I've been thinking about what I want my life to stand for. The kind of discernible thing where people can easily tell what I'm about when they look at me. What do I wish that to be? Better yet, what do any of us wish it to be? Seems like most don't even stop to think about it. Well, I heard a saying recently: "If you're just out here grinding for no reason, something will be able to make you quit, but if you have a reason for what you're doing and you know it, nothing will be able to stop you." @vicblends So it made me begin again to question my ultimate "why." It's sometimes easy to get lost in the monotony of life or the flow of your routines. Have you designed what you're doing to fill your cup? Also seems most of the time dreamers have the notion that once they "make it" (undefined, arbitrary fantasized level of success), they'll be fulfilled. I find it pretty easy to fall into the pattern when my baseline is aiming to be better. I think this way often, but have recently been feeling extra grateful. The recent trend of gratitude mindset has given me pattern interrupt enough to view my current patterns from this perspective and I have discerned a few things: 💎Lay the bricks now for your house later. Build the habits of character and behavior NOW you want for the future vision of yourself. 💎Life is brutal lots of times so you need many little things to fill your cup or a big reason to never give up. 💎Don't go through life passively. If you do, you'll wake up one day and wonder what happened to your edge and where all the time went. 💎You can change directions whenever. You have the power to choose something different if you don't like where you are currently. Here in 🇺🇲, today is President's Day.
