All of you Baltic States (Estonia,Lithuania, Latvia,) is it Possible for any country to develop free will (can they rebel from their own boss) and befriend countries that is politically hostile to them (like forbidden romance or friendship?)What are the rules of being a personification(like what makes a personification a personification, can they die, can they regenerate)? Do you have any powers (like powers to manipulate fire or sense environment,etc.....)?
Lithuania stood at the front of the stage as the press stared in awe at the trio on the stage. All eyes were on them. “I–” Lithuania closed his eyes and proceeded to talk. “…am in fact Lithuania.”
The silent crowd seemed to grow even quieter as the brunette adjusted and composed himself in front of the microphone. It had not even been twenty-four hours since the leak that these immortal beings had come to be known of worldwide and pushed them into the spotlight as chaos broke out around the world.
“I know you have many questions…” Lithuania read the sheet in front of him that was prepared by his government and himself to answer the questions that first arrived. “My free will is merely that of a human’s.” He said with disappointment. “I hold no political power, yet I represent us all. My experience in existence, everything– That is the only thing that makes me different than that of you or anyone else… That and I can’t die… or I can but I haven’t yet.” He tried to speak politely but was choking up, his stomach ached. “….and much like me, all of us others have that same free will to some degree. So yes, I can become friends with the other ‘personifications’ while not exactly being completely friendly with them… just as much as I can hate them… though much of my feelings are rooted in reason.”
There were a few camera flashes yet still a silent crowd. “What are you exactly?” A journalist spoke up with genuine sincerity.
“I don’t know…” Lithuania answered bluntly. “I’ve never known…” He shook his head. “Yet my existence is tied closely to the people and culture and even land.” He added, “When we as a people suffered, I suffered in different ways. When the nation was forced to do things, we were forced into situations that were so far out of our control that…” He paused, taking a deep breath. He knew the conference had to go on. “I don’t know what rules there are or anything. I just remember being a child and fending for myself for as long as I can remember, meeting Poland and–”
“Poland?” Another voice said from the crowd. “What is your relationship with Poland and Russia?”
Lithuania stared dead quiet at the crowd as another camera flashed at him. “As you would expect it, Russia and I are not on good terms.” He wanted to leave it at that. “Whether it is my political stance or not, the ties we have to our countries, people, governments, and lands hit a certain barrier that– With all due respect, this seems to delve into my personal life–”
There were some hushed whispers.
“As for Poland, our relationship has been strained at times.” Lithuania took a deep breath. “…and I understand some of the older people of my land might not be particularly fond of them, however– Our relationship is something that transcends that.” Lithuania shook his head. “In either way. I heal fast, I’ve had limbs removed and come back, I’ve been beaten and battered but healed up perfectly the next day… I’ve been through things that I’m sure very few mortals can grasp. I think I’ll only die when the last of my people and culture are over… much like my fallen Baltic brethren whom have fallen and died before me… or Rome.”
There was only silence as Lithuania spoke.
“Powers, I can’t answer that. I heal fast and I don’t seem to be burned by actual flame like a human would. It will burn me eventually but to cause a blister…” He decided to show it and pulled a lighter from his pocket, lighting it and putting it up against his hand, the flame hitting his skin. “Maybe I’d have to hold it here for an hour to feel something.” He laughed, his eyes admiring the flame. “In short though, I’ve never had much of a say about anything the last few centuries. I’ve always had to listen to my government or have been under the control of others. I think I’m more just like an immortal soldier when I come to think about it. Any other questions?”

And then a blond reporter have stirred up to his seats,as his blue sky eyes gazed at the Personification in the front and then he spoken "So, if you stated correctly that you and Mister Poland have met is this because of the The Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth was created in 1569 by the Union of Lublin. if-if your president have became gone rogue and decided to make a dictatorship, can you personification can make a uprising, rebellion or mutiny to overthrow him in such power?" the blond asks.
“Yes, Poland and I were together in the Commonwealth - It was more out of need than a want.” He brushed his long brown hair out from his face and sighed. “We had been together long before that though we hadn’t always gotten along, we ended up growing on one another.”The cameras flashed some more. At least his ‘outing’ had been smoother. It was a world wide leak and Lithuania felt thankful that all his people demanded, for now, was a press conference. He had already heard America was under attack by his inhabitants.
“Let me reiterate, however, we are only capable of having some impact on our people. We’re glorified soldiers and lawmakers who end up suffering more than our own share.” Lithuania began to rummage his mind for an example. “When the nobility of the Commonwealth began to do what they did, we were out of luck. Between our mistakes and our government’s mistakes, we had ended up giving them too much power and they almost took on a life of their own. They had become like leeches and the power of the families made it nearly impossible for us to fight back. As those who sided with us got weaker, those who were against us got stronger. We were unable to fight back.” He carried on. “In the 1800s we would gather with as many of our people willing to fight as we could and help try to uprise against those who overpowered us but they were still much stronger than we could handle and we’d end up losing again. I don’t think I have a right, nor a power to overthrow the president in these current laws, either.” He chuckled. “Otherwise I’m sure Poland would be running things very differently. Like I’ve said before - We’re just glorified soldiers. My real-life job is nothing but a top political advisor and even then they won’t listen to much I say.”

And then the blond reporter just gazed at Lithuania and then his blue sky eyes just gazed at him and then he made a sad smile and spoken "So, you're just a silence voice that can't be heard in the crowd,You ever get like lonely, being immortal? the prospect that you forever static as everyone around you move on to a place where you cannot follow truly troubled you right?" he spoken as he stirred down to his seat, as the silence have fulfilled engulf the room, patiently waiting for him to speak.
Silent. Yes, he mostly was. In his youth, he was able to grow to become a commander or general… but now in this present, the weight a person ‘his age’ had on society was never anything worthy of power. Despite his repertoire of things he’s done, they were always to be kept confidential, and to prevent conflicts, his status was always someone in the background. He could never run for president or even a mayor. He let out a soft chuckle. “Maybe that’ll change now that we’re known to the world.” He smiled some, “I’m sure it’s a matter of time until my records are open to the public.”
It took a minute for the remainder of the question to circumvent in his mind. Lonely?
“It’s hard to say.” He mused on that thought. “I’ve grown fond of mortals in my life… and it’s always sad to lose them.” He felt awkward but laughed instead of cried. “…but that’s where others like me come in and we share this experience together.” The crowd knew there were others. All of them had gotten leaked to the press.
“When I was younger I didn’t have many friends because I was very adamant against religion and the faiths that were trying to be imposed on me in all directions. My fellow Balts tried hard to fight against it but one by one they fell and I was left alone- mostly.” He could remember seeing (Old) Prussia fall vividly in his mind. “…and now it’s just me and Latvia.”
Latvia had been consumed by the German and Nordic culture many times and had struggled to remember his Baltic heritage but was able to hold on to just enough of it. “…but I have lots of friends like me… and hobbies and interests. I like basketball like anyone else here, I do martial arts and wood carving in my spare time. I work.” He continued to laugh it off. “I try not to think too hard about it.”

And then blond reporter just stirred up to his seat his blue sky eyes is filled with determination and then he spoken under his own breath "Are you proud of your country, have became?" he spoken, "What can you say to the people of the Republic of Lithuania, today for the youth of tomorrow any sort of inspirational quotes or speech Mister Tolys Laurinaitis for the greater and brighter future of the people of the Unitary semi-presidential republic of Lithuania?'' he spoken.
He had since stopped laughing but only smiled, nodding proudly. “I’m extremely proud of us.” He adjusted himself, knowing these words will probably make the news. “Keep trying, never give up, never let anyone push you down, and if they try, keep trying against them. It’s better to fight and it’s better to try than it is to bend down and let others walk all over you. Be proud of our history, be proud of who you are. We are strong, we are brave, and we will forever do what we need to do to remain honourable and valiant.” His voice was filled with ferocity. “Never, ever forget the great heroes that fought to defend this land and remember that you too come from that same seed. Others may try to beat us down, they may mock us, but they will never take our will to fight. Never back down and always keep going.”More camera flashes.“To my government. Continue to remain strong and vigilant, but never forget that our ancestors fought for the rights and safety of everyone.“
