Gentle reminder that very little fandom labor is automated, because I think people forget that a lot.
That blog with a tagging system you love? A person curates those tags by hand.
That rec blog with a great organization scheme and pretty graphics? Someone designed and implemented that organization scheme and made those graphics.
That network that posts a cool variety of stuff? People track down all that variety and queue it by hand, and other people made all the individual pieces.
That post with umpteen links to helpful resources, and information about them? Someone gathered those links, researched the sources, wrote up the information about them.
That graphic about fandom statistics? Someone compiled those statistics, analyzed them, organized them, figured out a useful way to convey the information to others, and made the post.
That event that you think looks neat? Someone wrote the rules, created the blogs and Discords, designed the graphics, did their best to promo the event so it'd succeed.
None of this was done automatically. None of it just appears whole out of the internet ether.
I think everyone realizes that fic writing and fanart creation are work, and at least some folks have got it through their heads that gif creation and graphics and moodboards take effort, and meta is usually respected for the effort that goes into it, at least as far as I've seen, but I feel like a lot of people don't really get how much labor goes into curation, too.
If people are creating resources, curating content, organizing the creations of others, gathering information, and doing other fandom activities that aren't necessarily the direct action of creation, they're doing a lot of fandom labor, and it's often largely unrecognized.
Celebrate fan work!
To folks doing this kind of labor: I see you, and I thank you. You are the backbones of our fandoms and I love you.

resident humble coralie enjoyer here (haven't played the new chapter yet but shhh)
- imo coralie and helia don't bicker *as* much anymore? at least not to the extent that ein and tesla tend to do, it's just that coralie will always be coralie
- tbh it's less of "coralie doesn't have many friends" but more like "coralie isn't a very social person". plus a lot of her jokes tend to be taken badly (I mean you saw how mad ppl were at her bc of the lab creation joke....) I think it would be more like ein being happy coralie had someone who understood her, especially now that she's so far from home
- helia is a very reliable and serious character, I think ein would like her a lot. she works hard but she's also pretty goofy sometimes, and coralie likes to tease her a lot. she'd probably be a little intimidated by tesla in the meet the in-laws kinda way but idk I'm no helia expert
bonus: coralie says that she and helia lost all contact with earth so it would be kinda funny if the first time ein and tesla contact her after who knows how long has coralie going "yo einstein I got a girlfriend lmao"
EinsLa reacting to Coralie getting a girlfriend? Lets say Helia for example.
I think they'd be genuinely happy for her. Probably shocking to some extent since they could barely even work together at first, but also I feel like it'd probably remind them of themselves to some degree (bickering constantly.)
Einstein especially would be happy for her. I could be misremembering, but if I'm not I don't really think she had that many friends. So her being able to make friends with her, especially after they could barely even stand each other, and then to date her would probably make her happy for her.
I haven't caught up with the story yet (haven't been on much lately) so I don't really think I can go into exact specifics since I'm.. Not really sure I know Helias character that well yet? At least not to the extent that I can accurately say how Tesla and Einstein would interact with her.
Also teasing. I feel like they'd try to mess with her over it but it fails miserably (Tesla especially. She tries but she never gets a response and it kills her.)
