Relationships have become scary. One moment, it's "I love you" and the next moment, it's "I'm not sure anymore". One moment, it's "you make make happy" and the next moment, it's "I haven't been happy for awhile now". One moment, it's "I can't wait to see you" and the next moment, it's "I think I need some space". One moment, it's "I miss you" and the next moment, it's "leave me alone". One moment, it's "I'm sorry for making you mad" and the next moment, it's "you're always getting mad at every little thing". One moment, it's "I'm so happy I met you" and the next moment, it's "I wish I should have just stayed home that day". One moment, it's "good night, babe" and the next moment, it's "fuck you, I'm done". That's why most people are afraid to be with someone these days, because relationships don't last like they used to.

Sometimes, you just have to accept the message behind the reason why he isn't messaging you. Getting no message from him is still a message, and that message is he doesn't want to talk to you, he has nothing to say to you, and he isn't missing you enough to message you first. Men will always make time and take the initiative to text the girl first if she's someone he's interested in no matter how busy they are because that girl would be prioritized by them. I know you still lie there in bed trying to resist being the one who starts the conversation because you don't want to be annoying or a bother. I know you still wait to hear from him because you have your moments where you miss him even though you wish you didn't. But what's best for you is to not wait around for a message that isn't coming, because there isn't anything here anymore and you deserve someone who wants to talk to you everyday.

Please don't go back to him. Right now, I know everything inside of you is telling you that you should because it's what feels right. Right now, I know everything inside of you is convincing you that you should because it's what feels familiar and comfortable. Right now, I know everything inside of you is persuading you that you should because it's what feels natural for you to do. That's just it, though. This isn't the first time you've tried to leave, right? You've left before, but you always came back, and for what? For him to mistreat you the same way he did those other times? For him to bring you down the same way he did those other occasions? For him to damage you even further the same way he did those other days? I can understand that you came back because you love him, but what I can't seem to understand is why you don't love yourself enough to stay gone? I can understand that you don't wanna give up on him because you two have been thru so much, but what I can't seem to understand is why you've given up on your own happiness at the expense of his? He obviously doesn't value you because if he did, breaking up with him wouldn't be a routine. He obviously doesn't appreciate you because if he did, arguing with him wouldn't be a hobby. He obviously doesn't love you.. okay, maybe he does, but the way he loves you is dysfunctional, it's unhealthy, and you're better than that. So please, don't go back to him. Let it be over for good this time. Be done with it, and don't waste any more time on someone who's so undeserving of you. I hope you read this.
