I've always thought it was hilarious when I saw fics of Bruce talking to the league about his "babies" early on and managing to convince most of them that he's got a bunch of very young kids at home just by virtue of how he talks about them.
And then they need some backup on a mission and he announces that he has backup incoming and Clark says something like "oh, you called the kids?" And just when they're all about to start telling Bats that his kids are definitely too young to be showing up to this kind of fighting the Red Hood himself comes in guns blazing.
afterwards when the fightings over he's just standing menacingly behind bats during the debrief and they're all far too freaked out to say anything about it, especially when he very slowly leans forward until he's actually toughing Batman himself and Batman only reacts to reach up and pat him on the top of his helmet the same way someone might pat their kid on the head.
when they get back to the cave Jason spends the next hour bitching about how dumb that was, "why would you go on a mission like that without the proper backup? If any of us did that we'd never hear the end of it, but look at you mister do what I say not what I do!!!!"

I love it. It makes me think about how obsessed I am with the Bats and B being super open with touch and body language around each other but as soon as anyone else gets close they back off and stare.

I've read a bunch of fics, especially some crossovers, where Red Hood is or was on the FBI's most wanted list. A couple where he's on like the CIA's or Interpol's or something. But do you know what I'd find hilarious?
He's on absolutely none of them.
A big fanon thing, and sometimes canon (looking at you, No Man's Land), is that the federal government just kind of... doesn't get involved in Gotham? It's just left to it's own devices.
So combine that with both Gothamites-hate-outsiders and the idea that there are so many more/worse people to deal with than the crime boss who's somehow been bringing crime down, and, well. Sure, they have a file on the guy, but it's bare bones and nowhere near the top priority list.
Even funnier is if this is pre-reveal, so Batman doesn't know it's Jason that's running around taking over crime and whatever, he's just busy trying to find out who this guy who put a bunch of heads in a duffel bag is. He makes some small comment about it at some JL meeting and everyone is like, whomst?
Like sure, people outside of Gotham who do hear about Red Hood are horrified, but also it's... normal? Isn't that normal for Gotham? They all hear so many crazy stories coming out of Gotham that who knows what's exaggerated or not, but that's not even... that weird? Like, gory, sure, but... it's Gotham.
Just every outsider's views of Gotham being so skewed and/or biased that hardly anyone blinks an eye at some rising crime boss in the most crime-ridden city on the planet.

okay so there were a ton of posts/fics about the hilarious "fuck/maryy/kill" Bruce Wayne & Justice League scenario (I read them all, amazing comedic timing y'all) but to me, the most hilarious scenario is the JL play fuck/marry/kill, Bruce's name comes up, and half of the people in the room in the know immediately turn bright red and refuse to keep playing and no one will explain why.
Hal: "...and I would fuck Bruce Wayne. No, I would kill him. Nah, actually I'd fuck him, who am I kidding."
Clark: choking on his coffee and rapidly turning an alarming shade of red
Diana: "An....interesting choice, of course."
J'onn: "Shall we play a different game?"
Hal: "Wait, what? that was the game, wasn't it?"
Ollie: "I'm with Hal, I'd fuck the shit out of Bruce. He's the easiest guy I know, it's not like it'll exactly be a hardship for him."
*every single person in the room turns to Batman, standing in the corner*
Clark: "Wow! I think I just heard someone drop an ice cream cone in Guatemala. Batman, I'll need a team up."
Ollie: "For ice cream?"
Diana, standing up and putting herself in between Bruce and Hal: "This sounds dire. I will also assist."
Clark, under his breath, one hand on Bruce's back: "It's not worth it. He's not worth it. Come on. Walk it off."
