I made art with these tapestries. This is not a great devourer, this is an Overlord in the form of a dragon. These tapestries tell the story of how FSM fought the Overlord and the stone army.
It just occurred to me to ask if anyone knows who even locked the Great Devourer away in the first place cause in the first season, the snake was literally underground and probably induced in a magical sleep (considering the fang blades woke it up.)
So far I’m theorising it was the FSM cause no one else really makes sense, and tbh if it was that makes me feel SOO aurghhhhh damn this family and my obsession over them.
I want Ninjago to tell me more about the FSM, fighting for more content smh

Even though I think about everything related to the FSM family, I have never thought about it. Probably FSM locked up the snake because it bit his son. But the creators of the cartoon are unlikely to ever will give us the answer. We have too many secrets related to the FSM family :(

The inherent tragedy in Wu and Lloyd unknowingly putting high expectations onto their first students because they experienced high expectations themselves and thought it was NORMAL.
The inherent tragedy in unknowingly pushing their kids away and making them think they’re not good enough i.e Lloyd saying Arin can be better and Wu believing that Morro is the green ninja
The inherent tragedy in them being GENUINE of these things because they don’t know how bad their kids feel. The fact that ‘you could be the green ninja’/ ‘you could be so much better’ stem from pride in their kids.
The tragedy in the fact that Lloyd and Wu genuinely believed their kids were the best and could be the best leading to their kids (maybe for Arin) downfall
Generational Trauma am I right guys…

(Just a lil side note I do hope people are more forgiving of Wu for his failings in Morro if they’re forgiving of Lloyd for maybe carrying out the same mistakes in the future in regards to Arin.)

THE DRAGON THAT HAD FSM WAS A SOURCE DRAGON!?!?!?!?
If the symbols mean the Source Dragons, and one is calling Lloyd, "One of mine" does that mean we finally may have info on the specific Dragon and Oni that had FSM?
I mean, we as a fandom don't look at that very much.........
BUT WHAT IF?!?!?!? Lloyd, Garmadon and Wu are descended from a Source Dragon?!?!?!?!
Or is it "one of mine," because Energy means Life?

Garmadon got bitten by the devourer when he was a kid, so there must be some snake DNA that got transferred to Lloyd after he's born.
