Marley's arms wrapped a little tighter around her waist, keeping her close and steady as she kissed her, the hum in Victoria's throat making her head spin and she melted more into the warmth of her lips, memorizing the flavor she found there until she broke gently away. The breath of her words ghosted her lips and Marley nodded softly, knowing her skin was cooler than the other girls, not freezing but just...she had no heat to offer her without her little parlor tricks and water. "Yeah...of course." She nodded, stepping back and dropping her hand to Victoria's so she could lead the way inside the bar door, the lights still on though it was empty of people for after hours.
Victoria’s arms wrap gently around Marley’s neck. She pulled herself as close as she could to her, as she hummed lightly into the kiss. Victoria never wanted to part her lips from the icy ones of Marley, but she pulls away only slightly to speak. “Can we go inside?” She asks as a shiver runs up her spine from the cold air outside.

I assumed there was some kind of tradition I just.....wasn't really schooled with a Coven so think of me as a stray lacking the witch common knowledge.

They’ll have to perform the 7 wonders of course.

Marley doesn't even try to hold her breath and she doesn't want to, instead pulling Victoria into her lungs as she parts her lips just enough to capture her lower. The warmth of the other girl is somehow so easily capable of relaxing every part of her, melting into her and just craving to be close. Victoria naturally teaches her a gentleness that a vampire shouldn't be able to learn, something Marley's struggled to hold onto but it's effortless when touching her and her right hand runs lightly down her neck, tracing a cool path down her shoulder and arm to claim home lightly on Victoria's hip.

Victoria grins as she is pulled into Marley. Her eyes slowly close as cold lips touch her forehead. There was nothing she wanted more than to be close against her. Feeling her lips lightly against hers, she leans into it, pressing their lips closer together.

Ducking her head she smiles at Victoria's words. "I couldn't ever forget how that went." she whispers, her hands reaching lightly for the other girl. "Comere." She breathes, her fingers going to comb back through her blonde hair over ears as she pulls her gently closer against her, pressing her lips to her forehead for a moment of breathing her in, the scent calming her completely. "I think about it too. All the time." Bringing her right hand to brush along Victoria's jaw she tilts her chin up slightly, resting her forehead into hers for a moment before grazing her lips over the warmth of Victoria's.

"I’m glad it helps." She smiles and looks down at the ground and then back up at her. "You know, I cant stop thinking about when we kissed.."

Setting her jaw Marley pushed harder, her exertion trying to pull a sharp breath from her lungs but with her teeth clenched in her focus she didn't allow it. Despite the scent trying to reach her in the ocean wind she brought the wall up higher, her midnight eyes following it up to watch the way the moon light sparkled through it. Her eyes fell away just as quickly, recognizing the scent of the person nearby and she let her hands fall in defeat to her sides as she dropped down to sit in the sand. She hadn't talked to Avery since the attack on the Coven and she felt relief knowing she was okay. It was the war in her head that made her fall now, the water crashing down in front of her and making the sand tremble though not one drop touched her and she brought one hand to run through her curls just watching the ocean settle. "Caught me." She whispered, remembering Avery's words from days ago about not making the waves too big.
A very had spent the last few days between her hotel and the coven. The draining of her power had physically drained her badly and she was only now almost back to her full strength. She strode along the beach, something as familiar to her as back home and tried not to be overcome with worry. She moved her hand slightly by her side, creating little spirals and swirls in the sand before her as she walked. It kept her mind off the fact that Fiona had been killed and she’d have to deal with a new Supreme. The Coven had been barely holding together and she wondered how the new Supreme would fair rebuilding. Once she was identified of course. She sighed as she continued to walk, spotting a figure in the distance and frowning. The person was familiar and she stepped closer, wondering if it was one of the witches from the Coven. She stopped when she realized it was Marley and wondered if she should approach or leave the vampire be.

So quickly Marley became sensitive to the changes in Victoria's body, the tensing of her muscles and the way her heart changed in it's typical beats. It made her set her jaw soundly, lifting her head from the top of Victoria's so her blue eyes could look down the hall and around them. She could hear people in other rooms, hear the panicked chatter as they filled each other in on everything that happened from every viewpoint. "We can go upstairs and talk or...." Victoria had been upstairs and Marley bit her tongue, not wanting anything up there to trigger or upset her until the house was cleaned up and brought back t it's original state. "I can take you to my studio over the bar and make you something to eat and we can talk there. Whatever you want. I'm not going anywhere regardless." she whispers, ducking her head to meet Victoria's eyes and bringing her hand to tilt her chin up just slightly before she pressed her cooler lips to the corner of her mouth, merely innocent and honest in her care for the other girl.
Victoria had tensed thinking about what happened. Of course she didn’t kill him, only shot him in the leg. Lacey was the one that killed him. But still hearing his scream when the bullet hit his thigh was enough. Back in Oregon, she was told that she might encounter hard situations. Ones that would test her morals and her aunt was afraid that she might lose who she was. Victoria thought she knew what she would be in for, but she was completely wrong. Using her powers and wit against an enemy was one thing, but guns were different and they took something out of you with each bullet that pierces the skin. She sighed, “I am.. Not sure if I could sleep after this.”

Marley's eyes soften hearing Victoria's words, really hearing them and feeling her mind relax more to the girl beside her and she let her eyes close to the warmth of the kiss she planted on her cheek, hugging her closer when her head fell to her shoulder again. She rested her cheek gently to the top of Victoria's head, breathing her in quietly as she listened and it was like she needed that scent to stay calm hearing that Victoria had been faced with what she had been. "I would take that from you in a heartbeat." she whispers, meaning it. "You shouldn't have been faced with that at all but I'm really glad you're okay." she says honestly, bringing her free hand to brush soothingly through her soft hair for a few moments. "Are you tired?"
Victoria listened to her, and then shook her head. “You are not a monster. Far from it. Those men who were out there are the real monsters.” She leans up and kisses her cheek and then immediately falls back to Marley’s shoulder.”I..” She bit her bottom lip, “A few men got in through the windows.I shot one of them…” Her voice wavered slightly.

The Days That Follow... || Marley & ???
Her humanity had slipped in the days that followed the attack on the New Orleans Coven, two restless days and nights pulling at her focus to stay in control of who she was when all she could see was blood on her cream skin. Standing now, staring at the dark shoreline of the ocean at midnight, she let her blue eyes darken to match the shade of the water. It seemed a new war was raging in her head and trying to overpower her previous one and her gaze sharpened on the expanse of water before her, her hands reaching out to the waves and pushing power from her fingertips until each one crashing into the shore shuddered violently. The ocean tried to continue it's ever long routine of hitting the shore but Marley forced them back, building a wall to tower over her, growing higher as the power trembled through her veins and heavy breath left her lips with the darkening of her eyes. A new scent tainted the salty air and made her body tense suddenly, knowing she wasn't alone anymore on this beach but unable to care.

Marley stayed gentle on her lips, her body reacting to each move she made, the soft hum that left her. Flexing her fingers lightly in her hair Marley felt the moment she pulled away and her blue eyes flickered open to find her, studying her softly. She could feel the weakening state of the girl's magic, her pulse so slightly slower. "You need to sleep..." she whispered. "I can take home or....you can stay and I can take the couch or...are you hungry?" she asks, ready to pull herself to her feet to get her anything she needed.
Victoria hummed a bit into the kiss. She parted her lips only slightly, still very much nervous. She was surprised Marley was being so gentle, after seeing her in the woods. Suddenly, her heart started racing even faster, what if she slipped up? What if she accidentally hurt her? A whole stream of ‘what-ifs’ played through her mind. A flighty feeling began to well up in the pit of her stomach. She pulled away suddenly, afraid she might change and Marley would have to deal with a passed out bird.

"It's not that exactly.." Marley sighed softly as Victoria touched her cheek, knitting her eyebrows in thought for a moment and she brought her free hand to brush a strand of blonde hair from her face. "I mean ultimately I know I did what I had to do but I guess it's just a matter of controlling that part of me. Like I don't worry so much about hurting you or anyone I care about. The thought doesn't even cross my mind, it's not even an option at all. I'm actually a little proud that I got the job done without really losing myself." She admits. "I think I'm always more worried that the people I care about are gonna see the monster I am and then I'm gonna have no choice but to be exactly that. Don't wanna let anyone down after all." Marley smiles weakly, a soft breath of a laugh. "What um....what happened? You were upstairs right?"
She shook her head, staring back into her blue eyes, “I’m not mad.. Not at you at least. I can’t be, you didn’t do anything wrong.” She furrowed her brow, looking down to where her hand rested. “You need to stop being afraid that you are going to hurt someone. The more you think you will, the more likely it is to happen.” Her other hand reached up to touch the girls cheek. “You are more than what you think you are.”

Marley squeezed her arm gently, resting her chin on the top of her head. "No don't let me off that easily..." she whispers, chancing a look down at Victoria and ducking her head to meet her eyes. "Don't let me off. You're allowed to be mad or scared whatever you need to be okay." Marley breathes, her blue eyes following Victoria's hand and she sunk a little lower on the wall, her eyes closing for a long moment and just feeling the warmth sitting next to her.
Victoria nestled her head into Marley’s shoulder. She wanted to be mad at her for all the men she killed but couldn’t bring herself to be. Marley helped save the coven and she a hell of a lot more than Victoria did. “It’s okay, Mare, really.” She let go of her hand, letting hers fall to the Vampire’s thigh, giving a small squeeze. “You helped save us. That’s all that matters.”
