Makayla was stood behind Kelly as Max opened the door to see the face of the older Verstappen. “Max, how are you son?” Jos said.

“Cut the talk dad, how dare you just kick Mack out like that!” Max replied. “Well it’s not kicking her out when I want her back home. Come here Makayla!” Jos added.

“Like hell you are doing that!! She’s happy here and she doesn’t need you anymore” Max told him. “She’s only 16, a minor and I’m her biological father so she has to come with me” Jos spat.

Max kept quiet knowing that he was right. “I’m not going with you!” Makayla shouted. “Makayla, honey! Yes you are, you can’t stay with Max I’m your father” Jos told her. “You can’t make me!” Makayla added.

“Well, why don’t you try to explain that to these two police officers,” Jos said with smug grin as Makayla face dropped. “You have run away from home Makayla, your father has been worried about you” One of the policemen said.

“Oh, so that’s what you told them was it?” Makayla said to her father. “It will be consequences if you don’t go with him Makayla, as you’re a minor he’s your legal guardian” The other policeman said.

“Fine, I’ll go get my stuff..” Makayla mumbled as went to her room, Max and Kelly soon entered after her. “Max, please you have to do something!” Makayla cried as Max pulled her into a hug.

“I’m sorry Mack, I promise you I’ll try and get something sorted quickly..” Max mumbled as they pulled away. “I just don’t know if I can stay with him..” Madelyn mumbled.

“What does he do to you, Mack?” Kelly asked softly as Makayla looked away. “Mack, please” Max mumbled. “Hurts me..” Makayla whispered as Max’s eyes started to water.

“We will try everything we can to get you out of there as soon as possible, just stay strong okay?” Kelly told her as she nodded and got her stuff.

They made their way back to the door where Jos was still standing with the two police officers. Max pulled Makayla into a hug one final time.

“I’ll get you back, I promise” Max mumbled in her hair before kissing her forehead. “Okay..” Makayla whispered as she made her way over to her father.

Max watched as Makayla flinched when their father put his arm on her shoulder, he watched as Jos had a smirk on his face before leaving with his sister.

“Fuck sake!” Max shouted as he buried his face into his hands.

He just hopes that Makayla will hold on..

“He hits her?!” Daniel exclaimed as some of drivers had met up with Max in a little cafe in Monaco. “I don’t know how I didn’t realise..” Max mumbled. “Mate, it’s not your fault” Lando said.

“But she’s in the house with him, who knows what Mack is like right now!” Max added. “She’s a strong girl, whats your plan to get her back?” Charles said.

“Going to adopt her,” Max told him with a smile which made the 3 drivers smile too. “I’m glad you’re doing that, Mack doesn’t deserve what she going through right now” Daniel said.

“Yeah, I can’t let her live with him for another 2 years” Max added. “Have you got the papers and everything?” Lando asked. “Getting through it all, hopefully I can get everything done in the next week or so” Max replied.

“Does she know yet?” Charles asked. “I haven’t been able to get through to her..” Max mumbled but at that moment his phone rang and he saw her name come up on the screen.

“Put it on speaker,” Lando said as Max nodded before he answered the call. “Mack!? I haven’t been able to get ahold of you in ages!” Max said. “I’m sorry..” Makayla mumbled.

“Are you safe?” Max asked as Makayla started crying before she started to speak through her tears. “Max…I can’t do this anymore..I’m sorry!!” Makayla cried.

“Please don’t say that Mack, where are you? I’m going to come get you now” Max said as he wiped tears that had fallen down his face. “Basement…” Makayla mumbled.

“Fucking hell, hold on for a couple more hours for me okay? I’ll be there, I promise” Max told her. “Okay…I love you” Makayla said. “Love you too sis” Max replied before ending the call.

“Plane is ready for us, let’s head to the airport” Charles said as he got off the phone.

“Mads! You spend Christmas with him so you ain’t spending summer break with him too!” Arthur told her. “That’s not for you to decide!!” Madelyn shouted as she ran up to her room.

“She’s doing what now?!” Charles exclaimed as he heard the conversation of his two younger siblings. “Mads! Get back down here!” Arthur added as she slowly made her way back down.

“You’re spending summer break with Ollie? But you spent winter break with him too!” Charles said. “Am I not allowed to spend summer break with him as well?” Madelyn questioned.

“Well I don’t like the idea really,” Arthur mumbled. “Same here” Charles said. “Charles! Arthur! Just let it go, alright? If she wants to spent summer with Ollie she can do that” Lorenzo told them.

“But—” They both tried to argue. “Boys, Mads is responsible enough. Even if she think of her as your baby sister. She’s growing up, let her live her life with Ollie. You know he will keep her safe” Pascale added.

“Thanks maman, I’m going to start packing now!” Madelyn said as she kissed her mother on her cheek before running up to her bedroom and started to pack.

“I’m protective over Mads too, but just turn it down a bit? She’s older enough now and Ollie is really good for her” Lorenzo told his younger brothers.

Charles and Arthur looked at each other knowing that their mother and Lorenzo were right.

“I’m surprised your brothers let you” Ollie said, the couple has just arrived to the Bahamas. “Charles and Arthur didn’t want to me, Enzo had a talk with them” Madelyn replied.

“Are they actually fine with us dating?” Ollie asked. “Of course they are, took those two awhile to accept it but they are really fine with us being together” Madelyn said.

“Just checking” Ollie added. “You got nothing to worry about Ol, unless you hurt me then there will be after you and hate you” Madelyn giggled. “Well, it’s lucky I ain’t planning doing any of that” Ollie told her.

“I’m glad,” Madelyn said. “Been a crazy year, eh?” Ollie added. “Tell me about it, you’ll be in f1 soon I just know it!” Madelyn told him. “I can only dream” Ollie mumbled.

“You’ll get a race in f1 next year, I reckon” Madelyn added. “Why do you think that?” Ollie asked. “Just got a feeling that something will to either Carlos or Charles and you’ll be replacing them” Madelyn told him.

“Well I don’t wanna pray on them being out of a race, but I would love that as I’ll be racing you as well” Ollie said. “I’ll give Charles food poisoning or something” Madelyn joked.

“I don’t think he’ll appreciate that much, Lynnie” Ollie laughed. “Oh well, he’ll get over it” Madelyn said.

Madelyn and Ollie enjoyed the next 1 and half with each other on holiday before they flew back to go spent to the rest of the summer break with their families.

Madelyn had just entered her mother’s house, she knew all her brothers were there due to all the cars outside. She walked into the kitchen and her mother greeted her.

“Darling! How was your holiday with Ollie?” Pascale asked as the mother and daughter pulled away from the hug. “It was perfect, maman!” Madelyn said with a smile.

Race day

Ivy scanned her pass before entering the paddock, she greeted fans as she was making her way to get to the Mercedes garage. Ryan could see how nervous she was but didn’t say anything, the pair soon enough entered the Mercedes garage.

Ivy greeted her team before making her way into her drivers room, she put her headphones on to listen to music to try to calm down her nerves.

“Hey, where’s Vee?” Susie asked. “In her drivers room, she’s really nervous but won’t admit it if you ask her what’s wrong” Ryan said. “You really know her very well,” George added.

“Been her trainer since the beginning, I can read her like a book” Ryan told them. “Why don’t you talk to her for a bit? Might help to her calm down,” Toto said to his wife.

“I was going talk to her anyways, I’ll be back in a bit” Susie replied as she made her way to Ivy’s drivers room and knocked on the door.

“Come in,” Ivy said as Susie opened to door. “Hey Susie! What’s up? Am I needed in the garage?” Ivy asked. “No you aren’t, you also don’t have to hide from everyone that you are nervous. It’s understandable, sweetie” Susie said softly.

Susie was sat down next to Ivy, the rookie looked the ground. “I hate how Ry can read me like a book..” Ivy mumbled. “He��s looking out for you” Susie told her.

“Still annoying..” Ivy added. “I know you might feel like that Vee, anyways let’s have a chat to hopefully calm you down before the race” Susie said.

And that’s what they did..

After the conversation with Susie, Ivy felt way better than earlier. She and George were currently making their way to the drivers parade. Ivy made her way over to Oscar.

“Hey Vee,” Oscar said as the shared a fist bump. “Hey Osc,” Ivy added with a smile. “Look who it is!” LOGAN SARGEANT said as he walked over to the duo.

“Lo! Hey! Sorry, I haven had a chance to see you at all this weekend!” Ivy replied as they hugged. “It’s alright Vee, happy that you made it up here” Logan said.

“Me too!” Ivy added. “Carter!” Lando called making her turn around. “What’s up Norris?” Ivy called back as Lando started to walk over to her. Ivy quickly walked to stand behind George.

“Aww, you need to be protected?” Lando joked as Ivy smacked his arm, making drivers laugh at the duo. “Feisty as ever,” Lando mumbled as he rubbed his arm as Ivy just smiled at him.

“Nice one Vee!” Alex called. “Thanks Albono!” Ivy replied with a laugh. “I actually hate you,” Lando said. “Love you too Lan!” Ivy said and once again moving away quickly from Lando and placed herself near Lewis.

“It’s going to be a fun season with them,” Max said. “Tell me about it, imagine what it would be like if they were teammates?” George said. “Chaos,” Charles replied.

“They’re two kids, what do you expect?” Carlos added making them laugh.

The moment it happened.

“HISTORY IS MADE TONIGHT! IVY CARTER BECOMES THE FIRST EVER FEMALE TO FINISH ON THE PODIUM IN FORMULA 1! WHAT A FIRST RACE FOR THE 18 YEAR OLD ROOKIE!” Crofty exclaimed as they watched the Mercedes cross the line.

R: “That’s P3 Vee!! What a way to start your formula 1 career with a podium! Brilliant performance today, congratulations Vee!”

Ivy: “AHH!! I did it!! Thank you guys so much, I can’t believe it!!”

R: “You deserve that Vee, amazing performance kid!”

Ivy: “Thanks Toto!!”

Ivy parked her car in the P3 spot, she stayed in her car for a while before eventually stepping out and running into the arms of her crew. She took her balaclava and helmet before seeing two familiar people.

She soon saw Toto and Susie and ran to them. “Knew you could do it Vee!” Toto said. “We are proud of you sweetheart, so many girls will be looking up to you” Susie added as she kissed her forehead.

“Thank you guys!” Ivy mumbled before she had to go get weighed, she then put her helmet down and had a drink of water. “Vee! P3?! Proud of you!” George said as he hugged his teammate.

“Congrats Vee, so proud of you!” Lewis added as they hugged. “Thanks guys, a double podium for us too!” I y replied looking at George. “You know it!” George said.

“I’ll get you both next week, anyways congrats again Vee” Lewis added. Ivy felt someone squeezed her shoulders from behind, when she turned around she saw the Dutch driver.

“Go again next week?” Ivy said as she put her fist out, Max accepted the fist bump. “You know it, almost got me at the end Vee, congrats by the way” Max replied.

“Thank you!” Ivy added as she made her way over to do her post race interview.

“Ivy, a huge congratulations! P3 on your first ever formula 1 race, how you feeling?” JENSON BUTTON asked as the crowd cheered.

“I’m still trying to find words to describe the feeling, I just want to say that can’t thank Toto and Mercedes enough for giving me this opportunity. It’s a dream come true and can’t wait forwards to the races ahead” Ivy replied with a big smile on her face.

“Thank you Ivy, congratulations once again!” Jenson said as Ivy waved up to the crowd before giving Jenson a hug before making her way into the cool down room.

Moments later, Ivy walked out onto the podium..

Toto and Susie had were clapping proudly with big smiles on their faces as watched Ivy up on the podium. Ivy pointed down to them with a big smile on her face too.

“Toto and Susie Wolff looking very proud of Ivy, what a special moment this is for Ivy, she’s just proved to everyone that she deserves to be in that Mercedes seat!” Martin said.

IVY CARTER scanned her pass before entering the Bahrain paddock, she was in her casual clothes and was with her trainer RYAN EVANS, the pair were making their way towards the Mercedes garage.

Nearly all the cameras had pointed in her direction and started to follow her, Ivy stopped to sign things and take photos with fans before eventually getting to the Mercedes garage .

“Hey Ivy!”

“Hi Vee!”

“Hey Carter!”

All the crew said when seeing the rookie driver enter the garage. “Ah, there she is! Hi Vee!” GEORGE RUSSELL said seeing his teammate walking up to him. “Hey G! Where’s Toto?” Ivy asked as the paired hugged.

“He’ll be here now, think he’s waiting for Susie” George told her. “I love her,” Ivy replied. “I think everyone knows that” George mumbled as Ivy hit him slightly.

“There’s my two drivers!” TOTO WOLFF said as he walked into the garage. “Susie!” Ivy exclaimed running into the arms of her. “Hey sweetheart!” SUSIE WOLFF replied as they pulled away.

“Any greeting for me, Vee?” Toto joked as the rookie hugged her new team boss. “Thank you for this opportunity, I promise I won’t let you down” Ivy told him as they pulled away.

“You deserve this Ivy and I’m sure you won’t disappoint me,” Toto said. “You free right now, Vee?” George asked as Ivy looked at Ryan. “Yeah you’re free, I’ve checked with Nat” Ryan told her.

NATALIE COLLINS, her PR manager was who Ryan was referring to. “Great! You can come meet some of the guys, you already know a few of them” George said. “Okay..” Ivy mumbled as the pair made their way out the garage.

Something you should know about Ivy is how shy she is. You wouldn’t think that she was shy when seeing her acting around her team, but when she first meets someone it’s a whole different story.

That’s why she was currently walking somewhat behind George when they made their way over to a group of drivers. Ivy watched as George greeted them, she stay back as her nerves was getting to her.

“Hey Vee,” LEWIS HAMILTON said softly as she hugged him. Her and Lewis have known each other for awhile due to her being a Mercedes junior and they become quite close.

“Hey Lew, how’s Ferrari treating you?” Ivy asked as they started to have a full conversation. “If it isn’t Ivy! How are you Vee?” VALTTERI BOTTAS said as he walked over to the pair.

“Val!” Ivy exclaimed as they hugged before pulling away. Again, due to Ivy being a Mercedes junior driver she had met and become close with Valtteri.

“Vee! Come over here!” George called as Ivy turned around to see George with a group of drivers she didn’t know. “Go on Vee, we’ll catch up with you later” Lewis said.

Ivy slowly made her way over and stood next to George. “Look who it is, little Ivy” LANDO NORRIS teased. “Shut up Norris,” Ivy sassed which made some of the drivers around laugh.

“Still feisty as ever” Lando added. “Hey Vee! How are you?” ALEX ALBON asked. “I’m good thanks, Albono!” Ivy said with a a smile. “So nice to him yet rude to me!” Lando added.

“Can you tell him to stop already? I’ve only just got here!” Ivy mumbled as the drivers around laughed while Lando just had a smirk on his face. “Wipe that smirk off your face Norris,” Ivy told him.

“What if I don’t?” Lando asked as Ivy gave him a glare and the Mclaren driver run off, with the young girl running after him. “Have they always been like this?” CARLOS SAINZ asked.

“Yup, the day we introduced them to each other” Alex said. “How old is Ivy again?” PIERRE GASLY asked. “She’s 18” George told him as they all looked shocked.

“Only a year older than I was first getting here,” MAX VERSTAPPEN said as they all laughed seeing Lando falling to the down with the rookie on his back.

“Didn’t you tell us she’s shy? She don’t seem like it” CHARLES LECLERC asked. “Only around new people, you can see her and Lando get on quite well” Alex said joking at the last part.

Ivy and Lando eventually calmed down and made their way back over to the group of drivers. “Nice to meet you all!” Ivy said giving a fist bump to the 4 drivers. “Likewise, Vee” Max replied.

Ivy smiled at the nickname that he already used. Ivy started to have a small conversation with them all before they all had to make their way back to their respective garages.

“Ivy! You’re in the press conference with Max, Charles, Alex and Oscar in 10 minutes” Natalie told her. “Thank god it wasn’t Lando” Ivy mumbled.

Soon enough, the rookie made her way to where the press conference was going to take place. When she entered the room, she could see all the drivers already there.

She greeted them all with a fist bump before sitting down between Alex and Oscar. “Long time no see, Osc” Ivy said as the Aussie driver smiled. “Finally got up here, eh?” OSCAR PIASTRI replied.

“I still can’t believe it, crazy” Ivy told him. The pair were too invested in their conversation that they didn’t know someone was asking Ivy a question until Alex nudged her slightly.

Ivy turned to him as he pointed to a reporter who has asked her the question. “Sorry, was just catching up with Osc. What was your question?” Ivy asked softly.

“It’s alright, I wanted to ask how it has been for you in Mercedes so far and how you are feeling about the upcoming season?”

“Mercedes is like a family to me, I grew up in the junior program and been in the garage a lot over the years. So I already knew a lot of the crew, so it’s been easy for me to settle in. It’s still surreal to me that I’ve finally made it to f1, been dreaming of it since a little kid so I can’t wait for the season to start now and get out on the track” Ivy said.

“You still are a kid” Max joked which made many in the room laughed at the comment. “I mean he isn’t wrong,” Alex added as Ivy rolled her eyes with a smile on her face.

Surprisingly for Ivy, the rest of the press conference went well, she was shocked that she didn’t get any certain questions asked but she had to be thankful for it.

When they were allowed to leave, Ivy walked out with Oscar and the pair started to make their way back to their garages. “Ew, why you bringing her here?” Lando joked as he saw the pair outside the Mclaren garage.

“Shut up Norris, see you later Osc!” Ivy said as she gave the Aussie a fist bump and poked her tongue out to Lando before making her way to Mercedes.

“You ready for tomorrow?” George asked. “Eh, I’m nervous but I can’t wait to get started” Ivy said. “You’ll be fine Vee, you belong here” George told her.

“Thanks G, is Carmen going to be here this weekend?” Ivy asked. “Yeah, she’ll be here from tomorrow onwards” George told her. “I’ve missed her” Ivy said.

“She’s missed you too,” George mumbled as Ivy had a big smile on her face.

Skip to Qualifying

“Here comes out the Mercedes cars, George Russell is the first out then his rookie teammate Ivy Carter, what an entrance she has made already!” DAVID CROFT said as he watched the two cars come out onto the track.

“Well Mercedes did say that they had a chance to do something different. But bringing a 18 years old rookie into the team, many people didn’t think that would happen!” MARTIN BRUNDLE added.

"Well, let’s see how Ivy can do on her first ever qualifying in formula 1 today!” Crofty said.

"-the both Mercedes have crossed the line ending their flying laps. It's P5 for the rookie and Russell gets into the top 3, they are both through to Q2!"

"Eliminated from Q3 is the Williams of Logan Sargeant, the both HAAS's; Magnussen and Hulkenberg, Esteban Ocon in the Alpine and Yuki Tsunoda in the RB!”

R- "Okay Vee, let's keep it up we are through to Q2"

Ivy- "Copy, what position am I in?"

R- "We are currently in P5"

Ivy- "Copy, where is George?"

R- "P3!"

"Ivy Carter is flying out there, she has just crossed the line and the rookie put herself 3rd fastest. However, Verstappen has just beaten her and she is pushed down to 4th"

"It's a George Russell who’s on top at the end of Q2, followed by Hamilton in the Ferrari then Max Verstappen and the rookie Ivy Carter is ahead of Leclerc who completes the top 5!"

"We've lost the Williams of Alex Albon, Daniel Ricciardo in the RB, Pierre Gasly in the Alpine, Valtteri Bottas in the Sauber and Lance Stroll in the Aston Martin!”

R- "That's P4, Verstappen just beat you to that P3. Let's keep going!"

Ivy- "Copy 3. Where's George?"

R- "P1!"

Ivy- “Let’s go G!”

"Right, Lando Norris the first to do his last flying lap, he crosses the line and it's P8 start for him tomorrow! Behind him is his teammate, Piastri starts P9, Alonso hasn’t improved so it’s a P10 for him tomorrow!”

"Carlos Sainz, crosses the line in P7 good start for him tomorrow! Sergio Perez has had some issues and it’s P6 for him! Charles Leclerc can’t improve and it’s P5 for him tomorrow!”

"Only 5 cars left on the track, Ivy Carter will be the last one to finish her flying lap. She has just gone purple through in the first sector, moving onto her teammate who has put his car on provisional pole, what a lap that was from Russell"

"Hamilton is the next to cross the line, it’s a P4 start for him tomorrow! It's all eyes on what Verstappen and the rookie Ivy Carter can do now!”

"Verstappen crosses the line and gets 2nd fastest, he can’t beat Russell, but has he done enough or will the other Mercedes of Ivy Carter ruin it for him?”

"—Ivy Carter crosses the line and it's 3rd fastest for the rookie!! Very close between her and Verstappen, however what a debut for the young rookie!!"

"George Russell starts from pole, followed by Max Verstappen on the front row, then the rookie of Ivy Carter in P3. Both Ferrari’s of Hamilton and Leclerc complete the top 5!"

R- "P3 Vee!! What a lap that was, well done amazing job!"

Ivy- "Let's goo!!! P3 in qualifying on the debut, wow! Thank you guys so much, it's onto the race!!"

R- “Huge congratulations Vee, well done what a lap!”

Ivy- “Thanks Toto!”

Ivy parked her car in the P3 spot, she stay in her car for a moment for getting out and running to her team. They all patted her back, she took her helmet off before hugging Toto and Susie.

“Knew you could do it, well done kid!” Toto said. “Thank you!” Ivy replied. “Proud of you sweetheart,” Susie added. “I love you guys” Ivy told them.

Ivy has always seen the pair like parents to her, she never had a good relationship with her biological parents and never will want to now as they disowned her when she was only 16 years old.

That’s another story for another time..

“Vee! Well done!!” George said as he hugged her, lifting her up in the process due to the height difference. “Thank you G!” Ivy replied as she felt the floor again.

“Almost got me” Max told her as she put her helmet down and had a drink of water. “Be sure to check your mirrors tomorrow, Verstappen” Ivy told him.

“Game on, Carter,” Max added with a smile.

a/n: I’m so sorry for how long this has taken me to write, one final chapter left!

Madelyn woke up to a heavy body jumping on her. “Arthur, go away!” Madelyn mumbled as she tried to push her brother off her bed.

“You have to get up Mads, you need to be in the track in like 30 minutes” Arthur told her as she slowly made her way out of bed.

“Oh, Ollie is on his way by the way. We are free for awhile so we are going with you in the paddock” Arthur added. “Invite yourself along, why don’t you Arth” Madelyn said sarcastically.

“I will! Now, c’mon and get ready!” Arthur told her. “I will, be patience now” Madelyn replied as she went into the bathroom and had a shower and changed.

When she opened the door and entered her room, she saw a familiar face there. “Baby, you’re here!” Madelyn exclaimed as she hugged Ollie.

“Hey, love” Ollie said smiling as they both kissed. “I didn’t need to see that, can we go now?” Arthur said. “Well, you was the one who let him in so..” Madelyn replied.

“Anyways, let’s go!” Ollie said. “Finally!!” Arthur exclaimed. “I wish he went with Charles..” Madelyn mumbled to Ollie. “I heard that!” Arthur called.

“You were meant to!” Madelyn shouted.

Madelyn and Ollie entered the f1 paddock together, they let Arthur go ahead of them and as this rate he was probably already near the Ferrari garage.

The couple made their way over to fans to sign stuff and to take photos before they started to make their way to the Alfa Romeo garage.

But, before they could get any further. There was quite a few drivers in the way, it’s like they almost planned this..

“Hey lil sis! Hey Ollie!” Charles said and hugged Madelyn and giving Ollie a fist bump. “Would you all like to tell why you are here?” Madelyn asked.

“Just wanted to catch up” Max said. “Just a friendly chat” Carlos added. “Yeah, like I believe that” Madelyn told them.

“Maybe we want to meet your boyfriend officially” Lando added. “Lando!” They all said. “What?! It was obvious anyways” Lando mumbled.

“Thanks Lan! But, you lot already know Ollie as he races in F2” Madelyn said. “It’s still different as we want to talk to him about being your boyfriend not a racing driver” Pierre replied.

“Mads! Boss wants you!” Zhou called. “Well, you can talk to him now! Bye baby, I apologise in advance” Madelyn said whispering the last few words to Ollie before they kissed.

“No kissing in front of me!” Charles called. “Suck it up Charlie!” Madelyn shouted before making her way into the garage.

Now, Ollie was left alone with the f1 drivers..

“Let’s have a little chat, shall we?” Carlos said as all the drivers directed Ollie into an excluded area in the paddock.

“Baby! I’m sorry about them, they must have went a bit too far. Are you okay?” Madelyn asked as Ollie entered her drivers room.

“Lyn, it’s alright they weren’t too bad. They’re just protective over you and want to make sure I ain’t going to hurt you” Ollie said as he sat down next to her.

“I’m 18, can’t they just leave me alone?” Madelyn mumbled as she leaned her head on his shoulder. “It’s because they see you are their little sister, Lynnie” Ollie told her.

“I already have 3 older brothers, I don’t need or want anymore!” Madelyn added. “The others just love you like a little sister” Ollie said.

“I know but they still don’t need to be so protective over me! Charles and Arthur are like that and I hate it!” Madelyn replied. “That’s what you’ve got to deal with” Ollie said.

“Wow, thanks Ol” Madelyn mumbled but smiled when Ollie leaned down to kiss her. “I love you” Ollie whispered. “I love you more” Madelyn replied as they kissed again, but this time there were rudely interrupted.

“Ay! Not in front of me! Ollie mate, you should have been in the garage 5 minutes ago!” Arthur shouted. “Mads! You should have been in your garage 5 minutes ago too!” Charles called.

“This is what I mean..” Madelyn mumbled as Ollie let out a laugh. “I’ll see you later” Ollie said as they kissed before making their way to their respective garages.

in which: lando wants his girlfriend on his team as he knows he will always win.

Y/n just left the apartment she shared with Lando, she was making her way down to the padel courts as that’s where her boyfriend was with his fellow drivers.

“Baby!” Lando exclaimed as he saw her entering the court, he made his way over to her and hugged her while kissing her. “Hey, Lan” Y/n said with a smile.

“Hey guys!” Y/n added as she hugged the three drivers. “Hey Y/n!” George said. “He’s been pouting about losing!” Alex added. “Glad you’re here to sort him out!” Max replied.

“Oh shut up!” Lando mumbled. “You want me to win us a game to make you feel better?” Y/n joked. “There isn’t any point in playing against you!” Max said. “Well, it’s your own fault for not having a girlfriend who’s a pro padel player!” Lando replied.

“I won’t be on your team now, be nice all the girls are lovely” Y/n said which made the three drivers laugh as Lando kept quiet. “C’mon, let’s play” Alex said.

“3 v 2 is it?” George asked. “We need all the players we can get when playing against Y/n” Max added. “Prepare to lose, boys!” Lando said as they all got to their positions on the court.

“Winners!!” Lando cheered as he ran over and hugged his girlfriend. “You were no help at all!” Y/n said which made everyone but Lando laugh.

“Thats coming from a pro padel player too, you must be bad mate!” Alex said. “Proves that you only won because of Y/n” George added.

“Y/n!” Lando whined. “Oh stop whining, you won mate. But just remember you were useless and your girlfriend did it all” Max said.

“Okay, that’s enough for today” Lando said which made them all laugh once again. “Did you just come here on purpose to make fun of me?” Lando asked.

“Maybe, you know I wouldn’t if you actually listen to me when we play padel on our own!” Y/n told him. “Yeah mate, you’re going to need to start listening to her” Alex added.

“Alright! We are going now, see you next week boys” Lando told them as he fist bumping them and Y/n hugging them before the couple left. “I love you” Y/n said.

“I love you too, sometimes,” Lando replied as they shared a kiss.

Summary: After finding comfort in her brother’s place, it just seems too good to be true when her father knocks the door….

Makayla had fallen asleep with her head rested on Max’s chest. Max didn’t notice until he looked down and seen his little sister asleep.

The 3 other drivers were still at his apartment, Kelly and Penelope were due to come back any moment and that’s when Daniel, Charles and Lando would leave.

“I can’t believe he actually kicked her out.” Max said as the 3 of them looked up at him. “It’s awful, I really don’t understand him” Daniel said.

“She’s only 16 like,” Lando added. “Does he know she’s here?” Charles asked. “Probably, she can only go either me or Vic” Max told him.“You think he’s going to try and take her back?” Lando asked.

“I’m not letting him, I know how he’s been treating her and I’m not letting her go through that anymore” Max added as the door opened.

“Maxie!” Penelope exclaimed as she made her way towards him but stopped when she noticed Makayla there. “What’s KayKay doing here?” Penelope asked.

“I’ll tell you everything later okay? Just keep the noise down as she’s asleep” Max said as she nodded before running back to Kelly.

“We better be going, message any of us Max to update us. Remember we are here to help, Mack is like a sister to us as well” Daniel said.

Max moved his sister‘s head in his chest and onto a pillow before he walked to the door with his 3 fellow drivers. “Thanks guys, means a lot” Max said before bidding goodbye to them.

“Is she okay?” Kelly asked referring to Makayla. “Dad kicked her out, she used all her savings to get a flight over here” Max said. “He kicked her out? Who would that?!” Kelly replied.

“Him apparently, you okay with her staying with us for awhile? I know P loves her anyways” Max asked. “You don’t need to ask, she’s your sister and I know P loves her too” Kelly said with a smile.

“Thank you” Max added.

Makayla had woken up to see that she had fallen asleep on the sofa. “Hey sleepyhead” Max joked seeing his sister finally awake. “Shut up, I was tried” Makayla mumbled.

“Is KayKay awake?!” Penelope shouted and when she seen the girl awake she ran and jumped on the sofa with her. “Hey P!” Makayla said as she tickled the young girl.

“KayKay! Stop!!” Penelope giggled as she tried to get out of her grip. Kelly sat down by Max, the two had smiles on their faces seeing the two girls together.

“Hey Kel, sorry didn’t see you there” Makayla said. “It’s alright, happy to see you smiling Mack” Kelly replied with a smile. “Mummy! Can Kay take me to the beach?” Penelope asked.

Makayla gave her older brother a certain look, that he knew he couldn’t say no to. “I hate when you do that look, just be careful you two okay? Be back before it’s gets dark” Max told them as Penelope cheered and ran to get her coat.

“You sure you’re okay with this?” Makayla asked, mainly directing the question to Kelly. “Mack, you I trust you with P. How many times have you watched her before this?” Kelly said.

“Just making double sure. Thank you, we won’t be long!” Makayla said as she got ready for the couple watched the two girls leave the apartment.

“I hate how he’s made her think she isn’t allowed to do or go anywhere..” Max mumbled. “She’ll be alright, Mack is a strong girl. We just need to make sure he stays away from her and not try and take her back” Kelly said.

“I want KayKay to take me to bed!” She heard Penelope said as she entered the room. “I’ll do it Kel, c’mon P! Let’s finish that book off we were reading!” Makayla said as Penelope jumped in her arms as she carried her to her room.

Max and Kelly smiled at the pair before quietly following them and stood by the door watching the both girls. Makayla finished reading before kissing Penelope’s forehead and leaving to door to be greeted by the couple.

“Watching us were you?” Makayla joked as the three made their way back to the living room. “You are so good with her, she adores you” Kelly said. “I love her” Makayla replied with a smile.

The three of them started to watch a bit of TV, Makayla was on her phone a few times before it was starting to get late and they was about to make their way to bed, but there was a knock on the door..

“Makayla! I know you’re in there, you better come here before I phone the police!” They heard Jos shout.

The girl looked at her older brother with fear on her face, how was she going to get out of this? Kelly came over and pulled her into a hug, before Max started to make his way towards the door.

“Makayla, get here now!” Jos shouted.

Everyone knows what Jos Verstappen was like treating Max Verstappen growing up. Everyone saw that Max didn’t see his mother Sophie and his sister Victoria much due to him always travelling around the world.

When they got divorce, Jos went off and got married again and had more children who became Max and Victoria’s step siblings.

Max couldn’t say he had a favourite siblings, but when it came to Makayla Verstappen, her and Max got very close despite the big age gap.

Makayla Verstappen is a 16 year old, she has all her focus on her studies to hopefully achieve her dream of becoming a marine biologist.

They were always having an argument, like right now.

“Why can’t you just accept it’s the career I want to have!” Makayla said. “It’s not good enough Makayla, what good in the world does a marine biologist do?” Jos shouted.

“Mhm I don’t know! Making fucking looking after the animals and the planet?” Makayla shouted at him, something that she never had to courage to ever do until now.

“Don’t you dare shout at me, you know what will happen if you do that again? You’ll be out of this house” Jos spat has her. “I don’t wanna be there anyways!” Makayla said.

“Go then, I won’t care you are always in your bedroom all day everyday anyways!” Jos replied. “So, this is what you are doing? Kicking out a 16 year old!” Makayla exclaimed.

“Yes” Jos replied as Makayla just stared at him as he walked into the kitchen. She slowly made her way up to her bedroom to start packing a suitcase. After a few hours she had everything packed.

She was finally free.

Something that Max Verstappen wasn’t expected was to see his 16 year old sister the other side of this door, with a suitcase and a sad look on her face.

“Mack, how’d you get here?” Max asked her softly as helped her into his apartment and pulled her into a hug. The girl could see quite a few drivers there so she buried her head into his chest.

“C’mon, talk to us we won’t be able to help you otherwise” Daniel said as he walked over to the two siblings. “He kicked me out..” Makayla mumbled and all the drivers faces fell.

All that Max felt was anger, why in the world would his father kick out his daughter who is only 16 years old? He pulled out of the hug and went to go find his phone.

“Max! Don’t do anything please!” Makayla said as he tried to go after him but she was pulled into a hug by Lando. “Let him calm down,” Lando whispered.

Daniel went after Max to try to calm him down, Makayla had been led towards to couch and started to have a small chat with the drivers.

“Wait! What happens if I get put into care?! I’m not a legal adult!” Makayla exclaimed as Max appeared back into the room and wrapped his arms around his sister.

“Everything is going to be alright, I’ll get it all sorted out I promise you..” Max told her as he left a kiss on her forehead.

The whole Prema garage filled with cheers when Ollie crossed the line first place. His first win for the team, his first win in F2.

Madelyn was stood by Charles behind the barrier to see with three cars pull up. Arthur had got P3, when he got out the car he instantly ran to his siblings.

“First podium! Proud of you!” Madelyn told him as Arthur hugged her tightly. “Thank you Mads, I’m sure you are proud of Ollie as well” Arthur added.

Madelyn saw Ollie running to his team and family and started to celebrate his first win in F2 with them. Ollie took off his helmet and locked eyes with his girlfriend.

The Prema driver had a big smile on his face when he ran over to her and they hugged tightly. “I’m so proud of you, your first win baby!!” Madelyn exclaimed as they kissed.

“I love you,” Ollie mumbled and kissed her forehead. “I love you too Oll, I’ll catch up with you later okay? Now go and collect that trophy and celebrate” Madelyn told him.

“I sure will!” Ollie added as he walked away towards the podium. Madelyn smile brightly seeing her boyfriend and brother on the podium together.

Madelyn hid behind Charles as Arthur and Ollie sprayed a bit of their champagne over them. “Hey! I’m not a shield!” Charles told her.

“Well, you are now” Madelyn said as Charles rolled his eyes at his sister. Madelyn made a hear shape with her hands to Ollie, he replied with a wink.

“Awh look at you two, disgusting” Charles mumbled. “Shut up, this is why I like your girlfriend better than you” Madelyn added which made Charles nudged her slightly.

“Rude” Charles replied. “Just the truth, Charlie” Madelyn told him.

—the rookie driver Madelyn Leclerc finishes P3!! What a result for her and what a way to make her name in Formula 1! First podium for the rookie, we can’t wait to see what’s in the future for her!” Crofty exclaimed.

“P3 Mads!! What a drive, congratulations, you deserve this so much. Zhou P5, a brilliant result for the team!” Her race engineer called as he could hear the team celebrating in the background.

“Wooo!! Let’s go!! First podium babyyyy!! What a result for the team, c’mon let’s keep it going!!” Madelyn said with a big smile on her face, even though no one could see it.

Madelyn parked her car in the P3 spot, she instantly got out and ran to her crew. She then took her helmet off and ran to her brothers.

“So proud of you Mads,” Lorenzo said after pulling away from the hug. “Thanks Enzo,” Madelyn replied as Arthur pulled her into a tight hug.

“First podium for both of us this weekend, so proud of you!” Arthur told her. “Thank you!!” Madelyn replied as she felt two arms pick her up from behind.

“P3 Mads?! So proud of you, sis!” Charles exclaimed as he put her down and kissed her forehead. “Thank you Char, congrats on P2” Madelyn added.

Madelyn went over and drank some water before she was lifted up once again. “Congrats lil sis!” Max exclaimed and put her down.

Madelyn turned around and hugged him. “Thank you Max” Madelyn said with a smile. “You deserve it so much!” Max added. “Maddie!!” Pierre called.

Madelyn ran over to him and they hugged tightly. “So proud of you!! P3 in your rookie year?!” Pierre added. “Thank you, it’s crazy” Madelyn said.

After the interview, Madelyn made her way into the cool-down room. Charles and Max were already there, the three started to talk about the car while watching the replays before they were called for the podium.

Madelyn had a big smile on her face as she lifted the trophy up, she pointed to her team who cheered for her loudly.

Once it was time for the champagne, Max and Charles had teamed up against Madelyn. The young girl was drenched but she didn’t care at that moment.

She had just gotten her podium in formula 1 in her rookie year.

Madelyn had changed into new clothes after all the celebrations had finished. There wasn’t many people left in the paddock, Madelyn got all her things and made her way out of the garage.

When she did that, she finally saw the one person she wanted to see as soon as she crossed the line. Madelyn ran and jumped in Ollie’s arms.

“I’m so proud of you, Lyn!! You got a fucking podium in your rookie year in f1!!” Ollie exclaimed as they were hugging tightly.

“Thank you Oll,” Madelyn added as they kissed. “I’m sorry I wasn’t there at the podium” Ollie replied as they pulled away. “It’s okay, you’re here now” Madelyn mumbled.

“What a weekend for us, eh?” Ollie added. “What a weekend, indeed..” Madelyn said with a smile. “I love you so much” Ollie told her.

“I love you too Ol, c’mon race you to the entrance!” Madelyn said as she took off running. “Lynnie! That isn’t fair!!” Ollie shouted and ran after her.

The couple laughs could be heard by everyone who was still in the paddock, many crew members smiled at the young pair.

Two drivers who were still in the paddock, was Madelyn’s brother and teammate. The two Ferrari drivers watched the couple as they were also making their way towards the entrance.

“They are made for each other, I’m glad we both told you and Arthur off that day” Carlos said. “Glad you guys did that, I can see how much they belong together” Charles added with a smile.

a/n: Sorry for the wait, I haven’t had the motivation to write but I’m back now so expect more updates on the way !!

Madelyn had been staying with Ollie and ignoring Charles and Arthur ever since their argument. Maddie even ignored Charles on race weekends and some of the other drivers had caught on.

Madelyn was making her way towards the F2 paddock but she was stopped by a certain Dutch driver who wanted to know what has happened between the Leclerc siblings.

“Mads! What’s happened between you and Charles?” Max asked. “Why does it concern you?” Madelyn replied as some other drivers walked over.

“You can tell us Maddie, it’s probably Charles just being stupid and we will sort him out” Carlos told her. “It’s just about me and Ollie, Arthur is the same as him too” Madelyn said.

“Awh, you got a boyfriend little sis?” Lando teased. “I ain’t telling you guys anything” Madelyn replied. “That means yes,” Alex added as they all laughed.

“Okay whatever, can I go now? F2 qualifying is about to start,” Madelyn told them. “You know that’s where Arthur is going to be and I saw Charles walk over there too” Carlos added.

“I know, I’ll just be Ollie’s garage” Madelyn replied and before they could say anything else she made her way to the F2 paddock.

Madelyn clapped and had a big smile on her face when Ollie had gotten pole. Arthur had also qualified P3, she was very proud of the both of them.

While most of the team had made their way by the barriers to greet the three drivers that had qualified top three, Madelyn stayed in the garage.

It might of seemed strange to see Madelyn in the Prema garage, considering her brother was in a different garage. But Madelyn raced for Prema when she was back in F2 last year.

But she didn’t care if people commented on it.

She went into Ollie’s drivers room and waiting for him to come back after the interviews and everything else he was needed at.

Moments later the door opened, Madelyn stood up and made her way over to Ollie. The couple hugged tightly and Ollie kissed her cheek.

“Pole position!! I’m so proud of you!!” Madelyn said. “Thank you, aren’t you supposed to be getting ready for your qualifying?” Ollie asked.

“Yeah, I better be going I just wanted to wait for you to see you” Madelyn told him. “Awh, I love you. I’ll see you in your garage in a bit” Ollie added.

“You aren’t going to Ferrari?” Madelyn asked. “I don’t particularly want to see your brothers, as you was in my garage today as well so” Ollie said.

“Okay, I’ll see you soon. Love you!!” Madelyn replied. “I love you too!” Ollie called as Madelyn made her way out his drivers room, out of the garage and back towards the F1 paddock.

Charles and Arthur were making their way to the Ferrari garage, but before they could enter. Some of the drivers caught up with the two brothers.

“You still not talking to Mads?” Carlos asked. “Why does it matter to you?” Charles replied. “She’s your little sister! You’re ignoring her over something that is both your own doing!” Max added.

“Well, she shouldn’t of gone behind our back dating someone who is my ex teammate and my friend” Arthur replied. “She did it for a good reason as she knew you would both act like this” George said.

“I’m sure you both didn’t tell her straight away when you got into a relationship first?” Lando asked which made the both Leclerc brothers stay quiet. “Yeah, that’s what I thought” Pierre added.

“Just talk to her? She hasn’t had anyone supporting her this weekend other than Ollie. Who treats her very well and makes her happy, I don’t know how you both can’t see it” Max told them.

Charles was about to say something when they all turned around as they heard the familiar laugh of the youngest Leclerc sibling.

“Ollie! Stop!!” Madelyn squealed as she ran away from him. But he got her and started to to tickle her which made her laugh even more.

“Babe!!” Madelyn giggled. “Okay, sorry!! I couldn’t resist doing it,” Ollie laughed. Madelyn jumped on his back as he carried her back into her garage.

“Okay, maybe you all are right..” Charles mumbled. “Not maybe, we are right. You both are the only ones who can fix this” Carlos added.

Charles and Arthur looked at each-other, knowing what they needed to do..

The started to make their way to the Alfa Romeo garage.

"Mads, can we talk to you?" Charles asked as him and Arthur were outside her side of the garage "You need to talk to them, go" Ollie told her.

"Go in my drivers room, I will be there now" Madelyn told her brothers as they nodded and made her way to her drivers room. "I'll be fine here, now go and talk to them" Ollie said.

Madelyn made her way into her drivers room, closing the door when she entered and faced her two brothers. "What do you want to talk about?" Madelyn asked.

"We're sorry for the way we spook to you, we get now why you hid it from us because of our reactions.." Arthur said. "We can see how well Ollie treats you and we approve of the relationship" Charles added.

"I appreciate it, he does make me really happy. But, If I told you both at the beginning all of this could of been avoided so it's all my fault really.." Madelyn told them.

"Mads, it's not your fault. We know why you didn't want to tell us and also we never told you straight away if we had a girlfriend" Charles said. "We love you Maddie, can you forgive us?" Arthur asked.

Madelyn didn't say anything but instead wrapped her arms around her both brothers. "I do forgive you and i love you both too" Madelyn said as they all hugged tightly.

"So, what changed both of your minds?" Madelyn asked as they all pulled away. "Just some drivers, you have them wrapped around your finger don't you?" Charles added.

"Yeah I do, love them all!" Madelyn giggled.
