected Lyctorhood that Anastasia and Samael attempted and that Sextus and Camilla pulled off, but I'm curious as to what form it will take. Will they succeed where Anastasia/Samael failed and both live? Or will they merge into someone new, like Paul? If the latter, what will that look like? Paul is described as mostly Camilla with a few different features, but as Sextus was just a soul and some bone dust at the time, I can't imagine the merger had much of him to go off of. So hypothetically we could have Harrow or Gideon's body be the basis, or a proper combo of both bodies. Whichever way they come out though, it better be with some muscle mass because Gideon's two hander is getting to be one of the most tragic characters in the series at this point and needs redemption.
