I think everyone wanted so much more softness out of Season 2, but in order for the stories and characters to all grow, and for Wilhelm and Simon to be strong enough to last through the shitstorm that’s about to come their way, they had to go through all of this to find each other, and realise that they are each other’s choice for happiness, no matter how hard they tried to find it in other ways.

Love that Wille's flirting technique includes such highlights as:

Forget everything else, Wille and Simon discussing their relationship under the guise of classic lit interpretation was the gayest thing they’ve ever done

Even if Wille doesn't say “I got my hair cut.” Simon saw it first. Look at Simon's eye level as he looks even further above the phone.
