i've seen a lot of people talking about not being able to zoom in or ctrl+z when they go from digital to physical art, but i've seen nobody say anything about going from physical art to digital art and swiping your hand across your tablet after you erase something, as though there are eraser shavings lingering behind

This is a little vent post 🩵
I'm getting to a point where I'm completely and utterly exhausted by tragedy. In the last 20 months, I've officially, as of tonight, lost ten people- including both of my parents.
Ten people, three dogs and a cat.
Two years, fourteen lives. Two years of near nonstop loss, pain, grief and just... I don't know how many more funerals I have in me, I don't know how many more I can handle all lumped together like this, it's so much, man...
Between this, the state of the World and News, the shit happening to people I want to help but just can't.. I feel so fucking guilty for not doing more than I have but I can only spread myself (emotionally, mentally) so thin before I lose myself--- and I feel guilty admitting that, saying that, feeling it and feel even guiltier knowing now that spreading myself too thin was inevitable apparently
I lost a childhood friend tonight to a drunk driving accident
And I feel bad saying that I almost feel so used to the grief, so used to the loss, so normalized to it that it hurt but it still feels... Normal.
And I really, really don't want this to be my new normal
She was in my kitchen last week, bitching that I didn't have pickles on hand.
Ugh.
I just want to go more than three months without tragedy.
