The thing that always bugged me about the whole, “What are the odds that we are here,” thing is that such an observation requires the improbable outcome in the first place. The argument itself asserts that the odds are low, not impossible, just low. Yet any being able to comprehend that that’s the case would have to be the outlier in those odds.
