Marcel would've gladly married Aarin tomorrow if that was what she wanted, but he also felt like a wedding was what she deserved, regardless of how big or small they decided to make it. "Good, I'm glad--" He told her, "I was worried there you were going to suggest next or even the following year." He chuckled softly though he'd do it of course. Anything for her. "Hmm you that excited to be referring to yourself as Mrs. Vaughn, huh?" He quipped, watching her as she removed her bra, smirking as his hands moved to place at the small of her waist. "I mean, I get it." He added, shrugging cockily before smirking. "Oh, are we not taking any of the things we just discussed before into consideration? Damn, okay, you really have faith in me right now--" He thought for a second, "I guess desired venue?" @aarinxduskin
Tumblr media
"Hmm," her lips pressed into a slight smile with his suggestion before they parted to release a grin. "A wedding this year sounds absolutely perfect if you ask me," she leaned in to touch her lips to the tip of his nose, "August of this year, we may have to rely on some personal favors to get it all done that quickly," she teased, "but I don't think I can wait any longer," Aarin stated, leaning back a little to reach her hands behind her back. A mischievous smile tugged on the corner of her lips as she unhooked her bra and slipped it off from underneath her romper. "What else can we plan, now?" @marcelvaughn

Marcel was glad the two had decided to do this as there was just something he really enjoyed about spending time with his aunt. She was a lot of fun, and if Marcel admitted it to himself, she'd always been his favorite. "Sure thing!" He smiled when she mentioned his uncle might like it. It had been a while since the two had hung out, so it was about time he hit him up. With a soft chuckle he took his drink and finished off the remaining of his beer in one large gulp. "Yeah.. I miss it, sometimes. Except the early morning practices. Those were a bitch!" It didn't help he did something similar with his own team now. @makaylahoffmann
Tumblr media
Msck hhad no doubt that Aarin and Marcel would be able to plan a wedding, but she still wanted to offer. She liked to help and she would do anything and everything she could if they needed it. Despite being his aunt, they were somewhat close in age and close in general. "Oh trust me, I know you're good for it," she said with a chuckle and gave him a wink. "You got it," she replied regarding who would pay for what round, alternating between the two of them. Waiting for their next drink, she gently drummed on the counter of the bar as she turned to her nephew. "Definitely, I think he'd like that very much," she only knew sports because of her brothers, not because she was a fan. She had been to some games growing up and then when Marcel made it big. But overall she wasn't much of a fan herself. "Mhm that's true. Also not everyone gets to the big game, so always remember that too," she reminded him. Always trying to see the brighter side of things, she couldn't help but extend that to everyone she spoke with. @marcelvaughn

Marcel slightly stiffened at his brothers remark. It kind of served like a blow to the face, especially considering he no longer had a hot shot football career, but had rather managed to mess that one up pretty badly. "Right.." He hummed a little below his breath, "I didn't know you'd be out here tonight." He added, probably would have thought twice about coming if he had. "This were you work now?" @chasevaughn
Tumblr media
Chase turns his head to look around the bar instead of in the direction of his older brother. He's never been able to pinpoint what his issue with the other Vaughn is, all he knows is his brother gets under his goddamn skin more than any other person in the entire town. Maybe, the whole world. "Right... Not all of us can be hot shot football players like you."

"I am sure there are people out there who will be needing your services." Marcel told her, not really worried about her and her business as she was good at what she did. "Maybe even some more than me." He chuckled softly as he leaned back a little more in his seat. He nodded his head at her question. "Yeah, we have. We are keen to try do it this year so all hands on deck trying to make that happen." @dilaraxbaysal
Tumblr media
"It's going to be tough," Dilara joked with Marcel, "but I think the business will survive," she was more than certain it would. However, Dilara would be missing prime opportunity to not joke with Marcel in the moment. "Oh, well," Dilara grimaced, rather dramatically, as if she heavily disagreed with him, "that's exactly what I was going to say." Dilara teased again, lips parting with laughter as she spoke. "Good press is great." Though she knew he already knew that. "You both started planning yet?" @marcelvaughn

"Better to be busy than bored." He shrugged back at her, or so his dad had always used to say when he was growing up and had been complaining about school work. "That is good." He nodded, "I um.. Heard about your dad. I'm sorry for your loss." He told her as his mother had mentioned it just after it had happened, though he didn't think there was a chance she'd return. "I am yes--"He nodded, "To Aarin, I don't know if you remember her?" But then again who didn't? "We are still mapping out the details. It's harder than you think trying to plan a wedding." @alicexcheung
Tumblr media
"Yeah, busy," she agreed with him, "which I don't mind." How could she possibly mind being busy when being busy kept her from having awkward run-ins in town, though it had not saved her from this one. "She's been more welcoming," more welcoming than Alice knew that she deserved, however, she wasn't going to take her younger sister for granted this time. "I, uh, heard you're engaged, congratulations." Alice offered the congrats with a small smile, "When's the big day?" @marcelvaughn

"That never stopped us from teasing you every chance we got though." He chuckled back at her, or at least that had been the case for him. He'd always loved teasing his younger sister, though it had eased up after Logan passed away and he had started focusing on football as his own way to process his death. Marcel nodded his head, "Alright, well I will do my best." He told her, "Well.. her engagement ring is in white gold, but I do think the majority of her other stuff is in gold." He told her, "Like her necklaces and such." @alliannahvaughn

"Someone had to put you guys in your place." she laughed, shaking her head at his comment about her being bossy. "Growing up as the only girl in the family - and the youngest at that - I had to learn to put you guys in your place a long time ago." she laughed. Though when he sat and the conversation re-shifted to Aarin's jewelry, she nodded. "Anything you can do is great. I really just need some inspiration. Something I can use without it being too obvious that I had you snooping. I don't want her to get any ideas that I'm up to something and she knows just enough that if she finds out your taking them for me she'd probably put two and two together and guess. Do you at least know what color she prefers? Gold, silver or rose gold?" @marcelvaughn

Truth was, Marcel really didn't have any self control when it came to her. He never really had, not even in high school. It was just something about how his attraction to her always pulled him in and made him loose all common sense. He leaned back on the couch to make some better room for her when she shifted to sit on his lap, hands placing themselves against her thighs as he let his thumb gently caress the curve of them while he said, "We are in April now, so I guess it might make sense with a Autumn or even Winter wedding, if we want to do it this year?" He suggested, "Though I wouldn't mind if we aimed for August." It was a good month in his opinion as it was right before the football season. @aarinxduskin
Tumblr media
"I'm glad to hear that you might not have any sort of self control when it comes to me," Aarin teased him right back. "That feels like a win-win to me," her teeth pressed into her bottom lip as she looked at him. "When do we want to get married, month wise? "Aarin questioned, moving so that she was now straddling him on the couch. Her hands moved to rest on his shoulders. "Are we thinking this year?" Truthfully, like he said, she'd marry him right here on this couch and she wasn't sure how long she could wait. @marcelvaughn

Reaching for her hand, he took it in his own, giving it a small squeeze. “I know.” He told her reassuringly. If anyone knew the details about his relationship with his brother, how it had gone from sweet to sour, it’d be Aarin. She understood better than most, so he knew it was all coming from a place of good intent. Slowly his lips turned upwards into a wide grin, eyes glancing over his wife to be, before he chucked softly. “I am glad to hear that you think I have any sort of self control when it comes to you.” He told her playfully, “At this rate, we’ll have the wedding done and you naked in no time.” @aarinxduskin
Tumblr media
"No pressure, okay?" Aarin placed her hand overtop of his as he placed it onto her knee. The last thing Aarin would ever do to Marcel is force him to reconcile with his younger brother. He never forced her to be close with Owen or her step-mother when her father got remarried - it all happened in its own time. A giggle bubbled over her lips as his lips brushed against her skin as he spoke. The lightness tickled like a feather, "Mm, I like the way you think," she stopped her hand, "how about," Aarin began to suggest, tipping her head to the side, "for each little thing we plan," her teeth captured her bottom lip, "I will remove a piece of clothing." Which, as spring had brought a bit of warmth, were not plentiful in nature. @marcelvaughn

An olive branch, that was one way to look at it, and he hadn't until Aarin mentioned it. He just pulled his shoulders into a small shrug, the thought of his younger brother not exactly bringing up a lot of happy memories from the more recent years, and only served as a heartache from the time they had been thick as thieves. "I'll think about it." He responded eventually, forcing a small smile as his hand moved to rest on her knee, giving it a small squeeze. "Mmm--" He mumbled against the skin while his lips continued to press against it. "As long as you don't mind it coming off in whatever transport we might take to venue, sure--" He teased, looking down at her hand rubbing against his thigh. "You better stop that right now, or I will devour you." He warned her with a playful twinkle in his eye. @aarinxduskin
Tumblr media
"That's entirely up to you, babe," Aarin told him, knowing that his relationship with his brother was not the best, "it could seen as the extension of an olive branch?" Perhaps the offer of Chase being groomsmen would allow the brothers to grow closer. "I think so, too," she was happy to find that they were agreeing on the fronts thus far when it came to the wedding. "Oh, yeah?" Aarin bit down on her bottom lip as his lips teased along the skin of her neck. "I hope you also promise that it ends up on the floor the moment we are alone." Aarin teased, her hand rubbing against his thigh. @marcelvaughn

“Good, good—“ He cleared his throat, “Because I haven’t given it much thought. I am kind of on the fence whether or not to ask Chase to be a groomsman?” He added, unsure if it was a good idea or not all things considered. “Okay, yeah four sounds like a decent number, at least to start.” He found himself agreeing, hand gently caressing the skin of her back as he looked down at her with a smile, “It’s like you said, we’ve got time. There is no rush.” Regardless of how badly he wanted to marry her. Leaning down, he let his lips tease the skin of her neck, “Though I can’t wait to see you in that wedding dress.” @aarinxduskin

Marcel thought about her question for a moment, "I mean.." He paused again, only to sigh, "I haven't really given it much thought if I am being honest with you." He admitted. Who did he want up there next to him when they would be giving each other's their I do's? "Can I get back to you on that? Unless you already have thought about who you want up there with you, which would give me a number of people I need to think of?" He attempted to bargain as he looked at her with slightly pleading eyes. @aarinxduskin

Marcel had complete faith in his wife to be. She had always been the organized one out of the two, practically helped him pass high school in the first place while tutoring him back in the day, so he was confident she was more than capable to get this done, but he would absolutely extend his aunt's offer to her in case they needed some advice on something. "You sure? You know I am good for it--" He chuckled, "But if you get the next, I'll get the one after that." He told her before waving down the bartended on duty to order himself another beer. "Yeah, he is great. I should drag him out to watch some football together in the near future." He stated, before making a mental note to be true to his words. He nodded understandingly, "Yeah, I got lucky for the amount of time I got to play for." He agreed, though now he was living off of his high school coach salary which humbled him in another way. @makaylahoffmann

"Any time, and I mean it," she replied and patted his hand. And she did mean it, she'd be more than happy to help. To help him with anything or to help Aarin with anything. Marcel was family and soon Aarin would be, so of course she'd offer to help. A small chuckle escaped her lips, nodding as she knew what he meant, she had seen it firsthand with Aarin. "That's true, girl knows what she's doing," though it never hurt to have a little help or the potential for some help. "I got the next round by the way," chimining in as Marcel finished his drink, though hers was only halfway empty. "That he is, I always reflect on how lucky I am. And how lucky the kids got by having Ethan as their dad." plus he treated her side of the family really well and her parents liked him. "I mean it's not too different. Though the pay is not nearly as much as you guys get." She couldn't help but add that little comment in, though she understood how rare it was to be able to play a sport professionally. @marcelvaughn

Event planner. Had there been any other person, Marcel would likely have jumped on the chance to ask if they were free to help plan a wedding, but he didn't think this might be the right or best match for it. Especially considering he was hoping Julian would have the time to be his best man. "I see. So busy then." He said, at least that was what it sounded like to him. "I am guessing your sister is glad to have you back." @alicexcheung
Tumblr media
"Yeah," she answered Marcel's question, knowing that it was hardly the answer that most people wanted to hear. Alice knew that staying in town was going to come with its consequences but it was clear on how much she had missed out on, especially with her sister and her son. "I've been working as a freelance event planner," she told him, "spending a lot of time with my sister and her son, too." @marcelvaughn

Marcel was about to take it as a compliment, when he realized what it actually meant. "Damn, I really am aren't I?" He jested, "Hopefully you won't run out of business when I stop going rogue." He added before he sipped off of his drink again. He chuckled softly at her choice of words, "Yeah, I am a catch, what can I say?" He smirked back at Di, obviously joking as anyone knew Aarin was the real catch. Hell, he'd been lucky she was still single when he arrived back in town and got chatting to her when he did. "From what I hear, it was like that for a lot of people." He nodded. "At least it was some good press for once."
Tumblr media
"I have to agree with you there," Dilara laughed with the thought. High school was an entirely different world and though she was responsible one in the Baysal household, it still came with its own challenges. "You're my best client, yes," she teased him back, though he had been the least difficult client she's ever had. "Please, she won't change her mind." She shook her head, "If for some reason she does, then I'm convinced hell is freezing over." She told Marcel with another laugh. "I did," she grinned, "it was all over my feeds." @marcelvaughn

Marcel nodded, sipping off of his beer while Lance elaborated on his question, "Productive then." He smiled back at him, following the axe as he threw it. "Oh yeah, I did too." He nodded, "I kind of aspire to be a little like my coach, at least in some ways." He did owe the man a lot after all considering where he was and had made it in his life through his career. "You got to push them, but also get through to them in a way they respond to." He shrugged before picking up a new axe, getting ready to throw it again once the board was clear.
Tumblr media
Lance knew he should not be surprise about Marcel's throw, the male was good especially since they were a former NFL player. He could see how skilled they were. Lance did not really follow up much on football all that much, but he had seem clips of Marcel in action though. "Today was good, relaxing. Caught up on some errands, planning on going biking tomorrow," he answered looking back at Marcel as he answered. His attention was at the target after speaking, picking up an axe and throwing it. It was a decent throw. "I had my friends who play football in high school, they had a tough coach who really pushed them," he spoke after his throw and after turning turning around. @marcelvaughn

Aarin easily melted into the touch of Marcel. It was easy to be distracted by him, especially as his lips met her own. "I know you do," she wrinkled her nose with a smile. "It is an option," she smiled at him as he wrapped his arm around her. "I love the way you think," it was a thoughtful offer to include the children, so long as the parents wanted to bring them with. It gave them an out, should they see one necessary. "How many people total are you having be groomsmen?" Aarin figured it would be pertinent to have an idea of how many ladies she had to include on her side. @marcelvaughn
