About Me
My name is Trinity Morgan. Art has always been a special escape for me, like most people. Digital has been my focus as it's easy to pick up and put down and it’s rewarding. I'm currently wrapping up a degree in fine arts but funny thing about college is you don't learn much. I've learnt more from experience and online than in my 3 years of college. My skills aren't nearly where I want/need them to be but this page will be for sharing my artistic journey and learnings so I can look back and see my skill and style progression.
ARTIST STATEMENT
Growing up, my favourite class was always art, and I was rarely ever not singing, dancing or creating. After graduating from my arts high school, I knew I wanted my life to focus on art. After teaching art in my senior year of high school, I knew that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
As my art style continues to develop and my artistic taste changes, I've noticed my focus steer mostly towards sculpture, digital art and fine line drawings. My art at the moment focusses on healing my inner child and enjoying the artistic process. My styles tend to swap between very colourful and whimsical, to dark topics with a black and white pallet. I've been focusing on the more whimsical side of my art lately as to heal from the past and focus on the present.
I'm not like many artists who create art all of their art from their stories or emotions. I enjoy creating interesting things that come to mind that I assume will be amusing to create or display. My focus leans towards impressionism. I do not always like creating things the way they are, but I like creating things the way I portray them in my head or the way I wish them to be.
Feel free to send me a message on here for anything!

What You See, Isn't What You Get (2021)
Mixed Media
This was a sculpture I made as a celebration to myself for getting off medication I was on. These medications were a temporary fix, but were crippling me. I created the base shape using cardboard and clay. I then used drywall mud for the "icing" after adding paint to the mix to give it colour. I finished this piece by gluing real medication I had that was going to be taken to the pharmacy to be disposed of.
( The medication used for this cake are not ones I was taking, they were chosen because of the colours. The pills were taken out and disposed of properly.)

Find It (2022)
Digital
This piece took me 60h to draw. I made it for my friend who treasures ISpy and beat her game. This work ended up being so difficult and time consuming that I ended up duplicating a lot of the items and colouring them differently for variety. This isn't a good piece based on technicality but was something very fun for me to make and share.

a house is not a home (2023)
Digital
I lived in 14 different houses before I was 12. I call wherever I'm sleeping that night "home". Just because someone's name is on the lease, doesn't bring meaning to the word home. Home to me is where my loved ones are. Where I feel wanted and cared for. Home for me is never where it's supposed to be.
