As I walk through the warm rain, the calming smell of petrichor wraps around me like not asked for, yet welcome hug.
All the chatter around me, people talking about their trivial lives, what to do now and what to do next.
And there I am.
Unable to consider half of the thing I wish I could.
I wish I could have lives like them. Worries akin to theirs. Is it unreasonable to ask?
The sudden warmth of the day hits me. As I look up, a rainbow, gentle as a whisper, reminds me of the fact that summer is approaching. And the cold, dark days will soon be over.
