Working alongside Stink Studios we created a unique personalised film that tells the story of every Strava athlete's 2016.
Strava is the social network for athletes — a website and mobile app that helps runners and cyclists track their activities.
We took them on a journey inside the Strava app. Machines powered by their greatest achievements throughout the year. Each machine was designed to reflect the individual activity.

CROBOX MANIFESTO from Woodwork on Vimeo.
Crobox empowers customers to discover products they love.
Guarantee seamless product discovery with AI-driven product finders, messaging, recommendations, and intelligence.
Woodwork was asked to help Crobox tell their story in a more fun and relatable way.
Starting with the script we wanted to find a tone of voice that is relatable and easy to understand. Although the product has a technical side; the endgoal is to let consumers have a more human and enjoyable journey while looking for a product.
The elegant and colourful identity of Crobox landed itself very well for more fun explorations. We expanded with 3D elements and an additional shape library to make things more poppy and playful. Shifting between 2D, Cel animation and 3D allowed us to strengthen the visual story.

Hanukkah / Share the Light from Itay Tevel on Vimeo.
A short video I created for Hanukkah at @hellohornet , also known as “Festival of Lights.” My favorite virtue of Hanukkah is about shining a light that can unite us in the fight against evil. I feel that now, more than ever, this message is particularly timely. Hope you enjoy it as much as I had fun creating it!
כל אחד הוא אור קטן וכולנו אור איתן
Happy Hanukkah!

Couldn't have done it without the help of the lovely Hannah Sun and Hornet's interns.
Thankyou!

Lullaby Theories: Same Same But Different from Coat of Arms on Vimeo.
Inspired to explore science from the perspective of toddlers, we discuss epigenetics with our three-year-old identical, twin daughters in this episode from "Lullaby Theories." Simple and yet elegant, the science behind gene modification comes easily to these identical twins who notice daily how Same Same but Different they are from each other.
"Certain circumstances in life can cause genes to be silenced or expressed over time. In other words, they can be turned off (becoming dormant) or turned on (becoming active) ... What you eat, where you live, who you interact with, when you sleep, how you exercise, even aging – all of these can eventually cause chemical modifications around the genes that will turn those genes on or off over time."

Adobe "What's New - Multi-Frame Rendering" from Very True Story on Vimeo.
Adobe is a company that we not only are lucky to count as a great partner in work that we do, but also the company that makes many MANY of the programs that we use on a daily basis. When the AfterEffects team not only told us about their intention of implementing multi-frame rendering into Ae, and ALSO asked us to make a conceptual animation to show the speed and ease, we were pumped. With only a couple of stipulations of things to include, like mobile notifications, we hit the ground to make something that shows how fast this works. Seriously, the team knocked it out of the park on this one. And while we knew that this was going to be displayed as a new feature for folks opening Ae and sound wouldn't be able to be included, we seriously could not help ourselves, so as a little Ae "ding" on top, we made a crazy fun lil score for this.
