anyway it was really nice how in The Terror every episode had a little aftershow that was just fifteen minutes of the characters  hanging around and being silly, getting up to domestic sit-com shenanigans since as ghosts they’d become impervious to the cold and were just perfectly comfortable and peaceful being buddies with each other

and it was interesting how it was never 100% clear if Hickey was there like sometimes it was implied that he’d hecked off to hell or whatever but other times he was just like the family nuisance and it was a running gag for every episode to have at least one moment where the ensemble yells, “Shut up Hickey!” before moving on with the plot

ghost!Goodsir’s friendship with Lady Silence was particularly beautiful!

it was a cute little minishow and i’m glad they included it to help lighten things up for the audience after how intense the main show was :)

hands-down the best episode of The Terror is the one from the animals’ pov where Jacko, Fagin, and Neptune have a little meeting and decide to set off together on an Incredible Journey-style trek home, then they run into Tuunbaq and it’s like “rwar im gonna eat you,,you’re in my territory rwar” and they’re like “actually we were brought here involuntarily and we’re trying to gtfo right now” so Tuunbaq’s like “oh, cool, we’re good then pls travel safe” and they’re like “thanks dude! oh btw don’t eat the Goodest Hooman,,he’s v nice and Pure” and Tuunbaq’s like “yah I’ll leave that one alone he seems lovely”

and they all part ways and Jacko, Neptune, and Fagin make it safely back to a place where they can live happily ever after as a trio of best buddies.

that was a really great episode and i’m glad amc included it.
