Definitely descriptions….. all I do is describe. I can’t write dialogue to save my life but I got that internal dialogue and description down. Also apparently writing characters that are in some kind of spiral. I wonder why……..

I’m pretty happy with how this portrait came out. I’m trying to figure out where I am with my art these days. I miss how I used to feel about drawing but I think my skills haven’t regressed as much as I thought. I know comparison is the thief of joy and all that but I can’t stop myself lol.

Anyway, thoughts about this character: wow Cairo really started as an AUification of Fernando bc I had to make a character for Cyberpunk RED but he’s transformed into an entirely independent OC. I think he’s my current favorite… then again, I haven’t made many OCs since I was younger, so he kind of developed at a more “mature” level. Personality, backstory, character development, look— I’m pretty happy with all of it. He’s a pretty bad person, but very likable, so basically my favorite type of character. I would play him again but I love the resolution his arc had in our tabletop game. I’ve been thinking of sticking him into some original writing, maybe a short story or something else. Probably make more art too.
