Here’s some gifs I made of some Pachislot Gyakuten Saiban (CR逆転裁判) footage. (Source is here, if the timestamp doesn’t work, it’s at 2:09:44).
I literally could’ve made a gifset out of any anime cutscene from the game, but I picked the one where Nick and Maya encounter Manfred in the Records Room because it was one that the anime didn’t adapt, and there’s a pretty well known compilation of Pachislot footage on YouTube that this is isn’t in. It’s so great to see such a big moment in the story animated so beautifully.
While I do think the 2016 anime is fun, I do hope that we get a really nice Ace Attorney OVA, anime movie, or something similar of this quality someday. In the meantime, I will continue to comb through footage of the pachislot game in the hopes of finding new things.

I made the courthouse for Phoenix and Maya to get married in on The Sims 4 because I can’t imagine them getting married anywhere else after reading @boo2020′s fic haha
This whole screenshot is hilarious to me; Maya looks like she’s saying something sassy during her vows, Edgeworth is literally rolling his eyes, Pearl is crying, Maggey and Gumshoe are cheering from the gallery and Trucy has somehow made her flowers disappear.
Apollo, Athena, Larry and Franziska were there too but they’re not in the screenshot
Also was genuinely impressed this actually worked, I thought they’d never go to the seats because they have to use a different door to get to them hahaha

I love both of these ideas! I'd also love it if their wedding was upcoming but they have a case they have to take that's unrelated, so they're out investigating and in court and Pearl and Trucy are trying to get all the last minute details of the wedding sorted
The case ends with a not guilty verdict for their client (obvs) and their wedding day going off without a problem (much to everyone's shock 😂)
As much as Id love for narumayo to become canon with a noticeble big and unavoidable wedding with all the murder mystery shenanigans being tightly tied to the fact that Phoenix Wright and Maya Fey are the ones getting married, (making it impossible to change anything within the story without changing the message, narrative and dare i say gameplay, and thus impossible to do """""fix-it""""" fanfics where the happy couple is a different one) and then you can present the ring like you present the attorney badge and shove it everones faces like they shoved the unnecesary feelings line (but this time is hella canon lol)....
Id also love, and think is more plausible, that theyll make it canon by just making a game like always where everything we love from the franchise is there and nothing really changed but Phoenix and Maya have wedding rings. And thats it. It is confirmed that those are their wedding rings because there are rings involved in a case and the description of the court record includes: "similar to the ones Maya and I have since we got married"
I believe that a small detail like that could cause a catastrophic disaster much greater than a big animated cinematic ever could~ but they should included that as an extra dlc or smthin 👀

Dear Matt,
I’ve been trying to get this place cleaned up for Mystic Maya’s return, but I fear it’s an unwinnable battle.
Otherwise, it’s so nice to be here again. Trucy and I have needed to catch up for a while and it’s been very nice getting to know Athena.

I’m glad to see you’re as concerned about her as I am. I never wouldn’t have thrown myself into the role of a dad if I’d have thought there were any other options. I sure never thought of myself as one when Pearls was with us…although that would explain all those “special someone” fantasies of hers, wouldn’t it?
I might be new to this, but if I can be a good parent figure just by being myself, something tells me I might have a chance. I’ll make a Wright out of Trucy yet!
