Regression surgery. As soon as Tony and Bucky had read about the success stories where unruly Littles refusing to regress where made into cooing and cuddly babies with just a few snips, the husbands had immediately called their acquaintance and surgeon Stephen Strange to set up a consultation appointment. The doctor was more than happy to see Peter and his two Daddies and had even set up time to do the procedure on the same day, if he found Peter to be in a fit state for the procedure.
To say the two husbands were excited was an understatement. They were over the moon and had been a bit kinder with their boy for the following week. And now the day was finally here, and Tony walked on light feet to the nursery.
“Petey pie, it’s time to wake up.” He said softly as he stepped into the dark room, flicking on the main light before walking over to Peter’s crib. “Oh, you’re awake already. Did you wait for Dada?” He cooed, stroking the boy’s cheek with a light finger.
Peter winced when the main light was flicked on, and a man suddenly appeared over his bedside (or cribside, Peter guessed). It was Tony, one of his two ‘Daddies’ that had taken him from his real family over a year ago to indulge in their fucked-up family roleplay, where Peter was forced to behave like a three year old for his captors’ entertainment.

“Good, but not good enough.” Tony quipped, landing on the roof of the skyscraper with precision.
“I don’t need tips from you.” Peter barked back, trying his hardest not to clutch his injured side.
He swung a fist at him, but the man redirected his arm and once his hands were close enough to Peter’s chest, it didn’t take more than a second for him to be shoved to the floor.
“Evidently, you do.”
Peter slammed his fist against the ground, regretting it the instant Tony’s laugh followed, loud and mocking.
“Frustrating, isn’t it?” His shadow cast over Peter as he stepped closer to him. “Trying so hard and still not being strong enough to stop me?”
They had been fighting for hours. He was ashamed to admit that Tony was winning.
“Shut up.” Peter spat, glaring up from the man’s shoes. Tony Stark stood larger than life above him, grinning like the evil fucker he was.
“Look at you.” Tony teased, bending down next to him. “You’re so little. So weak.”
Tony reached out a hand towards his face, towards his mask, but Peter smacked it away, seething.

So it’s sad late hours and I can’t get over Tony’s last look at Peter, his eyes following his every movement and showing a mix of triumph (“You’re here and I’d do it again again, it was worth it”) and sorrow (“Wish we had more time, kid”). I can’t help but wonder what his last words to Peter would be, had he been able to talk. Maybe an “I...you” and we would be left to fill the gap? Can’t decide between “I love you” or “I trust you” but since Edith took care of the second let’s go with the first one, shall we?
