REFLECTION

Media and information literacy is important to us because they give us information about what's happening in our world every day. so for me, my reflection in the 1st quarter is like it's unexpected because I thought media is just about news and social media but I don't know where media and Literacy came from or started. So I'm happy that we tackled media and information because I've learned a lot about media and Literacy and I'd also want to thanks my teacher miss Lissa because even though our lesson is online she still managed to tackle our lesson clearly and I learned a lot from her. So that why media and information are important in every people because media and information are the way to communicate with the people that we want to talk to, especially that we are facing a pandemic situation. And All of the things that we need are from social media, media, and Literacy, nowadays.

Media And Information Sources,

Media And Information Languages

Media and Information sources are the way of searching for information that you want to find out and finding information that you want to search for, and sources are where it came from that Information. Media and Information sources are important to us because this the way where you'll know what's happening in our world every day, they give us information too and they update always what happening in our world especially nowadays that we mostly need information about what happening in our world. While media and Information Languages it is the technique that if you want your sentence to be constructed properly you should always put the message, audience, producers, and other stakeholders. A language that you can use everywhere when you want to communicate with other foreign countries. And lastly, while we talking about media and Information we should be always careful of news that we are spreading because you don't if it is legit or not, so you should do deep research if you want to find out a real Information.

Information And Literacy And Types of Media

Nowadays media is important to us, especially that we are facing a pandemic situation. We should always active or know what happens in our world. Media give us information and sources. We need to know if that source is legit because sometimes some media is not legit so we should be careful too with the information that you are spreading. The Internet is communication with the people, especially nowadays that we can't have face to face, in the meantime, we use social media just to communicate with the people that you want to talk to. And Social media is important too because this is the new technique that we need to communicate and for online classes, etc. Media is involving every year like k-pop our pop culture. K- pop is the most popular genre of the media, they are famous worldwide. Every year they have a new genre so for me media is important and useful, nowadays.

Evolution of Media

Before the social media that are mostly used nowadays is there’s an evolution in media or media in the 1900s. A media how and where it from started and how they discovered the media and the process of media how they do it and make it faster communication and develop the internet or the high tech technologies. there’s one example of the evolution of media it is a video where is the character is Mickey mouse , well when I watched that video it is different from what we always watched nowadays because nowadays were mostly using new high-tech technologies which are different on that video that I watched. And Before Facebook, Twitter, and google there are some media they’d used in the past 1900s.

Introduction to Media and Information Literacy

The lesson that I've learned about media and information literacy is the Introduction to Media and Information Literacy.

Media and Information Literacy has seven definition terms, like media means is used for communicate or mass communicate through physical objects such as radio, television and etc.

The Media and Information Literacy has five laws that laws means when it comes to your media you need to sure if it is really real and legit not just of what you heard, you will easy to believe. They'd should always confirm if it's legit news and you should know how to communicate with others and not to be an introvert because if we don't have media and information in our life we will never known what's happening in our world.
